Please tell me why the CPU details of this switch not coming ??? I can get the Memory details and other traffic monitors details too. The Frame error monitor is also a failure. when i checked both the monitor by TEST MONITOR button both showed me error. Please tell me soon I am stuck. Or just give a MIB of this switch.

Opmanager and ServiceDesk intergation
Hi We are trying to integrate opmanager and servicedesk plus, both are running on https and we did the steps as put in Solutions in opmanager support website. but when we try to integrate, we get problem saying servicedesk server is busy or there is special character. we checked but no speciacl characters are there in servicedesk list of technician, group or category. we follows this solutions http://support.opmanager.com/sd/AddSolution.sd?solID=11401 to find out issue but we do not understand this.
Windows event log monitoring questions, and a WMI credential question
Hi Guys, Couple of questions for you all. Hopefully you can help me out. Is there a way to check the status of or set the check box located at Actions Menu --> Event Log Rules --> "Monitor Event Log For this device" in bulk for windows servers? I just found a server where this was unchecked, the server had crashed and I was scratching my head as to why I did not get an alarm. Is there a way to set the event log monitoring interval in bulk? Hello, Shortly before Xmas I installed hotfix 8721. After that when I click on any of my business views I simply get a blank page with the word Error! Will installing HF 8722 resolve this or do I need to do something else? Thank you, Tom

Hello, I have a monthly requirement to provide a report that shows URL response time information; I know there is a report already there with the results in tabular format, however I would like to see the report supplemented at the end with a response time graph to provide some visual information as well as numerical. Custom Report Graphs not showing data
I have OpManager free edition installed on my machine for testing. I have added the WMI resource monitor for CPU, Disk and memory utilization for 3 mwindows machines. Everything was going fine from the last 1 month. I was able to see the custom report graph for CPU Utilization for my host machine (on which Opmanager is installed) but all of a sudden today when i checked i was not able to see the CPU Utilization custom report graph. It says "Data Not Available". It doesn't even show the last week
opmanager incorrectly setting all interfaces to 10MB
I keep reading about others having this same problem in OpManager. All of the interfaces on my linux Redhat 5.5 show up as 10MB instead of the 1gb and 10 gb that they actually are. I've tried messing with different MIBS and other things with no luck. I've also seen responses from engineers basically saying "not our problem". SNMP returns that, that's all you get. That's not a good answer. I have almost 200 nodes doing this and the other resonse I see from engineers is "go to each device and manually

Using Router Infrastructure for Other devices
Hi, I've saw that the router infrastructure view have some custom graph shown on the snapshot info page and I had an idea that could solve one of our problems with monitoring our checkpoint firewalls. I would like to know if it's possible for example to create a new infrastructure based on Routers infrastructure and change the graphs shown in the Router's health graphs. It could be nice to be able for example to monitor connection/packed accepted/packed dropped or VPN client or site to site connections.
OpManage Device Snapshot not showing any data
I am adding Cisco routers to Opmanager and the device snapshot is not showing any data for any of the graphs. I have confirmed that the credentials are correct and when I test some of the monitors via the snmp OID, they are successfull. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Visio data connection to OpManager SQL DB
I want to import device details into Visio using the Data Connector function to talk to the SQL database. But unfortunately I do not know which tables to connect to! I have my network diagram in Visio and want to link the device details such as Device Name, IP address, category, sys description, etc. On a different view in Visio I wish to pull in some performance data for the devices. Can you tell me which (of the hundred-ish tables) I should use?
Multiplenode and Multiple graphs definition
Hi all, checking on forums and KB I've saw a description of graphtype that describe those kind of graph in this way: If you choose <multiplenode> when associating the monitor, you will get an option to choose the instances. For <multiple> it will show the all the instance value in the graph when you click on the monitor. OpManager No data showing in device Snapshot
I have devices that are reachable, but for some reason under device snapshot none of the graphs are displaying any data. Response time, Packetloss, CPU utilization, Memory Utilization, and Temperature are not showing up. I have already verified that the SNMP comm strings are correct. Can anyone help ? Thanks.

I've a bit question for suppress alarm feature. when using the suppress alarm , that mean downtime will calculate in the report or not . (for case device down or interface down) I think the suppress alarm, just alarm so the downtime which occured will to calculate in the report. which diffrence from the schedule downtime which the downtime will not to calculate in the report . * I'm try to find the answer all the forum and user guide , but not have . please clarity to me. Is there any procedure to modify predefined monitors to replace OID if any device doesn't match old one?
I have few Devices of juniper which includes (Juniper M7i Router, SSG140 firewall, J6350 Router) which OIDs either not included in OpManager or not correctly responding in order to display required information. Also i wanted to create new Infrastructure view device category but i don't want inheritance monitor from predefined category however currently i didn't find any option to create new category without inheritance. Feature request. A new "Modify Device Template"
Been doing allot of work with OpManager and found that the "Modify Device Template" section is rather lacking. There are may thing that should be part of the template, but have to be changed on a system per system basis. Such as notification profile, or service monitors. So here is my idea. Make the "Modify Device Template" look just like a "Snapshot" of that system type. From there make all things editable. Like the dial graphs. I am trying to add a device from Admin->Add Device, but I am getting an error message stating: Device already present in the System. Inconsistent data in Domain Controller
Hi Team, We get inconsistent data from a few domain controllers and Exchange. Some data like LSASS,NTFRS,Cpu,Memory works, but other data is all N/A, We run the wmiadap few times on the system, but the problem continues on the systems. Monitoring Exchange 2003
I'm using OpManager 8.7 and wished to monitor our Exchange 2003. I've setup the WMI credentials which have tested correctly and i'm able to see my CPU/Memory/Disk utilization with no issues. However, the Exchange dashboard is showing up as N/A. This has happened to 2 different Exchange servers. Is there any special step to configure our Exchange for monitoring?
Alarm dissapears once the problem has been cleared
Hi, We are new to Opmanager and I cant seem to find anything that may resolve our problem. Over the weekend we had an outage that caused a number of alarms to trigger , however when we look back at the alarm history we see all the clear status however dont see any other status once the problem has been cleared. We need to be able to review back over the alarm history to see when problems happened in a single view. Thanks Brett

i have created a mail notification, and associated it to a URL in opmanager 7.0 but i want to set the consecutive time, example if i set the time to 3, and the URL monitors fails for 3 times continuously, then only opmanager 7.0 should notify me. not for the every failure. How to do this?

How to monitor an attached iSCSI volume for availability
We have a RHEL Linux server which is a VM (the VMFS is hosted on a SAN storage device) but the system also uses an iSCSI attached volume from a NAS device for its database. How can we monitor/check the availability/capacity of the iSCSI attached volume from within OpManager.

Hi, I notice the OpManager will not send email notification if it is already sent earlier. Yes, it is okay to avoid sending the same notification many times while we are working on resolving the issue. But what if no one acknowledge the alarm? Hi, I would like to check, is there a way where we can suppress all alarm related to the network interface? I can do this in "notification profile" (to avoid send email on network interface related alarm), but then in OpManager it will still trigger an alarm. I have student ports I would like to monitor for errors or discard excessiveness, but don't want events to come through when they connect and disconnect their computers. Will I have to unmanage the ports or remove them and lose everything monitored on them just to stop the updown events? Thanks.
