Adding Additional UPN suffixes to the templates

If the domain suffix is already in use for a few users in AD, please follow the steps below to synchronize it with the templates in ADManager Plus.


  1. Login to ADManager Plus.

  1. Navigate to Domain/Tenant Settings.

  1. Click the Update Domain Objects icon and select all the objects, then click OK.

 

  1. Once the refresh is completed, generate reports for all users, all OUs, and all groups.


To add domain suffixes in the template that are not currently used in the domain, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Management > User Management > User Templates > User Creation Templates.

  1. Under Actions, click the Edit icon of the template you want to edit.

  1. Click Enable Drag-and-drop to add additional suffixes.

  1. Click Edit from the drop down in the bottom left of the Logon name attribute.

  1. Under Enter the Default value section, click the Edit icon.

  1. Click Add to insert the domain suffix and click the + icon.

  1. Click Done.

  1. Click Save Template.

  1. Navigate to Management > User Management > User Creation > Create Single User.

  1. In the General tab, choose the domain suffix for the user from the Logon name dropdown menu.

  1. Fill in the required details and click Create.
