Requester - Site Field
I've noticed that the Site filed cannot be removed from the Incident Template, and I have no issues with this. So I'm wondering, why not just make it a permanent part of the Requester form on the template? I've tried moving it there into that open space, but it would appear that it won't allow us to do that. Unless there is a way to edit the Requester portion and I'm just not aware :) Thank you, Josh
Assigning requests to Technician on leave
I've set a leave in the schedule for my technicain user... but I can still assign requests to my user... that should not be possible.... assigning request to a technician that is on a leave for several week, is very bad. Am i missing something?

Share Request using custom trigger overwrites existing shares
Hi, I've created a powershell script that takes the mail address typed in the Cc field, and shares the request with this person. This works fine as long as the tech/user only types one mail address in the field. When we type e.g. 3 addresses in the Cc field separated by "," the script works, but adds the shares one at a time. Unable to remove DataSource
We are currently syncing OpManager to Analytics plus and need to cancel the sync without losing the existing data. User received error "Error occurred while loading input into DataBase" when trying to add a worklog
I have a technician that received an error when trying to add a worklog entry. He tried 4x before it finally took. In the meantime, he had contacted me and I was able to log an entry into the worklog of the same ticket without any issue. When I viewed the System Log Viewer, there were no entries related to this error. Is there a way to set the logger level higher inside the System Log Viewer so that errors are reported & easily viewed? I did create a support file after the issue happened.

We had a one year trial version of Service Desk Plus that we integrated when setting up Desktop Central. Due to reasons that could not be resolved by support, after a couple months we eventually reverted back to an earlier backup. However, our Desktop Central is telling us there are security updates, but when we try to download/install them, it tells us that we must use Service Desk Plus .... but we no longer use Service
Have SD+ move Assets in our AD
We currently are moving AD computer objects manually in AD according to their location. So if the computer is in California, we move it to the California branch OU. Well we have a lot of turn over and a lot of computer replacements going on weekly, this becomes something that is often forgotten and tedious. Is there any way SD+ can talk to AD and inform it when it gets assigned to a different site, to move it in AD to that site? Or if anyone has another product that may assist?
OnDemand running really slow.
When trying to browse, we are hanging up, or updating and/or saving tickets. It's taking 30 seconds to a minute to save. I've verified with the OnDemand status site that everything appears to be up. Is a large upload occurring?

Some of these machines used to have Linux Mint before being reinstalled, and the inventory scans were running fine. Build version is 10.0.56 . Most of the win 10 os are always offline even though we installed agent properly. But the other os such as win 7 and 8.1 are working well.if we reinstall it , it can be seen online for few hours.A few hours later , it's offline again .

Notification Rule for Resolved Cases
Hello, We are implementing the notification to the user so he can receive an email so he can close the ticket or he can reply to the request and reopen in. The problem is that the users are not reading the instructions, they reply to the case and they write something like "Yes, I aggee to close the request". This causes the request to change to Sent status. Is there any other way for the users to reject the resolution? Something like a $RequestReopenLink? regards
Unable to edit Custom Groups.
I had created Custom Groups dynamically based on the machine names. Later on when I want to add one more criteria so that kind on machines are also added to the Custom Group, I am not able to edit the group. It seems the only option is to delete the group and recreate it which is a tedious task as I have a lot of such dynamic custom groups.
Two credentials one device
I have a Server with a UPS attached by USB. The server uses port 161 and the UPS 163. I have setup credentials for both with the different ports but it seems I can only associate one credential per device. You can only have 1 device per IP address. I'm just looking for a report that displays in matrix style on the y-axis, a list of workstations/laptops names, users, groups. So I have been able to use the IP Printer configuration option to add a network printer to a user/computer, and a custom script configuration to set the printer as the default. I want these to run automatically when a user logs into a shared PC. My question is, how to ensure the IP Printer configuration is applied before the script to set the printer as the default?
