least privilege
All, I've been using a managed service account for the service account that PMP uses for it's local service, with much success I must say. However the way to get it working is to make the msa a member of the local administrators security group. As we try to leverage the concept of "least privilege" as much as possible I would like to know if there's documentation on the user rights etc that are needed to operate PMP on the local box. Hi I use script monitor in OpManager to monitor network device. but I have a problem to pass username and password to script for network device login. I downloaded the actual service pack of build 10.0.313. But while updating I got the error that this is a build for Desktop Central. The file name also does not contain the MSP. Please release the right build. Thx.

[RESOLVED] ADSelfService Plus in a subdirectory from reverse proxy (nginx)
I have a website "example.org" and I want to add ADSelfService Plus to this website under "example.org/password". The problem I have is that I cannot make the configuration work. If I make it available from "example.org", everything works as it should. The moment I have it through "/password" I cannot log in or access any css files, only the indez page shows up. Can Field & Form Rule update Subject text when editing Request Details?
I have created an "On Field Change" Field & Form Rule to update the Subject text based on the contents of several fields. The rule works fine if someone changes the value of an Additional Field by editing the request via the Edit button at the top of the request screen, just to the right of the Request ID. But the Subject does not get updated if the user edits within the "Request Details" section - either by clicking the Edit button in that section or by clicking directly on a field to be edited.

All, My company is currently evaluating PMP MSP and we’re trying to understand the concepts behind the tool. One of them is the AD import function and the reason why PMP automatically creates resource groups based on the OU's that it finds. (The latter is an assumption). Configure ADSelfServicePlus to use SQL server
Good day, For one my customers I'm trying to setup ADSelfServicePlus in a POC environment. The procedure for pointing the installation to SQL server (https://download.manageengine.com/products/self-service-password/configure-adselfservice-plus-with-mssql.pdf) is failing for me. When running changeb.bat I select MS SQL Server in the list box, I get a message I need to install the SQL native client first. But it's already installed. What is going wrong here? Hi all, Is it possible to limit in some way the functionality of the asset module available to a technician when it has been assigned asset management privilege? I am not talking about the standard yes/no possibility of "full control", "view", "add", "edit", "delete" and "scan". Rather I would like to give, to a technician with asset management privilege, the possibility to operate only on a restricted number of assets and not on all the available assets resource in the system. Restrict Profile by IP Address
Is there a way in AD Self Service Plus to setup a profile with an IP address filter? We want to allow domain admins to unlock/reset their passwords but only from within the LAN and not from the WAN. So we would have 2 profiles, one that points to the regular users OU that is usable from any IP address and another profile that points to the OU containing admins that is only usable from the LAN ip addresses. Much like you can restrict the Admin login page by ip address/range.

HTML-formatting
Greetings, I've built a HTML-formatted email that i've pasted into the admin console, but when I send it, it just sends as plain text. I've tested the emailtemplate in a browser and there it looks correct, and formats correctly. DC says OneDrive is installed on machine but its not listed as installed on machine
Hello, due to it-policy I wanted to remove MS OneDrive from all workstations. On some workstations DC reports the uninstall failed but when I look at the list of installed software in the control center of windows OneDrive is not listed as installed. How do I remove these false entries from DC? All workstations are fully patched Windows 7 machines.

HI, After updating to Build No:90023, some users are now presented with a install/shutdown msg. Shutdown Blocked - Configuration in Progress and they have to select an option, which all involves them to shutdown their machine. This is when having the patch deploy policy as do not reboot and all notifications to the user turned off. This was not a problem before the Build No:90023

Opmanager - Firewall Interfaces - Rx showing 100% utilization
hello, I was wondering if someone could help me identify an issue where in Opmanager, my firewall interfaces are always reporting 100% utilization on the receive connector (Rx). I know this is not accurate as some of the interfaces show thousands of Gigs coming in. I'm thinking this is a misconfiguration or a bug.

Requesters from certain Accounts cannot log in
Hi, I am experiencing a peculiar problem with requesters and the possibility to log in. I have 2 different accounts (Account A and Account B). When a user from A tries to log in to SDP, SDP shows the error message "Wrong username or password" (I have checked, doubble checked and trippled checked the password, I am entering the correct). BMC management interface password reset via IPMI
Can PMP reset BMC management interface passwords via ipmi? I can see "HP iLO" in the resource dropdown menu, but there is no general "BMC" resource available. How would I then reset the BMC management interface password for example on an IBM/Lenovo server?
