SSO on Chrome
I have SSO working on IE, it automatically log in users in the application, but when they try to do the same in chrome a popup appears to enter credentials. How this can be fixed?
How to modify existing widgets?
Hello, I need to make the Home page more useful to my techs by changing or creating a new widget to show their tasks/requests. For example: My Tasks, seems to only show tasks that are assigned to the technician, but i want to modify this so it will also show tasks assigned to any of their groups. My summary, I would like to modify this so it shows Active Requests assigned to the technician or their groups. My approvals, this does not seem to show approvals for Solution articles. Is there a way
Popup boxes with SelfService Portal after upgrade to 10.0.368
After upgrading to the latest version (10.0.368) our users are now getting 4 popup boxes when they open the SelfService portal. 1st box is a long Alpha Numeric string with an OK button 2nd box is "Zoho Corporation private Limited" with an Ok Button 3rd box is a repeat of the first 4th box is a repeat of the second After you click "ok" in the final box the Selfservice portal window does show up and is functional. The problem is our users think there's an issue and are all calling our service desk.
Grey page after login
Hello, After upgrading to 9.4 Build 9416 our users experience a weird issue. After login some users see a grey page: Other users don't have this problem. Hi When i try to add 2nd approval stage with 1st stage still pending approval, it allows to only add the name of the approver without any message. Whereas if the the 1st stage is approved i am able to add the name as well as a message to the approver. I am not sure if this an issue or the normal behavior , please clarify. Regards Rayeez

Error while deploying template configuration in Desktop Central
Hi All, We have run into an issue after upgrading DC to .368 that trying to use Custom Actions - Resolve Requests Using Template in which the error above appears on templates that had worked previously. Has anyone else seen this issue with the recent patches? SD is on 10.0 Build 10020 but i am not sure if it's related to Service Desk or DC. I figured i would start here first. Thanks

Self Service Portal closes after a few seconds
Hi guys, I have the feeling that since the new version of Desktop Central (10.0.386) the SelfService Portal crashes/closes after a few seconds. When I try to reopen it the same thing happens again. Delete registry value doesn't check if value exists and runs into an error
Hi, I'm deploying a configuration to disable autostarting an application by removing its autostart entry from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Since I don't know on which machines the autostart is enabled I'm deploying the config to all machnies but on machines without this registry value the config exited with an error "The system can not find the specified file". Which looks like there is no check if the value exists before dc tries to delete it.

I am looking to enable notifications when specific SLA's (not all) have fallen past their Response and Resolution due by dates, when these dates/times have been entered manually by the technician. Is this possible at all?

[SOLVED] 10500 Update issue with custom certificate
Update kept failing just before the database (SQL) update. When I switched the server.xml back to default the update went through but with either that one left in place or the one calling my cert back in place the server never gets beyond server started............... suggesting something not right in the server.xml?

Backup restoration hangs

Hello, How do the Software section work? We see 15 installations for the below software. But, when we select the Installation tab, it shows no installations But, when we check the History, it shows that it was installed 15 times on same computer. Is there where it gets 15 installations. The software is no longer on that computer, so shouldn't it read 0 Installations for the software.
Remove decimals from aggregated formula
Hi, We have this report (see attachment) where we'd like to remove the decimals in the graph for "Closed requests count" and "SLA violated requests". "RequestID Count" does not show decimals, so thats ok. The first two are aggregated formulas (that i think comes shipped with a+) and the last one is a regular column. How can this be achieved? :)
Unable to assign tickets to technicians
Hello, I'm currently in the process of setting up the free version of ME ServiceDesk Plus to use with our college and I'm having some problems with access rights. At the present time I've been able to configure the system and start creating indecent templates but technicians who open tickets are unable to assign them to anyone.
