Memory Utilization showing 100% on W2K
On certain W2K servers, I'm gettting a memory utilization of 100%. The sum of all the hrSWRunPerfMem entries is 1905148 KBytes and the hrMemorySize is 3898896 KBytes which should give a memory utilization of ~49%, not 100%. Other W2K servers are calculating correctly. All are the same build level (2195).
X-Window DISPLAY variable
FYI, if you have the X-window DISPLAY variable set to a remote machine when you start OpManager, and that remote machine is/becomes unavailable, it throws an error in OpManager when attempting to login. The StartOpManagerServer.sh script only checks that the DISPLAY variable is set, not whether it's set to the local machine where OpManager is running. The default behavior should be to run headless if either the DISPLAY variable is not set, or is set to something other than the local machine.

One of the suggestions which came from them, was fields of information which they currently are used to seeing, with another management software. Purchase Order Control
We would like to be able to format and set a numeric or an alpha-numeric range for our Purchase Orders. As it now stands, when we enter a Purchase Order, our ServiceDesk Plus assigns a numerical value beginning with the number "1." We also, would like to be able to "void" and "edit" an entered PO and have to option to reuse or not, the Purchase Order Number. I just built a second Opmanager system fresh 5510 version to double check as my initial install was linked to a remote Mysql server which isnt a default installation configuration to confirm that this hotlink does not function. Basically there is no URI for the hotlink. Can anyone else confirm this same issue? I did add additional mibs to be loaded and additional devices to the device tables but other than that this is a fresh install.

Is there any way to embed an HTTP link in any of the Device Details fields? (such as the Sys Desc. field). We have an external system that contains information on each server such as procedures, asset info, etc. and it would be nice to have a clickable link to that system from within OpManager.
Send traps failing
When an alert sends out a trap, the trap is failing with a "Cannot set agent address in trap. java.net.UnknownHostException: AppManager: AppManager". The traps have the destination host set to localhost (Sending to the trap receiver on OpManager).
Today's Packet Loss
H all, After upgrading to SP 1, I don't see the "Today's Packet Loss" display on my Opmanager which is running on Linux. Is this due to me running OpManager on Linux or is this because I still have to configure something?

Traffic not counted?
Hello, I'm evaluating the Linux version of Netflow Analyzer. I noticed that on every SOURCE OUT report i do, it appears to be some traffic not assigned to an ip. I'll explain: we have +/- 80 ips, belonging to servers. All of them pass by a Cisco 7204 router, the one which exports netflow data. As you can see in the attached image (it's a 30 minute period report), there is a list of ips and its out traffic. The first one 278.2MB which represents 12% of all out traffic, etc... outgoing SMTP conversation is causing failure.
the outgoing smtp mail pre-amble does NOT seem to include the full host name in the helo - i noticed this as i have recently had to update my spam protection and now require full compliency with some RFC's to try and reduce spam. your smtp implimentation only puts the host name in the helo command.. i think the RFC states that your HELO should post a fully-qualified hostname; ie (from my postfix log) RCPT from smtp.drone.com[132.219.59.188]: 504 <mailserver>: Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified

how can we add "all Request" to the request filter? the requester's filter showing contains only My Open Requests, My Request On Hold, My Closed Requests, All My Request. Integration of requester with other systems
This is turning into a killer product guys (and girls?) keep up the good work. However, as stated before it needs single sign on (AD integration). However, what I would also like to see is the ability for it to synchronise with my other practice management systems and therefore have system that synchronises client information with other SQL databases. Unknown OS
I ran a discovery on my Datacenter subnet and all of my servers (400 windows 2000,2003) came up as unknow OS. We ar e currently only using WMI becuase SNMP was never installed on the servers. Is there a way to change the OS type on all of the servers at on time or do i have to click through 400 servers to change it.
Software change tracking
It would be really good to be able to create a report say once a month which shows what software had been installed on what machines and what software has been un-installed.
Unlicensed Installations
I just need some clarity on the unlicensed installations. I have an application that I would like to know the workstations with this installed. It seems to be the default count for Unlicensed installations are 25. I have several applications that I would like to see all the workstations with this software but it only shows 25 workstations with the software. But, it shows more than 25 as the install count. I would like a way to run a report with all the workstations that have the software installed
Requests main screen - Request ID
Is it possible to have the main requests screen show the ID #? All of the emails refer to the ID#, yet you log into the helpdesk and can't identify which one it's talking about.

No detection of OS etc
My SNMP to my 2003 servers works great. But it won't detect the OS version and other thing. While WIFImanager detects this out of the box. How can this be?
slow performance of opmanager post sp1 install
Hi I upgrade to sp1 build 5510 yesterday, and the new functionality is appreciated. However I am finding that the web client has slowed down to an absolute crawl when using it compared to build 5504. Previously, navigating screens would take 1-3 seconds each, now it takes > 10 seconds to go into the snapshot for a device. Opmanager is running on windows 2000 server on a p4-2ghz with 512mb ram. Cannot remove admin
What is the reason behind admin being a non deletable account? I will be the primary technician for my organisation so I only need one technician account but as admin cannot be deleted I cannot assign myself with logon rights. I take it that this is now by design but is there anyway to remove the admin account or enable another account to be the technician other than by a second technicians licence?
