Stand Alone URL monitor - adding second Send To Address
.. silly question. I've tried seperating a second email address here with a comma, and with a semi colon, but the second email address does not get notified. Is it not an option to add a second email address on the Send To line?

Hi, Were having trouble discovering and monitoring all the interfaces on our adtran 3000's. after installing the mibs in the mib directory and even loading them in the mib browser we are still unable to discover and monitor all the interfaces on our adtran 3000
Error in downloading client files from BE
Starting this AM, we get an error message when connecting to OpManager - Error in downloading client files from BE. I upgraded to the Service Pack last week and it worked after. Anyone know how to fix this?

OpUtils Tools as scheduled service
It would be very fine if OpUtils could could be started as scheduled service. Egg. IP Address manger is scanning network every working day at 10.00AM. Also, access to the OpUtils should be made via https. there is lot information in OpUtils, like snmp strings, which can be exploited in dangerous way by unauthorized persons and https would improve security authorized operators and its credentials. tnx,

Well, I have a router owned by Sprint and I had them turn on Netflow, gave them the IP & Port of my server, and got NetFlow Analyzer running but I keep getting this error: No Router is currently exporting Netflow packets to this application I've checked & doublechecked everything in the 'how-to' and even called Sprint and had them go through their settings changes on the router as well as send them the Netflow Analyzer instructions on how to configure the router. URL Monitoring
I am investigating the use of the url monitoring capability within Applications Manager to assess the health of a number of web sites. When checking for specific html content, I keep receiving the failure The String ..... did not appear in the response. If I open the page in a browser the string is contained. Monitoring the address without the string test shows the site as up. Does anybody know of a way within the Applications Manager of reviewing what it believes has been returned? FYI I have checked

oputils login
I have just downloaded and installed oputils but am asked to login everytime I select one of the tabs across the top of the screen. The screen shows 'Welcome admin' after I have logged in but I cannot access any of the tools. What do I need to do to be able to use the software?

Hello: The new update of service desk, helps greatly in importing requesters from Active Directory, it does import all details also. Thanks for that. Howerver, there is one issue for which I am not clear, how do we provide self service login detail for the requester? I see that if we add new requester manually, it does allow to put in self service login and send email to requester, however I dont see that when requesters are imported from AD. Monitor weblogic through ssh tunnel?
Is it possible to monitor Weblogic server through ssh tunnel? I have opened tunnel from appmanager server to weblogic server (like this "ssh -g -L 12344:localhost:WeblogicPort -N WeblogicServerUser@WeblogicServerIp"). Applications Manager finds Weblogic server but can't get jvm status etc. When I try to configure Weblogic monitor to get these statistics in logs I got this kind of message: java.net.ConnectException: javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException:
Router loses display name on rediscover
On one of my routers with multiple E1 interfaces, I have gone in and put in more detailed information into the Display Name Field. When I issue a rediscover, the information I entered is lost and replaced wih what it picks up from the router. How can I change this that it always retains what I have entered.
URL monitoring showing different results for IP and URL
Hi, When I set up two URL monitors, one pointing to the URL (http://www....) an the other one pointing to the same resource but directly by its IP address (http://192....) I get different results. Cant graph Custom Mib Variable
I am currently evaluating OpManager 5 for my company. A colleague cannot seem to graph a custom variable for an HP Laserjet 5 printer (no of pages printed). The OID is .1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.4.2.2.10.2.1.5.1.1. Error Since trying to update to SP2
Hi, Recently i tried to update to your service pack but for some reason it failed and rollback the update. Since then it will not start back up the server. It stays on application layer and goes no further. I have left it going for over 24 hrs because of my day off. Thanks, Ross
Pop3 Problems
Hi folks! At the moment I'm evaluating ServiceDesk for my company. Program works fine except for one thing. Can anyone please help me out on this thing? The thing: I Can't fetch mail from pop3 or imap mailbox. Mailserver is Exchange 5.5 on a windows 2000 server, both with latest servicepacks applied. Tried to authenticate using telnet on port 110 But username and password are not accepted in plain tekst. When using outlook with "secure authentication" enabled the username and password are accepted.
Duplicate requests and OpManager integration
Is there a way to mark one request as a duplicate of another? We are using OpManager to automatically open tickets when it sees a problem, however with randomly reoccuring events, it is opening a new ticket on each occurance. What I really need is for it to recognize there is an existing request open for that subject, and just add notes to that request that the problem reoccured. Barring that functionality, at a minimum it would be nice to click the new request and say mark as duplicate of "request
How do I add an air conditioner category to the Infrastruct
We have a Liebert Air Conditioner. it is SNMP enabled with proper community strings. What category do you recommend I add it to? It is not a server, nor a UPS, and not a desktop computer.

1)Your product can scan the machine but it is unable to give the same into reports it should have a same module in which attached assets option should be there. 2)Asset movement tracking and history of the assets like the user which owned this asset previously is not there. SNMP Traps
I'm just starting to get the hang of the SNMP traps. It took a while to get them working until I found a message on the forum about turning off Windows' own Trap Processor service. It might be helpful to others to publish this tidbit more prominently, or better yet, have OpMan notify on startup that it cannot processor Traps because the OS service is running.
