About EventLog Analyzer
EventLog Analyzer is a web-based event log management tool that collects, archives, and reports on event logs from distributed Windows and UNIX hosts.
What's in there?
On the event log management front,
1. Choose between agent-based and agentless architectures
2. Configurable archiving of event logs
3. Database filters to store only specific events from specific hosts
4. Support for simulating event logs
5. Threshold-based alerts, with e-mail notifications
6. User management to define users with different access privileges
On the reporting front,
1. Pre-defined compliance reports for SOX, HIPAA, and GLBA
2. Historical trends of events generated
3. Host-based event reports
4. Custom reports with scheduling and e-mail options
And finally, there's the Ask ME feature that lets you access specific reports in EventLog Analyzer by asking a simple question.

Go ahead and try EventLog Analyzer. As far as the Free and Professional Editions are concerned, the Free Edition can collect event logs from a maximum of 5 hosts (Windows or Unix). That's about the only thing that separates it from the Professional Edition, which by the way, is free to try for 30 days.
