About Firewall Analyzer
Firewall Analyzer is a web-based firewall log analysis tool that analyzes logs from most enterprise firewalls, proxy servers, and Radius servers, to show you reports on bandwidth usage, VPN statistics, firewall traffic, and more.
What's in there?
On the reporting front,
1. Pre-defined reports on firewall traffic, with separate reports on Web, Mail, FTP, and Telnet traffic.
2. Virus and Security reports showing top viruses, denied hosts, and more.
3. Specific reports on VPN usage, and statistics.
4. Reports for squid proxy servers, with information on top talkers and websites accessed.
5. Historical trend analysis, with peak and off-peak hour reports.
6. Options to set up custom reports, and report profiles.
7. Scheduling and emailing of reports.
On the administrative front,
1. Threshold-based alerts, with e-mail notifications
2. Firewall log simulation
3. Support for log import
4. Configurable log file archiving
5. Protocol grouping, with options to define protocols and protocol groups
6. Intranet settings to identify internal traffic
7. User management to define users with different access privileges
