Monitoring Weblogic Cluster
I am currently using the free edition of the application manager to evaluate its ability to monitor a weblogic cluster of 1 admin node and 2 manage nodes howerver aftering configuring the application manager to monitor the admin node I can seem to be able to get it to monitor the manage nodes ? I would at least like to see the primary execute queues on the manage nodes. How can I configure this ? Regards Alvin

FWA stops gathering data
It seems that overnight, FWA stops gathering data and the system it is installed on has to be restarted. Also, when I import data (as I had to today from logs missed on the weekend), the fwa stops collecting data and has to be restarted. As a result, my evaluation is looking rather spotty. I can't get more than a day or two worth of contiguous data. I am running 4.0.0+Cisco ALL Fix Any thoughts, guys?

Problem updating Tomcat threshold
I try to update Tomcat response time threshold from default (<1900, >1900, >2000) to my own setting (<3000, >3000, >4000). I have waited for almost 1 hour now (with 10 minutes update interval) but the new settings still haven't been reflected in the monitoring page. Attached are 3 screen captures. Hello, Is it possible to perform Kerberos Authentication with Bandwidth Analyzer? The idea is to authenticate users with an Active Directory system. Active Directory supports user groups and it would be great if we could assign users to a particular group and give access to devices depending on people being part of this group or not. Repeating Requests
I just downloaded the trial version of ServiceDesk Plus today and am playing with it tonight. I have repeating requests that have to be done on a weekly and monthly basis. I can't seem to find a way to mark a request to automatically repeat (recreate a ticket) when one is closed. Is this not available with ServiceDesk Plus?

In this service pack release I read that the "Threading of Requests - Including the request related conversations under the same request ID. (Note for current users : The request history which was available in the separate 'Replies' tab is now part of the request conversation details itself) " I read this to fixd the problem of when replying to a job it would be added to the same job instead of creating a new job everytime. I found customized report function will be available by end of Sep. Can you advise the roadmap, or the detail of levels of the customized report. Missed Polls Number
Is there a way to change the missed polls number to a higher number then 5? We would like to implement a notification of different levels of our Company depending on the amount of time that a location is down. Such as at 5 polls missed it notifies our support department at 10 polls missed it then notifies Network Operations then at 15 polls missed it notifies Management. Corey

Technican Holiday Planner & Planned Maintenace
Would it be possible to include in furture release to expand the SD holiday element. Ideally I would like to see a annual planner where the service desk manager can plan, allocate jobs based on skills on available technicans. We have a number of engineers who's skills are from Unix/Linux, AS400, Web, and Windows networking. I would like to see which engineers are on holiday or holidays due. To expand from this the possibility to incorporate Planned Maintenace of servers, desktops or project rollouts
Asset Reports
I have been looking at the asset reports. Would it be possible to have total and sub-totals included in these reports. If not could could provide me with some database parameters so we can then use Crystal or Business Objects to create our own custom reports. Rgds Damian

When I run the DIsk Space Usage report, all the servers I have show NA for the Total Space & Disk space used Percentage(%). Is there a way to get that info?

I have a Server alarm indicating a problem in home page of OPmanager, and when i try to access it, the resulting page is blank. If I try to change the status in Alarms to clear it appear to do nothing and still appearing in the alarm list Can anybody help me?

AdventNet JMX Agent - RMI Adaptor monitor doesn't work
I have created a standalone J2SE application and have used JMXStudio to expose business info mbean (HTML and RMI adapters are used). While the application is running, the MBean Browser works fine that it can get and modify the object's attributes without any problems, however, if I want to add a "AdventNet JMX Agent - RMI Adaptor" monitor to manage this application in AM, it keeps reporting that the service is not running. I'm sure that the host and port number are all correct. Did I miss something?

Wants to Monitor Microsoft Exchange 2000 Mail Queues
Hi , I am using OpManager for monitoring Exchange 2000 server. right now i am minitoring CPU utilization, Memory Utilization ,Disk utilization and And all Exchange related services. But i also want to monitor MTA Queues, InBound , Outbound Messages, Outgoing mail size. I have added these counters in application monitor. but its not communicating with exchange 2000 server. We are planning to implement this tool in Cairn Energy India Pty. ltd. But i want to test every counters before saying yes to

I would like to know how is calculed this value because I don't understand. For example, I monitor my personnal computer with SNMP, I get around 50% of memory utlization but how can I verify that values are real Can you explain me that Please, thanks.
AD Authentication - Automatic Auth Needed
I'm evaluating SD+ as a replacement for our current help desk system. One of the simple, yet nice, features of our current system is that it can use windows authentication to automatically log users into the help-desk system through Internet Explorer (and Firefox if it's properly configured) so that our users don't have to log in to submit a request. It doesn't appear that SD+ has this ability, though it can use AD authentication but it still requires you to manually log in. Is this on the roadmap?
alert profiles and no inward data
Hi, 1. Do you have examples of working alert profiles for Pixes. Your doco gives no examples as to how to configure these. Also what quantifies as an alert, is it just a log that matches set criteria? 2. My reports show no inward data even though I have configured the intranet settings? 3. Also is there a way to look at the raw logs other than sql queries to work out what the box is receiving to set alerts reports etc? bakes

i've installed OpUtils v3.0. before that, i have installed Java SDK 1.4.2. i can start the OpUtils server. and if i go to http://localhost:7080, i can view the login page. but after i press login, nothing happens.... please help me. need advise :)

Will the new release that supports MSSQL also contain a migration path from a running environment from MySQL --> MSSQL so we do not loose information. When will it be possible to customize the login page, logo's and text. Peter

We are currently testing the SD+ product and are really impressed with what the software offers. We did come up with a question in a meeting and wanted to know if we could edit the login page to see if we can change the links on the bottom right hand corner of the login page to our website and tech support?
