Spanish characters in OP Manager
Hi there, We have some specials characters like " � ", and some of my PC's has this character in the PC name. OP Manager reads this character as (in HTML code � = à ±) We can't clear the alerts for PC's with this simbol in the name of the machine. hi, the analyzer is working with installed collectors? in our network we have some installed collectors for an other netflow analyzer. now we will test your software, but we have over 250 interfaces to observe and we can not configurate each device for this. have the analyzer an own collector? or we can select our collector? 1 hour QuickView incomplete
/scratches head When I click any of the devices or groups QuickView icon the resulting information is missing the first and last 10 minutes of information. I have verified that all devices have the correct time/timezone configured on them. Attached is a copy of one of the reports. This began after I updated the system to the 5002 build. TIA Gordon

Thi sis not a big problem, but a little annoying/confusing... When you enter a number of holidays, could they be sorted in to date order - including the year? Translated ApplicationResources.properties lost after update
I know it is very stupid. I installed build 5011 after making a backup of the data. After starting the services I found out the interface was english again. Gone hours of translating. I didn't have a backup of it. How will updates be aware of translations in the future? I mean wilt it automatically keep de translated file active, how will new expressions been added to the file (I do I know which I have to translate)?

Hello - I am building some reports and have come across a slight issue; it seems that I cannot see support calls that were never assigned to a queue? we quite often open and close supports calls whilst over the phone. for example password resets. Request form problem
Hi I think there is a small bug in request form, more than one technician can edit the same request in the same time and add something to content. In the end only last entry is saved (Full list of changes is only in history tab). Is it possible to block or warn technicians from enter the same request in the same time ? Regards Bart

Tracing an IP address in NetFlow
I am using OpMan to track my Internet traffic. I am seeing a tremendous amount of traffic going to "205.161.6.57" on http. I have tried to connect to it to see what it is but I get a bad URL message. I tried DNS Reports but nothing came back on it. Does anyone have any ideas how I can track this down to see what it is? :D

OpUtils & OpManager on the same server
I am currently testing out these products and I have noticed a problem with them. They don't seem to like being logged in together. I log into OpUtils and start doing something, then I log into OpManager, if I switch back to OpUtils the session ends if I log back in and go back to OpManager the session ends. Not a huge deal but it can get annoying when trying to get a lot of things done.
Database Monitoring
Hi, Is it possible to create DB users on the DB you wish to monitor that only have read access to the required tables? Your documentation always suggests using a System administrator or owner; however, I'd rather have a separate user that can only access the performance data your application requires. Is this possible? Do you have a list of the tables for each DB that are required? I'm really only interested in MS SQL and DB2 (AIX). Thanks, Chris.

Error when attempting to change Device Type from Unknown
When I attempt to change a device from Type "Unknown" I get a screen that just says "Error!". The system description is correct and I was able to change the Category to the correct one.

bug in reporting
hello, when i open the device and press on the pie chart ( availability) it appears the today availability , but when i try to custom it for , it still display for me the today availbilty numbers (but of course the title of the page is the availabilty of my custumized period). any solutions ? also if i tried to go to "reports" tab and select device , there is no "availabilty " report i can generate , only response time.

Installing on Ubuntu 5.10
It took me a day or two but I was able to install OpManager onto Ubuntu 5.10, I just thought I would lay out what I remember doing incase someone else is looking. When I run the report for "this week" (the default) I get a total of 6 requests, but if I run a report for this month I only get 2 - which can't be right because all of "this week" is in this month. I've already checked that the GPO for the server I'm monitoring is set to audit success and failure for all Audit policies. I've double checked that the server is communicating. I can Also, if I go into Event Reports, the Security event count is over 77,000. Linking existing requests to new requests
Is there an easy way (and if there isn't, can we have one?) of linking existing requests into a new request? I would like it to help with problem management. If I can raise a call and assign it to, say a "Problem Raised" category, I can then link any related incidents to it. I looked for a machine name, after being asked to do a scan on it. Not finding it, I entered it in as a new asset, the page cleared, updated, and told me the addition was successful. Annoying email/notify issue
SD+ pulls in names from AD, but all our names are created in lastname/firstname format, for ease of use. That means that SD+ pulls all our requesters in as firstname/lastname too. That's great, no problems there, but when the system sends a notification message it simply reads the requester name variable and enters that into the message body.
