Cisco Interfaces - Trial version
Hello, I am using the trial version of OpUtils. Under the Cisco Tools options I am viewing the Interfaces option. While viewing the descriptions of the ports only the port descriptions for the SUP module display data on the percentage meters (Input Utilization & Output Utilization). All of the other ports (GE & TENG) do not show any performance on the percentage meters. Is there a setting I am missing? Thanks! Mike

POP3 Authentication Error
Hi, I get the following message when trying to set up Mail Server Settings: FAILURE :Email Settings saved successfully. But error occured while trying to check connection with mail server - Authentication Failed using the given username and password. Ive checked all of the settings twice, server/username/password/email address. I believe it has something to do with our server having SSL setup, it is not an option to disable this. How do i set up SD+ to use SSL when authenticating with email server.

Microsoft SMS Integration?
I was just curious if there were any ability / plans / experience tying in information from Microsoft SMS into ServiceDeskPlus? Mostly I'd be thinking from an inventory workstation perspective, but also the possibility of tying in a link to SMS remote control (or RDP/RA/VNC for that matter). If anyone has had any experience with using both in the same environment, that would be helpful too (since we are already doing hardware / software inventory through SMS, an inventory scan of the workstations

I've asked this before, but are there any plans to implement a tie in to Microsoft SMS for inventory? Or has anyone ever attempted to import inventory information from SMS? Cannot connect to Exchange Server for incoming emails
We moved ServiceDesk (6010) to a new server by installing the application, applying licences, and migrating the database successfully. Sending email to our Exchange Sever is not an issue. Error when processing mail
We�re using ServiceDesk Plus V6 Build 6008. Yesterday stopped the Mail fetching service with an error while processing a mail. After a restart the same error occured, so I moved the mail manually to another mailbox. Now the mail fetching works so long. I don�t see any difference between the the error producing mail and any other mail. Do you have any hints? Btw Is there any way to monitor the mail fetching status? It is very unfavorable when the user send tickets and the helpdesk doesn�t see them.

Multihomed server - can OpManager monitor both cards?
Hey - I've got a couple Windows servers that have two NICs (each with static IPs obviously) and I'm wondering how OpManager handles that? Added the server in with an IP address on card one. Then went to device discovery and chose the IP address bound to the 2nd NIC on the server. OpManager says the device was added successfully, but then that second IP doesn't show up anywhere. Does SNMP report back to OpManager summarizing both cards? Thanks!
Free Disk Space Alerts - False Positives
Hi I'm getting a lot of 'FreeDiskSpacein GB' alerts - I set the threshold at 10GB and all the servers I'm receiving the alerts from have more than 50GB free on all drives. These servers are SAN attached via StorNext clients. The SAN drives are presented to the server as local drives by the StorNext client. I found a forum message that said these issues can arise when using mapped network drives/shares - will this be a similar issue? The SAN attached drives all have more than 17TB free if it makes

I tried to monitor cisco 1841 router by OpManager 7.0. I can choose cisco vendor but in type there is no Cisco 1800 series. How can I enable this router??
General failure while scanning node.
We are running build 6010. We have two domains, separated via a VPN. We have ServiceDesk running 'locally' at both locations. But when I try and scan the other domain from here the vast majority of machines come back with a 'General failure while scanning node'. AFAIK no ports are being blocked by our VPN and these machines are read correctly by ServiceDesk at the remote location. Any ideas? Thanks.

But I only want to get the last row-value of this column (total-value). It has on all my NT machines the same OID (.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1.5.1.3.13.95.84.111.116.97.108.58.95.84.111.116.97.108). Software keeps restarting
I have the latest version of AD Manger installed on one of 2003 domain controllers and i have delegated a security role to several security groups. I accidentally delegated access to the default user contatiner and i can not revoke access. everytime i try the admanager engine restarts. This only happens with the uses container. Other OU's dont cause the same problem, however even though the software says the role has been revoked when i refresh the page the role is still delegated. Any help would

Open Reports show deleted requests
Sometime when a unimportant request is generated we would simple like to delete the request. It appears to disappear from the Open queue but these issue resurface when running reports. Is there a standard way to permanently delete some requests? Thanks!! Jon

Hello, we are currently evaluating the Applications Manager with several Monitors for Windows and AIX systems. The problem is that some monitors suddenly stop to collect performance data. But others don't... then we have to restart the service and all seems to be fine again. Do you people have any ideas? timruge

Good day, We're wondering if we should install service pack 7310 or not. We're running 7300 onto Linux. We also have the following patches applied : - 2007_2_12_10_26_5_JDKSolarisFix.zip - poll_problem_fix.zip - Report.zip - SshTools.zip - fileclass.zip So we don't want to overwrite some of the fix we have... Monitoring different yeps of HTTP traffic
NFA6001. I wish to monitor internal and external HTTP traffic as two different applications. How do I do this? I have tried setting up different application entries using IP address ranges on port 80 and 443 but it doesn't seem to work. Obviously one end of the session will always be an internal address but the other end may be internal or external. Can I use this information to get the packet dumped under the correct application name?

I installed build5500, create the domain configuration and import users from AD success! then upgrade to build6008 by installling the newest service pack + hotfix , attempt to import new users from AD, a error message appears after i check the OU tree: General failure while performing the operation, and always get this message whenever i tried to restart the helpdesk service or the server.

When a support rep wants to add a time entry even that in the form of the entry time&date is shown ok, when you save the event it shows 01/01/1970!!! After this you have to edit the event and it shows ok... I use the 6000 trial version downloaded from your site. Regards

Hi, I have an issue with the system. We often ask our customers for screenshots. Now we do this using the reply button on the requests and asking customers to reply to the mail. I just tested this and now the attachment does not appear on the request. I suppose this is not by design. I am also sure I tested this before and it did work. What can be a reason and how can I make sure the attachments are coming in with the mail? Thank you, Sandoor
