Export "every email address" from Exchange
Hey gang, I need to provide a list of "every" individual email address off our Exchange box for the company that will be doing our spam filtering. I can handle the export of the user list ok, but how can I use ADManager to make sure I cover anything else that's associated with an email address, such as public folders, etc.? Brian

Hello, We have some customers in Brazil and them suggested to us that SDP could has a option to allow or deny the ticket request from not registered users.

We currently have setup a redirect so when clients go to server/helpdesk they get redirected via IIS to the server ServiceDesk runs on , like this: server:88 Is there a way to cloak it so they can't see the URL, or so that it keeps the server/helpdesk/service desk format?
Opmanager 7 issue
I am using opmanager version 7.I installed net-snmp on client machine and opmanager 7 on server machine.But when I called cpu utilisation from mib browser the error " Request failed or timed out. Response PDU received from 192.168.1.3 Error Indication in response: There is no such variable name in this mib. Errindex: 1" .All forums tell use CLI based authentication that will fix the issue,but no luck.Some told install oid for the mib,how can I do this or what is the exact issue and fix.Please advice
Memory Utilization Dials/Custom Monitors
Every 24 hours or so.. (maybe less) My memory utilization dials stop showing data. When I perform a manual test for memory utilization.. I get "timeout" errors. My resolution to fixing this..is simply restarting the opmanager service on the server running the application. The OS that is continuously causing this any of my hosts running "linux". Its like opmanager and my linux hosts..just stop talking to eachother on the memory utilization tests. Any curiosity why this is happening?

Hi everyone, i just finished the installation of this new product for me, so i have this problem, when i access to the administrative web page, on the right bottom i have this Server System Time : Feb 28, 2008 6:56:07 PM , the problem is that my server has the 12:57 p.m so whats the problem, belive me, i check the time OF THE SERVER and the time that the application shows is wrong, any ideas???

requester email notifications
I have searched and searched for an answer for this and i'm just an eval user right now. i emailed support/eval and they said this was possible but still haven't explained how. WHen a user logs in, submits a request.. i want the emails that get sent to be for that user and a couple other users in the same branch/location/dept. I don't mind using Exchange for a dist list at all, but i don't want to have to create a special account for them to log in to, i want them to use their own username. any ideas?

Hi, On both my servers & desktops i have my Snmp enabled but when i go on to Event log rules & click Test Credential option in it it says snmp & wmi failed.Moreover for what purpose this MIB Browser & Switch port mapper is used.on certain systems i do get the cpu & memory utilization while i dont receive data for disk usage...And on certain systems even when SNMP is enabled i dont get the data for CPU, Memory & Disk usage...Please advice

Add a button to Resolution page
Would it be possible to add a button to the Resolution page that saves and then sets the request to resolved so it sends out the email for the user to close? I don't know if others want this or not but I think it would be a great and easy addition for those of us who use the resolved email and close feature.

Multi-Language Issues...
Hello Folks, How can I change the language for support center? I�ve tried to set 'browser default' on admin configuration and also on user configuration but none of then worked for me. I have 2 machines, one with Firefox English version and another one with Firefox Portuguese version. The main server is configured to show the in Portuguese. but when I opened a client machine using Firefox in English, it�s still showing Portuguese for me. SD7011 will not start after updates
Hello all, This morning we migrated from 6015 to 7000, then applied the 7011 SP and now SD will not start, it stays hung on the startup, with the wrapper log file showing that AdventNet ServiceDesk is failing to start. Any help is appreciated. If tech support sees this, can you please forward me a number to call for support. Thanks!

Foundry Switch showing 66 ports
Hello, We have 14 Foundry Switches. The model number of the switch is FastIron GS648P. Three of the above mentioned switches in the OpManager Device Snapshot page shows port/Index number from 1-66 where it has only 48 ports with 2 optional 10G ports. Anyone can help with the probable reason for it?
Notifications in Junk E-Mail
We are using SD+ 6.0 with a Mssql 2000. Sometime requesters receive the notifications when a request is closed in their Junk Mail. How to clear this problem?
No assets in asset list of new request
Maybe I am missing something simple, but when I create a new request, I would expect to see a list of assets associated with the user in the asset list. Unfortunately this is blank. The only way I can add the asset to the request is by clicking the plus icon and then paging through the entire list of assets, currently about 7 pages...which i might add are nor sorted in any logical way. I have tried this with the checkbox for show associated workstation checked and not checked. Either way its the
Some basic questions
Hi all I am currently trialling OpManager MSP Edition Build 6005. This is being trialled on a business park of 25 units - each unit has a switch (24 or 48 port) with a fibre uplink port back to the 2 core switches. Current issues: 1. I am getting an alarm for every port up/down over these 25 switches...which is completely unnecessary. I would like to disable alarms for member ports while still collecting stats for them, and just have port up/down alarms and email notification for the uplink ports
Issues after upgrade from 6014 to 7009
Hello, Recently I upgraded ServiceDesk Plus from 6014 to 7009 since that two issues occured: 1. Editing one of technicians finishes with error: 1204137095343 2. Modification or adding new Workstation Additional fields is impossible. After modification and save everythig looks good but after choosing Admin tab and entering again Workstation Additional fields menu all saved changes are gone. After update to 7011 noting changed. Have any one any ideas how to solve above?
Support for MAPI integration
My Exchange Server administrator and his group are requesting the SupportCenter Plus application support MAPI integration, as opposed to POP or IMAP, as are currently available in the "Mail Server Settings" - as neither of those are currently enabled/configured/supported in our environment today. A search of the forums for "MAPI" returned no searches. Has no one else brought up the topic of native MAPI support in Microsoft Exchange environments in the past? Anyone have thoughts on the matter? Agent Mode vs Agentless Mode
I am running PMP in Windows server with joined domain. I know that we did not need to use agent in order to chagne Windows administrator password. However, I want to ask that Will it more reliable if we use agent-mode ? For example, in following scenario 1) PMP Agent run on Windows Server which is joined to domain 2) One of my administrator with domain privilege go to change the local administrator password 3) As the local administrator password is changed, Can PMP still change the password using

Hi, This maybe a slightly complicated question so I will try to explain it as best I can. We currently have 4 teams using SDP. At the moment all the jobs are listed on one view so it can be very complicated to figure out what is going on and which jobs are which. We have tried using the Custom view option but it is not working well for us. We would like to setup it up so that a person from Team 1 can see all jobs assigned to them, all jobs that are assigned to the group, Team 1 but that are not assigned

Hi all I would like to use the Netflow Analyser graphs in order to build a Monitoring dashboard of our network. We actually use MRTG in order to build some Internet Pages on the response time between two sites, the bandwidth used and so one... Netflow Analyser is much better that what we have ( except for the response time =) ) and I would like to use that tool to generate automatic pages to be displayed in our Monitoring Dashboard. New function for different management?
Does anybody know in the new Version,Netflow can provide below function or not? Description: Different person has different rights to reach different interface. wrong interface speed
I have tested NFA , and netflowed two outbound interfaces of cisco7609 . Some questions : Q1,it seens it's not correct of that it shows the interface utilization is 0% . It captures the interface bandwidth in right snmp property and a community string. And the true speed is above 200Mbps of 10G . On OpManager build 7020. We can't fetch asset details from SD+ The assets are listed in both OpManager and SD+ and both the servers are running side by side -- we can jump back and forth between them. What conditions have to be met to have the assets populate in OpManager? I saw it happen once but couldn't repeat it ...
