Generating reports
Hello, is it possible to restrict users with specific roles from viewing eachother requests when creating new reports? At this moment we can only restrict them from viewing eachother requests. We downloaded the trial but two technician licenses isn't enough for us to test the software fully. Is there a way to get 3 additional temporary licenses?
Using Spellcheck inserts extra space
7009 on MSSQL 2000 If you use the spell check option and then select the proper spelling using the built in SDP spell check, it will then automatically insert an extra space after the word you have just corrected. It's nothing major, just a minor annoyance as I then have to go and delete several spaces. Does anyone else have the same issues?

New request template
I am looking to create a new request template which will be used as a checklist to build machines. We build machines specific to our own machine build notes, step-by-step. What would be the best way to have this in the call, either a checklist within the call log description or have tasks assigned to the templates that you need to complete before the call can be closed down? An example of our documentation that we have at the moment is attached below for reference. Your thoughts on this would help

I am looking for a report that can pickup on various trends, say the top 10 call requests being logged, is there a report that can do this, if so could you give the mysql query for it thanks.

server perfomance history missing
I have a managed server , build 8100 . It fails to show cpu , memory and disk for any server . I still get information on switches and other monitors such as oracle. I have shut the server down and repaired the database . then restarted but no difference . please advise best regards Lee
Feature needed in Tasks within Requests
I was experimenting with the built-in request template of, "New employee joining the organization". I noticed 4 tasks are automatically created when you use this template. Those tasks are: - Setting up email address - Entry in Active directory - Setting up user computer - Setting up user location There is a significant feature needed in this "tasking" process. Given this specific example, this is a type of request where these four tasks might be performed by different GROUPS within an IT organization.

apostrophes in email addresses
One of out clients has an employee with an apostrophe in his name and therefore in his email address. (Bob O'Brian for example) When this email arrived for Support Center to pick up an error was receieved and the request was not created. An apostrophe is a valid character in email addresses (Although it really shouldn't be :)) I can add a contact with an email address with an apostrophe. But Support Center just doesn't like it when creating the request from an email. Is there any chance this can
v8 get very little websphere v6 data - only respnse time
Using Manage Engine v8 professional eval version. I have set up PMI (perfservletApp)on some wpshere 6 app servers on our webshpere server. The only info get data for is response time though. Network view not created
Hi, When I add a device via add device in the admin tab the info returned is device added successfully. However, the network view is not created. Also, when I try to add another device or a new device, I will get the error "Entries for the device are either partially added or removed.Click [here...] to remove and readd the device". Delete Survey Results
How can I delete survey results? I mistakenly had the "good" ratings towards the top of the list. So now if they give a good rating; we get a low score. I fixed this but want to delete the old survey results. Please advise
Cannot Change Device Category from DomainController
I am using the free version of OpManager 7 (7025). After adding a device (Windows Server) I changed the Category from Server to DomainController. When I tried to open its SnapShot window I received this error message: "Active Directory Monitoring Add On Feature is not licensed." The SnapShot was not performed. I want to change the Category back to "Server" but there is no way to do it. If I delete the device and add it again, it is added into the Category "DomainControllers". How can I get it out

Having problems with a custom query report
I am trying to create a custom query report so that on a daily/weekly and monthly basis every technician and the manager get the report to see what work they have achieved on that day/week/month. I want to include calls that they have closed in that timeframe and also calls that they have just made notes on and logged a work log against every request. ColdStart Events
What is the difference between the following events? ColdStart : SERVERNAME.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.3 ColdStart : null The events are from different servers. The ColdStart : null event seems to happen all the time on that server, but the computer is on a battery backup and is able to be pinged. Alerting for that computer is every one minute but I never get an alert that the server is down. Any idea what's going on?
Netflow on GRE Tunnel Problem
Are there any issues with Netflow running across a GRE Tunnel? I'm checking out various netflow products - trying out ManageEngine and on a Tunnel there is gap in the data. Interface doesn't stay deleted
I have a Fastethernet interface with flow enabled I removed the unwanted interface using the License Manage feature It reappears daily. How can I remove this permanently? Hi, Why do my snmp monitors for disk space always have the wording "Serial number xxxxx" on the end of it? Custom View's problem
I have a problem with the view, I need a view with my tickets (open, on hold, ...) so all my ticket's non closed. In addition, I need to see all unassigned ticket on the same view. But I don't found the solution. Anybody can help me????? I tried to put a request like this : Request status is not 'closed' and technician is 'me' and 'none' and only my non closed ticket's is showing.
A link to the original request should be present in reminders, tasks and notes
When recieving a note, reminder or task related to a request a link to the request should be present to allow the support rep to directly access the details of the request. There may be a need for this to optional depending on who it goes to, but not based on the way my company uses SupportCentre.
