Group computer by IP
It would be helpful to be able to list or sort computers by IP number. For example, I have one domain with several subnets -- each location is a separate subnet. It would be helpful if I could group each location by IP - especially when rolling out new software and patches.
Service account for OpManager services?
Right now my OpManager services are running as Local System. Is there any way to change this to run as a domain service account? For example, I'd like to make a domain account called SvcOpManager, then set the Manageengine OpManager services to run as that account. Is it as simple as that, or are there any hooks within the application that will have issues with that?
Enterprise Software Licensing
When I create a license for an Enterprise software, for instance 250 count, but it has just one license key, it creates 250 entries of that license, each with a number at the end such as below and in my attachment. Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003-3288 Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003-3289 Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003-3290 etc. until it lists an entry for all 250. If they are an enterprise license, it's just one license. Having it listed 250 times (or however many)
Error when deleting Workstations in SD7.015
When I try to delete some obsolete workstations in SD 7.015 I receive this error FAILURE :Problem while deleting workstations. Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the Error Code - 1.212.060.311.054. What might be the problem?? regards

Business Rules on Site are not working in SDP
Business Rules are not working when the rule is configured to look at the 'Site' option. I have assigned 'Site' to each department and each user has been included in the relevant site. It is also possible to run the run base on Region? Anyone else see this or have tested this?
"Urgent" Unable to start OPmanager
The SQL server was rebooted yesterday without OPmanager server being shutdown, and since then OPmanager has no been able to start. I tried starting the service manually, but that didn't work either. Any help will be appreciated.
Availability, distribution and Top N displays blank
For some reason the displays on the web client for the Availability, distribution and Top N are blank with a little X in the upper left corner. recently updated to 7.1.sp3, have tried a sp un/reinstall and reboot and restarting services etc... to no avail any idea?
Why IP instead of hostname is shown at hostname column?
At Inventory > All Devices > Host Name column, IP addresses are shown. How can I change it to device's hostname automatically? I don't want change it one by one manually at "edit properties". SNMP & password credential are provided and configurations are backup successfully.
hierarchical QoS policy map support for CBQOS
i have a following policy map. policy-map QOS class GOLD bandwidth 3000 class BRONZE bandwidth 1000 class BULK bandwidth 500 shape average 4800000 service-policy SCAVENGER class class-default bandwidth 2500 random-detect dscp-based interface FastEthernet 0/1 service-policy output QOS when i used NF Prof v7 beta to discover the CBQOS, it always gives me the inner policy map (SCAVENGER) as the OUTPUT policy, instead of QOS. looks like a bug.
Cancelling a running scan
Is there a way to stop a currently running scheduled scan? Had a scheduled domain scan kick off earlier and I need to stop it, if I look in Asset Management - Windows Domain Scan it tels me the scan is in progress but there does not seem to be a way of stopping it. Have bounced the box SDPlus is running on but the scan just recommences after the reboot
E-mail to 3rd parties
Can ServiceDesk send e-mail to 3rd parties? Whenever someone external to our domain submits a fault, an e-mail address is entered against the request, but no e-mail notification is despatched. Similarly, any attempts to e-mail people not on the domain results in a failure.

IP Group Speed in bps ?
hi i want to be sure my calculation for the IP Group Speed field is correct. i noticed that the default is 1000000 which seems misleading. i have a 3Mb pipe, so i'm assuming i calculate this as 1024 x 1024 x 3 = 3145728. please let me know and thanks. also, regarding which interface of an IP Group to monitor, my assumption is that since i am trying to understand WAN bandwidth utilitzation i should always monitor the WAN interface. please explain if this is not the case.
No data available when report filters used
I'm having trouble filtering specific log data from my reports. I am specifying one server only. When I choose to view all logs, the report generates correctly with many pages of data. When I uncheck the column 'Information' however, the same report does not return any data at all, even although there are several error and other types of entry that I should see. Error scanning workstation - Multiple NICs and Memory..
I have 1 workstation which is refusing to scan now, giving me the error message Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the Error Code - 1,211,620,222,732. Of special note about the workstation is it is currently reporting approx 332 memory slots and 100+ network cards installed. The memory is just repeats of the real installed, so a system rom and 2 Dimms, repeated over and over again. The NIC is the same MAC address and IP over and over again. Will it be simply (!!!) a case
Total traffic per IP IN+OUT
It could be that i just haven't looked in the right place, but while testing the NFA 7 beta version I couldn't find an overview that tells me how much bytes 1 IP has send and received in total. There are separate tables that we can manually add up to each other to get the result (bytes IN/OUT), but one table telling us per IP how much data it has send and received would be great. Even better if you can filter on that table by protocol, so that you can see per IP all the data received/sended based
smtp mail server config

manageEngine service continually shuts down
On my Test environment I have just restored the latest backup copy form Production, however now when I go to start the service in my Test environment, it runs through the process, then when I refresh services it shows as stopped, I have changed the properties of the service to manual, automatic and even disabled and re-enabled with no luck?? I have just restarted the machine, but still no luck. Help me

Rename standard change?
At my company, only one type of change does not require manager approval, and we call it "production down". The "standard" change type in SD+ does not require approval, which is a bit of a problem for us. Is ther a way to modify the database to change the name "standard" to "production down"?
Missed polls
Assuming there's no way to do this and I just haven't found it yet, would it be possible to get the missed device poll alert settings changed from a dropdown allowing you to choose from 1, 3, and 5 missed polls to either a dropdown with more options or a text box where you can input an integer value to alert on?
Strange behavior - change approval
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this behavior - if you approve a change, a pop-up box allows you to record details for the approval, and a save button lets you save the approval. However, this box does not disappear after saving, although the details *are* recorded. If you close the box manually, the change approval tab does not show it being approved until the page is refreshed. Is this by design?

User cannot see submitted requests
I have a user who cannot see the requests that he has logged in ServiceDesk Plus (v7.0.0, Build 7015). He is using his AD account as login. He receives all updates pertaining to his requests, but when he logs in, it shows 0 in all categories and he cannot look at the status of any pending requests. Any ideas?
Left hand arrowheads in notes are wrongly interpreted
Hi guys. We have asked for this to be fixed before, there appears to be a problem if you have a "<" in the notes filed. Anything on that line is not shown, this is causing a problem. A report from an email checking programme which contains < and > only shows the lines (and parts of lines) with > even though when you go to edit the note the < are plainly there. So in the following clip from a report the lines in red do not show on the notes when viewed in the job/request but do when you edit the note.

Service monitors not sending e-mail alarms
Hi, I'm using Opmanager MSP v6005, great prodcut, there's only one problem. The opmanager doesn't send e-mail alerts if a "Service monitor" is down. It only send mails if it is a "Windows Service Monitor" but that's not what i want. The notification profile for the devices are correctly configured (see attachment).
