Custom Template
Hello: I am adding new users to our system on a daily basis and have created a custom template to do so. However, I am constantly forgetting to select the "Choose Template" link to switch to my templete. Is there any way to make this custom template also the Default template? thanks for any help you guys can provide. Jamie.
password complexity for Users
If an User will reset the password. He see that "The password complexity property is enabled" A User dont know what its an "password complexity". If complexity is required, then must the screen help him. If the password does not meet the requirements, then it must be explained again what a complex password in The Error Message. Windows Computers do that also.
Technician - view all in Department
Hi team, I seem to have an issue with viewing all Requests for a Department. I have created a new role with Add, view, edit permissions for requests. Then ticked the box "Requests technician is allowed to view: All in group & assigned to him" I have created a Technician and assigned this role to them. When the tech logs in they cannot see all requests for the group. They see all their own requests, any assigned to them...and a few of the others from their department. But not all of them. Any ideas?
Different SLA's for different accounts possible?

Receiving error - Error Code 80072030
While creating users in AD manager I have started getting the following errors. Error Code 80072030 : Error In Setting Attributes,There is no such object on the server and Error Code b7 : Error in Creating Profile Path Cannot create a file when that file already exists The user object is created in Active Directory in our domain as well as the home drive and permissioned accordingly with the new user. What is not happening is there is absolutely no detail in the user object barring a few entries

External penetration test for customer portal

Error upgrading from 7012 to 7018
I am trying to upgrade from 7012 to 7018 and its not completed successfully after that the service desk is not starting also. How do I delete a monitor?
This is much harder then it seems. Using the built in "Partition Details of the Device (%)" monitor that comes with OpManager. I know OpManager has problems with the + symbol in names. One of our mounts has a + in it. That mount is detected and monitored by OpManager. I need to delete it, but OpManager is un able to delete that monitor, no matter how many times I delete it. OpManager always returns "Graph deleted successfully" When I can see that it is still there and not delete, and I get the following
Additional purchase order step called Order
It would be nice to have an additional step added to the purchase order module called order(or to that nature). It would also be nice if we could select users to notify to order the products in the purchase order. And then an order submitted would be nice in there as well so that we know that someone on our purchasing team has placed the order. Thanks -D
Technicians details change very few days
We're running version 7.0.0.0 Build 7008 on Windows 2003 SE SP2 Every few days after a standard reboot a couple of the 10 technicians details revert to old settings, thou this can be changed back once discovered it seems completely random and only every effects two technicians and two parts of the details, one is name and the other email address. Anyone got any idea why this happens I'm baffled by it. Regards Matthew

Build 7018 - Purchase Order Numbering with Multiple Techs
Found this morning that the automatic numbering of purchase orders is specific to each technician. I set the default value to start numbering at IT-00012. It did it for me only and reset itself back to 1 for the next tech that started to create a PO. Now when I look at the default start value, it's set at 1 instead of IT-00012. This is going to be a big problem going forward.... Any chance we can get this fixed asap?? Tony

Software Catagories
When classifying software that has been scanned on user workstations you can change the catagory to Database, development, operating system, game, graphics, etc...... Is there anyway to edit that list. I have yet to be able to find a way to do it. Games dont really apply and neither does multimedia in my envirment. Incidentally the "Software Type" would also be nice to edit, it currently has managed, freeware, shareware etc...... Thanks for any help you can give.

This page contains both secure and nonsecure items
Hi, We run our site through a secure http connection and have noticed that when some requests load a prompt appears informing that "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items". The only way to load the request is to click 'yes' or 'no' when asked whether to display the nonsecure items. A quick check online suggests that this is due to http (rather than https) references within the page, most probably fully-qualified image references. There is a work-around of changing a setting in IE but

Until Applications Manager work like trial version it is ok, but when I registered the license file, I'm getting this when trying to go into alerts:[Exception in:/webclient/common/jsp/TabComponent.jsp] null Applications Manager was installed on SLES 10 SP1, but if I installed Applications Manager on ASP Linux 11.2 I don't have any problem.

Cluster Resource monitoring
Is is possible to monitor a windows cluster resource of type File share?? I have a two servers setup in a cluster via Active/Passive mode. My active cluster node blue screened and rebooted causing the cluster resources to fail over to the passive node. Can Appmanager somehow monitor for this activity when a failover occurs and generate and email based on this???? Damian
