Generating Rogue Detection Reports
Can we do something different with the way that Rogue Detection generates reports. Pretty much every current format is worthless. The PDF version has very large fonts and is only able to fit 2 or so entries per page - Columns need to be widened for descriptions. None of the export formats CSV, etc contain any of the port information. Please look at and address. Thanks in advance.
Help needed: Which tool to use?
G'day people, I chanced upon this forum (thru' web search) when I was looking for a tool to monitor what I'll describe immediately following: I would like to monitor for a change in IP and get an email alert. Specifically, I have a server running on a dynamic public IP; I'm aware of dynamic DNS services (which I'm using). My interest is that when the public IP changes, I would like to receive an email notification. Wud appreciate any kind advice as to which tool is most suited for my purpose. Thanks
Time Showing in Graphs
Dear Sir, I have installed Manage Engine OpUtils 5 on my pc. Everything is ok but the graphs showing in bandwidth is show time 2 hours ahead of actual time in my country. SNMPv3 for OpUtils
When will SNMPv3 be available for OpUtils. We have just finished taking out SNMP v1&v2 comm strings in all routers and switches. With this happening, Switch Port Mapper, Config File Manager (Tools I use the most) will not work any longer. Thanks Gene Geng
upload config from config file manager
I am attempting to upload a config using the "upload config file" option in the upper right corner of the Config File Manager main page. I saved the config from the device, using the oputils .config file type. I opened it in wordpad, edited 2 lines, and saved it back to my desktop. I attempted to upload it using the "upload to single device" tab. it appears to do nothing when I click on the upload tab. I also attempted it from the "upload to multiple devices" tab but only sending it to one device.
Config File Schedule Hourly
It would be extremely beneficial to have the schedule for Config File backups allow hourly backups. Also, how many backup configurations are kept before they are overwritten, if at all. Thanks, Earl

(e.g: availability report based on business view not working now) Upon AdventNet's advice we are considering moving to enterprise edition. this is relatively a new product and we would like to know user experience with it. Is there any customers in this forum using the enterprise edition already? and what are your impressions on this

Restart supportcenter
Hello, I was just wondering if more of you guys out there often have problems with supportcenter. I think at least once in each 2 days the system stops (and we get a tomcat error). Then we need to stop and start the service again. Is this just a problem we have or do others also have that issue? Kind regards, Jarry

SDP reclassifying workstations as servers
Hi on Build 7503. Some assets are failing to get reclassified as servers. The new resource categories include 'servers' but I am having difficulty moving 'servers' from the old default to the new 'server' catagory. Can anyone explain how to do this. I have set Model 'Dell Poweredge 860' as server. selected the asset and clicked action ' change as server/s' but the asset remains in 'workstations' after refresh. philw

Viewing calls you shouldn't
I have the group security set up in SD+ so that groups can only see what is in their group or assigned to them (ie, not everything). However, if you send a link to a call, anyone can see it, even if it is not in their group. Does anyone know how to stop this? We are using 7.0.0 build 7.2.0. Thanks

SNMP OID being added as MBean
I am trying to use Applications Manager to pull some performance data out of our F5 load balancer, but when I try to add the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.2.5.4.3.1.11.5.76.79.71.73.78.1.4.10.100.3.13.8080, Applications Manager registers it as an MBean and is then not able to pull data. (You can see the attached screen shot for more detail.) - Testing the above OID with net-snmp shows that it is a valid OID and returns data. - The appropriate MIB has been loaded into Applications Manager via the Add MIB

I got this message when i tried to access my newly defined server "Unable to fetch Managed Object details for the object : servername". How can i delete it manually and have it re-defined again. how this could happen. OP7 version is 7200.. Hope to receive reply as soon as possible. thanks..
Requestor Site Field Update
Active Directory imports do not seem to be updating people who have changed Sites. We have recently moved and office, which changed the Site name and the Phone for each of the employees. None of these employees have updated Site or Phone information in Service Desk even after a successful manual import. Is this a known/fixable issue? -gjaynes

Modify Purchase Order form
I would like to be able to modify the Purchase Order form to include SKU number and manufacturer info on a per line item basis. The simplest way would appear to be to allow the addition of customizable columns to the product details section. We purchase from distributors that use SKU numbers in addition to manufacturer part numbers. Also, one purchase order to any given vendor/distributor may contain parts from many different manufacturers.
ServicedeskPlus 7.5 on a shared App server
Hello, I'll be installing the new version of Servicedesk Plus to a shared application server that has an existing MSDE database. What I need to check is to see if there are any conflicts with the Mysql ServicedeskPlus 7.5 uses and existing MSDE installations. I want to make sure I don't inadvertently cripple the existing MSDE db that exists on the shared app server. Creating customised reports
Hi From the Reports tab, I can create the standard reports (Volumes with least free space, servers disk usage report etc), but what I'd like to be able to do is define my own reports. For example rather than producing a report showing volumes with the least free space (which currently gives it in MB), I'd like to create a report showing volumes with the least percentage free space, as this is of far more value to me than in MB. Is there a way to do this, either within OpManager, or by creating xml

SSH and HTTPS for tools
I have just upgraded to opmanager 8 and have a question. I there any way to change the tools icon for telnet on the snapshot page to use SSH when using telnet and the browse icon for HTTP to use HTTPS? As always thanks for any and all help.

Hello, I'm trying an evaluation Firewall Analyzer 5 with Fortigate 200A Configuration in Fortigate minimum log Information facility local7 and in rule I have checked Registry Traffic, in Profile protection all logging checked. My problem -> In Analyzer, graph traffic by user : No Data Found but in Traffic Trend Reports working hour and non working hour is OK. Is not possible view Working Hours by user??? Thanks! :-D

Minimum MySQL permissions?
What are the minimum permissions that must be assigned to a MySQL user for use by AppManager in a MySQL monitor? The documentation makes the suggestion to use "GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES..." but that is entirely out of the question (and is an incredibly irresponsible recommendation to make to novice users).
view requests in "MULTIPLE" departments
Is there the possibility or currently the ability to allow a user to see requests in more than one department. For instance. We have our head of Engineering and we would like him to see all of engineering requests and also all of Customer Services requests as they report to him also. Thanks J

Hello, Could you tell me if it's possible to view the table view (and other views) without the applications manager menus along the top and the side in the same way as the plasma view? Change product from Asset to Component
Recently a technician had assigned a monitor as a Workstation when entering the product into a Purchase Order. When that purchase order was approved and closed, it created the monitor as a Workstation--which is now using one of our Asset licenses. I've already changed the monitor to be a component, not a workstation, in the Products section in the Admin tab. However, the monitor continues to reside as a Workstation. In addition, it now shows in the Components section, but opening it just redirects
