hello, Since migration of application manager to 8.6 version, the abnormal behavior is the following : Normally severity for health of Monitor group Depends on any "1" selected parameter. So when a monitor has a critical status, Monitor group status become critical and genrates an em-ail action. But in this case, when 3 monitors failed, monitor group generates 3 e-amil actions. However there is a normal behavior when status of monitors return to clear state : monitor group generates only one e-amil

AD and pass-through authentication
hello guys - i`ve succefully imported users from AD , and users can enter SD+ with their AD accounts. if i enable this feature - then nothing happens and systems promts for account as earlier. i`ve found similar posts and perform some recommendations below , but it did not help - tried different browsers - added SD+ server into trusted sites any ideas more? thanks!
Availability Status showing all devices down in Central Serv
HI All Im not get the availability status properly in the MSP Central Plus Server. Eventhough all the devices are up and the availability reports showing properly in Probe System at Customer location.But when i generate availabitity report from Central Server ,all devices are showing down. This issue stared from today morning.Communication between the Central Server to Probe is proper and we are getting alerts. Kindly suggest a solution.
Customize device snapshot view
Hey guys, Can the device snapshot view for windows xp devices be customized? I want to replace so of the real-time graphs displayed with different graphs, yet I see no way to do this. I'm sure I'm overlooking something. Can you help? James
Clear or purge all asset and workstation data?
We have a mixture of manually entered Asset Data and Scanned Workstation data in SDP 7.5, but it is all a mess from imports in previous versions and different naming schemes, etc. I was wondering if there is a way to clear all the Asset / Workstation data without affecting the incidents/problems and changes. I'm not fussed if old jobs do not link properly to workstations, as it is at the moment they are mostly broken or linked to the wrong workstation.
Unable to add Backround Image to Business View
Hi, i am trying to add a custom Backround image to one of my business view,i have created it in both .png and jpg format but i can only ever see the default Map backrounds when i edit a business view. false positives (CPU% monitoring sustained high)
Is it possible to monitor the CPU % over 3 pulls and if is high on all pulls alert us, if it is high only on the first & second pull and then low on the 3rd don't alert us. We have an app that consistently caused the CPU to go up and down so we are getting several false positives each day.

OpManager 8 startup issues due to McAfee Virus scan
Hi All, If you are have OpManager 8 with McAfee running on the same server, then you will face some issues with starting OpManager, because McAfee doesn't allow MySQL to start. A simple way to fix would be to disable McAfee during startup and once OpManager starts, you can enable McAfee and exclude the OpManager folder from scanning. Can an Alarm Message be Customized
I'd like to customize the Alarm messages to include additional information for the technicians. I see variables such as $MONITOR and $UNITS but I can't find a listing of these variables in the documentation. Can any text be entered into the Alarm Message text box? Software still showing installed
I am having an issue with the software scanning tool. I myself have uninstalled the software from these machines and it is showing in the "Audit History Trail" as unsinstalled but when I search the software it is still showing as being installed on that workstations. Do I need to unallocate the licence from the machine aswell?
Reports not generated
I have imported 2 different device logs into the FA, but report is generated only for the 1st device log. For the 2nd device log, no report is generated. The logs are imported successfully and I can view the raw log data. Need advice, thanks.

remote control in Asset Management
Hi Again, When I saw the new functionality of Remote Control in Asset Management, I nearly fell of my chair in excitment. error - with view request details
i have list of requests on page - mydomen/WOListView.do i want view addition details of reques and clicking on request with number 900, and instead this opening request details with number 901 (next number). for resolve this problem i delete part of URL. Like this - mydomen/WorkOrder.do?woMode=viewWO&woID=900&&fromListView=true - in this URL i deleting - &&fromListView=true and after that opening request details for 900 number. what can i do?

After install can't display login window
Hello I have a problem reaching to the "login" page. I've just installed FA to the brand new CentOS environment. The service firewallanalyzer is up and running and port 8500 is wide open. But i can't display login window. This installation is for the production use and I've tested same thing in my evaluation server and works great... I've tried everything I could do,,but still can't display login page. Please help! Justin
Incorrect reporting
We have a w2k3 server that shows as being available in a report (green circle w/the up arrow), however, the Health shows as down (red circle). The message is: Resource is down. Health is critical as the resource is not available The report runs off the management server. If run off the server the monitor is on, it shows the Health correctly. We need to have it show correctly from the management server for daily reporting.

Loading new MIBS
Hi All, We have a IBM3310 Tape Library which we would like to monitor through OpManager. I opened up a support call with IBM for the MIBS and they could only provide the MIBS in a documented pdf. I can snmpwalk the device and the documentation appears correct. How is it possible to get these into OpManager please? Cheers Chris
Self-service with other HD roles
Our service center has been given the following rights, Reset Password and Unlock accounts. They do not have the ability, though, to modify their own information via the Self-Service portal unless I create separate domain accounts for them. I tried to add the options to update their address, etc, but this gives them the right over all users and I don't want them to be able to change everyone. Aside from creating separate user accounts, is there a work around where they can only update their own accounts

Last Updated in Request Details?
Am I just missing it or is there no field in the Request Details to tell when a request was last updated, and that you can only determined last updated by adding that column to a Request Filter/View? This seems odd to me. "Details" should mean just that...DETAILS. When viewing a request there should be a plethora of information about the ticket on this screen.

Can not start admin server
Hello support, Application manager, professionnel edition, version 8.6, is installed on a standalone integration server (Windows 2003 server).
