External Vendor gets blank screen after login
We are on 7015. AD pass-through works for all users belonging to our domain. We have several contractors which need to remotely access our ticketing system. They have accounts in our AD, but are working externally on their own machines belonging to their own domain. When they VPN and attempt to logon, they are entering our domain credential into the logon screen and are then getting a blank screen. Domain users have had no issue logging on through VPN. How can I view task history?
Currently, to my surprise, Tasks for a Change do not get logged into the History tab. Is there an easy query to view the history of tasks? I am interested to view whether the time/activity logged within the task is reflective of the actual time that the activity in the task was recorded. Future feature: Add task history to the History tab.

Linux Push Script
Quick question. I was poking around and unable to find anything very easily. I was curious if anyone has previously looked into writing a script that would push information from a linux host much like the ae_script pushes information from a Windows based box. Anyone write one? or is there possibly one in the works?
Has anyone written reports to compare ServiceDesk Plus CMDB info with AD/IIS and other tools?
I am using a number of tools that need to know about assets on the network including but not limited to AD/IIS, SolarWinds NCM & NPM, and IDS/IDP tools. We have most of our assets in SDP (routers, switches, workstations, servers, etc) and I want to follow good ITIL practice and use the SD CMDB as the authoritative source of data for all of the other tools. email won't show up on the correct request.....
I have a question in regard to the way that email should work. We do have SCP version 7.0.0 build 7016 and when a contact send us a request by email, the system will send contact an email with the request id. If a contact would like to send us more info in regard to the same request, how can he or she send us a reply and it will go into the same request instead of generating a new request id for him or her. Different values between "Test monitor" and MIB Browser
Hi! I have a problem that I've never seen before. I have added some custom monitors (about one year ago). They worked fine. Yesterday I controlled them and found out that values aren't correct any more. Immediately I checked it by using your MIB Browser (the same device, the same credentials, the same OID). Then I've got values as expected (but completely different form the values returned from the custom monitor). What is wrong with this monitor? I'm adding two screenshots here so that you can see
EFI Fiery Xerox DocuColor 242
We are having trouble with printer monitoring with our Xerox DocuColor D242. it has a built in EFI Fiery. when we setup the monitoing the supply levels seam to report totaly randomly. one second it shows a toner level at 10% then it jumps to 50% then down to 3% then up to 1200%. it will do this for all supplys on the printer. any advice?
[BUG] Data files size chart for MS SQL databases
On the chart that comes up for file sizes for databases it shows the correct size on the left but under the chart the Min Max Ave and 9thPercentile numbers show something like 2.14748364737 for the size. It looks like it must be using a 32bit integer counter and cannot handle large numbers over the 2.1+ billion limit. Does the chart use an internal 32bit counter or does it use what the device shows for the counter type?
Network View Issue
I added two of our switchs... and went to network view.. it shows 23 of our networks..... the x.20.x.x subnet has links to what the core router is located but for our x.17.x.x network it shows this green link that goes off the top left of the page into the great abyss -- Is there a way to refresh or redraw that network map? I have tried to restart the app and refresh the browser cache. Thanks,

syslogs from routers
Hi, As a part of my router configuration, I would like to receive syslogs from the router and view them. I have it configured on the router side, however when i view in syslog viewer I do not see anything. Can I see these syslogs on the device snapshot page too. Is there anyway to do this. ServiceDesk Java High CPU utilization
When DB is MS SQL - Java.exe utilize about 70-100% of CPU. Switch back to MySQL turns a normal CPU utilization - 1-5%. It is a feature by default? I tried it on different OS (WinXP, W2k3 Standard, Enterprise) and is always the same. I want to use MS SQL but I don't like such a high CPU usage.

Hi, for some time I tried to make this area to present or show some data but I quite don't know where or how to. Attached is the image of the seccion I'm talkig about. Trying to run a manual DB backup using "backupdata.bat" - Job starts then stops at 50%, java.exe then goes through the roof at 99% CPU.

Change port number - Snapshot page
Is there a way (on the device snapshot page) to change the port number that is associated with the "browse to" icon in the Tools. For example, if I use the icon from the snapshot page of one of our devices, the URL goes to http://<ipaddress>;. What we would like ideally, is to be able to change the port number on the URL to http://<ipaddress>:<port_number>;. We would like to be able to do this per device not as a global setting. Is this possible? If not, can you consider it as a feature request?
No Out Traffic on Nortel ERS 5510
Hi, I have a number of Nortel ERS 5520 switches which are capabile of ipfix. I have all the interfaces managed includeding those not active and i have enable flows on all ports including the trunk ports. I am aware that this is required if you want Netflow Analyser to show the out traffic on an interface. Dispite having this in place i cannot see any out traffic on any interface, is there something i am missing? Anyone have the same issue?
Adding the SQL Monitor to multiple servers
I have about 45 SQL servers I need to monitor. Is there a way I can add the SQL Monitor for all instances to every server at one time or must I go into each server and click the Add Monitor button and manually configure the monitor for each SQL instance? I would ask the same question about the Exchange Monitor since I also have 10 Exchange servers. They all run Exchange 2003 SP2 and could authenticate against the same DC. Can I build a template and apply it to all of them?

We are having the issue where a remote office router is down, the servicing ISP reroutes the ping to an alternate (fake) IP but OpManager is not showing site (router) as down. In the ping we get a 'TTL expired in Transit' error. Any ideas on how we can get OpManager to see that the IP being returned on the ping is not the destination IP?

Old hyperlink showing up in notifications
I changed the path to the SDP portal, and then went into all of the notification templates and changed the hyperlinks to make sure they point to the correct place. However, it is still sometimes putting the old link in there (which goes nowhere now; causing the user to contact me about the link). What's up with that?

Errors encountered evaluating NCM and Netflow plug-in on OpManager 8022
Dear Support Team, I am running registered OpManager 8022 and had installed NCM and Netflow plug-in. When I click on the NCM link on the top-right corner, it will direct back to the OpManager login page. As for Netflow, I cant find any link from anywhere to invoke netflow. Changeing Contracts with Support Services
We are offering different products, and each Product has a different Warranty period. So to make this clear: Product1 has Warranty of 12 month. Product2 has Warranty of 18 month. More is that Product1 has a resolution time of 5 days, and Product2 is 1 day. But changing the product doesn’t change the Contract, which would be great so that we can see whether it has any changes, or is expired. The resolution time we can change according to the Sub Category, but it should be able to change the product
