I’m having some problems with ADSelfService Plus so I need your help. I upgraded to 4.4 and now when users click on the Reset\Unlock Account button on the Windows login screen, a message appears saying “Problem in Connecting with ADSelfService Plus server” Therefore, users cannot unlock their account or reset their password from the Windows login screen. failed upgrade
hi, I was going to upgrade from 7002 to 7500 and did so by installing the binary instead of applying the service-pack. as a result I've got a corrupted system and I'm not able to restore anything and the version number is unknown. I've tried to reinstall the 7002 version and also removing/reinstalling the servicepacks I also am not able to restore from the backup. is there anything I can do or do I need to start from scratch?

I have 2 Firewall (Cisco ASA and Cybetr Roam) I have download the Firewall Analyzer trail version and installed on Windows 2003 Server and it is working fine.I am getting all logs of Firewall.I just want to know how can I get logs of Windows Servers.( 5 Win Server 2003) I know EventLog Analyzer serve I requirement but I do not want to use 2 products. Frustration...
Hi, OpManager is a fantastic product...when it works. For some reason, today i can't monitor AD or Exchange. Most of the AD monitors report N/A and when i test the monitor, it tells me it isn't responding. This has happened a few times now and i usually have to stop and start the services on the OpManager server. As i said, OpManager is good but it's annoying when it just stops monitoring. Nothing has changed on our servers so it must be down to OpManager. Can anybody advice please?? Matt H
Access Denied on Server 2008 box
Hi, I am having an issue where I get an access denied when connecting to the local machine that web analyzer is running on. I have tried connecting with no user name and password (because I am connecting localhost with no joy). I have run the wbemtest tool and can connect with no errors without using any login details.. When I run the query Select * from Win32_NTLogEvent from the event logs are pulled in fine. However I still get access denied from the add host screen. Please help.
Too much notifications for technicians
Hello, Our technicians complaint to current SD notification mechanism. The main reason of the issue is that SD sends the alerts even if it was not necessary. For example when technician assigned the requests to himself he always getting alerts. Why does he need to get an alert if it was actually he who has assign the request? My Regards, Vlad

hi i have many printers and routers listed in the asset section of service desk plus 7509 i added a network scan and it detected the routers and printers using SNMP but i now have duplicates 1) the original asset (5417 - Printer01) 2) the newly scanned asset (Printer01) i tried to resolve this buy removing the newly scanned asset but renaming the original asset 5417 - Printer01 to Printer01) but when i next tried to do a scan a failure occured on this particular asset I have the same issue with

I purchased Eventlog Analyzer for mostly for simple reporting and compliance options however I am not seeing any logon events around our Terminal Services sessions. This is the vast majority of our users and really is what we need the most auditing of is this possible with Eventlog Analyzer?
Closing multiple requests without notification
I am trialling Support Centre. Is there a facility to select more than 1 request and "close without notification"? I can only see the "close" button in list view. e.g. do a search for all requests open by a particular customer and close them all at once - without notifiying them.

Hello, We are using Opmanager Enterprise. At this time we are looking for a way to monitor the alerts of Dell OpenManage from our Dell servers. What is the best way to do this? For example, if a disk in a raid-set dies the Dell OpenManage alerts show that a disk has gone offline. The alert we want to appear in Opmanager as a critical alert and link an alertprofile to it, so we receive a sms also. We would appreciate any best practices... Thanks in advance!
Deleting an attached file
Hi, When I try to delete a file from a request, I click in the delete button (like an "x" beside the attached name) and the file "disappear" from the request page. So, I update the request with the button with the same name and, when the request appears again, I can see the same file that I have deleted in the request.Am I doing something wrong or it's a system bug? Hi, In Opmanager 8022 I created new monitor for a printer - prtMarkerLifeCount (from Printer-MIB - .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.10.2.1.4) and added this monitor to my printer. Through MIB-Browser I see how many pages have been printed on the printer (see 2 pic in attachments), but I do not receive this number through Device Details the printer (see 1 pic in attachments). Problems with windows server 2008
Hi, everybody. In these days I tried to insert a window`s monitor, but when I clic in "add monitor" the application manager show me this error: Error # The object exporter specified was not found. We have an user and password to monitoring by WMI, the firewall is off, the PC`s that we want to monitoring are on line, the IP`s are responding, we have permissions to monitoring by WMI in our net. I don`t know if Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition has problems with the application manager. Thanks
Weird Proxy issue
When I want to access PMP from internet, when I do this I have a weird issue... PMP is accessed from the internet on HTTPS (443) and nat-ed to PMP-server on port 7272. I get the log on page, so far so good. Then when I try to log in it won't go any further and get eventually a time out. I see in the browser that it has problems with "j_security_check"... Now here is the odd thing: when I enable HTTP (80) and redirect it to the PMP-server, log in runs flawessly!!!! I really don't want to open HTTP

Wich port does remote control need for use on different domains. In our environment we have different domains which we use in the asset management module. I've made some changes on the firewall to make that happen. Now I would like to know which ports Remote control use so I can make I available true the firewall. Also, how do you use the CTRL+ALT+DELETE option in the Java remote session? I could only find the refresh button for the logon screen. But once I'm logged on this doesn't work anymore.

And now , I would like to disable the whole remote control feature of SDP, so our SD_Admins will not connect to ours servers unexpectedly. Flag being set after Password Reset
Hi, Ok, I'm trying to understand the behaviour of the Self Service when users change their password. Everyday, I have someone calling me saying that they were able to successfully change their password but they can't use it afterwards. Everytime I check their account the flag "User must change password at next logon" turns itself on. Why is ADSSP doing that? Is there anything I can do to keep the ADSSP from turning that on? It happens everytime you change your password. This ruins the password changing
