Our Opman stopped sending mail alerts a week ago. We have a SMS alternative monitor running on a separate server watching Opman Server & Process and MailFlow path - There was no issue at the time (or since) with any of the dependant systems.. Namely ..... Opman itself Server on which OpMan runs Switches MailServer Intenet everything on the mailflow path was and is working fine - OpMan just stopped processing mails. Number of printers mismatch
Hi, I have 4 printers to monitor. In my Dashboard I see, that I have 4 printers. When I open the printers page, I only see 3 of them. When I switch to the list view then 4 are visible. I use build 8721 of OPManager Greetings Jürgen

Can you help me with a mysql query for searching after all solutions that haven´t been updated the last 6 months or the last year. Unable to reassign a Request to a new Account
G'day, Occasionally we get requests that are assigned to the wrong Site/Account, either by accident or by the system. This also affects the "Requestor, but we have managed to work out how to change this. The issue is that there is NO way to change the Account for a Request. So that means that we are unable to run reports that accurately pickup the time logged against work orders. Rgds Ben
Parse Outlook email and create a ticket in SDP
Hi there, We receive service outage notifications from our various suppliers via email, and I would like to have outlook parse each of those emails and send that information to SDP to create a ticket. Each of the suppliers uses their own email templates. I am newbie at this, but maybe someone out there has experience with this and can assist? thank you
Exclude never logged on users in automated reports/robo requestor
We have used admanager for a couple of years. Why can't the automated/robo requestor for inactive user reports have the option to exclude never logged on users and exclude disabled users? The automated processes are pretty useless to me without it. I need this feature.
Daylight savings time has not changed
All the servers and PCs have rolled over to the correct time but Service Desk Plus is still reporting the time as being an hour behind which causes all preventitive maintenance tasks to be an hour late etc. We're using 7.6.0 Build 7608
User reply to a ticket response creates a new ticket
When a tech sends a reply to a ticket, and a user replies to that response via e-mail, it creates a new ticket rather than appending it to the original ticket. This has only started happening after upgrading to 8.0 Any way to fix? thanks

Agent Scanning in 8.0
Is there any benefit to installing the agent and using this feature other than what the note states about faster scans to capture only the differences? When I suggested this feature a couple of years ago it was to scan all exe files on a PC so we could search for malware or prohibited software that was not picked up as regular installed software, not in the registry. Also, does anyone know if once the agent is installed, and you click Scan Now from SDP, does this use the agent, or does it still use
Why the 'The network is not present or not started' message isn't appropriate in a specific situation?
Hi, I tried to copy a folder in a domain environment to several PCs' C:\Program Files folder, but received the above error message in Desktop Central about Win7 machines (on XPs was all fine). I tried everything about network and firewall without success. Checked the Workstation service status as well as it was suggested by Help. It was all OK, but the copying still not working. I thought it could be some kind of permission related issue. The domain user I used to log in was member of domain admins

Problem With FWAnalyzer
Hey guys, I have installed the firewall anlyzer 7, everything was working fine until the day yesterday, we found that the hard drive partition where the program is mounting procedures and had no storage capacity. Debugging information from that disk to free space. It left about 8 GB free, but still not after starting the Firewall Analyzer program. Reboot the server and processes, but still does not work, and even try to repair your tables through batch file "RepairTable.bat." Reviewing the file serverout.txt
MySQL Root password change
I am on build 6010. I need to change the MySQL DB password. what are the instructions to do that? When we will be going to build 6020 or above later, would we have a different set of instructions?
Duplicate Users
Are user accounts being created based on the E-mail ID and are these suddenly case sensitive? I am suddenly getting duplicate users being created (who have existing accounts in the system). This is going to become a nightmare to manage if this is the case! Further investigation into this would suggest that it is based on the username rather than the E-mail. Prior Version Download
I need to download the last version, prior to the latest hotfix. I think the build was 70108. I had my server die on me and all of my backups of data are from this version. I cannot find my executable for the prior version and anything I download now, tells me that my DB version is not compatible when I try to restore my DB. Is there somewhere I can download prior versions so I can restore my DB then update to the latest after a restore? Thanks, Kevin

Is it possible to customize the WAN agents to connect over ports 80 or 443 only? I have laptops in the field working behind very tight firewalls and they only have access to these ports. If it is possible, are there any directions?
I can not add roles
Hi, I am using build 7607 with IE 8 and Firefox 3.6.8 In the Admin-Tab when I want to add a new role, I click the save-button and nothing happens. The role is not created. Hi I've installed for testing NFA 8.6. There is currently one Cisco 6500 Catalyst which exports netflow in the version 7. NFA shows the interfaces and also the traffic (but not the correct ammount), but I get the error message Receiving Non V5 / Non V7 packets from the following devices:. For testing I hardconfigured the 6500 to netflow V5 and pushed the clear button in NFA. That removed the error message. Later I switched it back to V7 and I got the error again. ADManager ibdata1 data file too big
I have inherited AD Manager Plus which we have a corporate license for. The problem at the moment is that the ibdata1 mysql database is about 46Gb big and I would like to shrink this. From a AD Manager Plus point of view, what would be the best way to go about this? Shrinking the existing file or just start with a new databases? Thanks in advance for the help.

Deletion of Account does not remove sites or Requestors
G'day, When an account is deleted, it does not remove the associated sites nor does it remove any Requestors that are tied to these sites. While we can run the various MySQL queries to determine the orphan sites, and then run the query to work out which requestors etc are affected, this is clearly not the way it should be done as there are probably other items in teh database that are also not cleaned up properly. Can you please provide a supported SQL query that will purge the database of any orphan
Linking Desktop Central to SDP
We have just added Desktop Central to our IT department, and I'm attempting to get it linked to SDP. According to the instructions in Desktop Central for generating an authentication key, I should be seeing in option under the SDP Admin tab for Desktop Central. However, under the "General" section, all I have for options are Self-Service Portal Settings, Backup Scheduling, Data Archiving, and API. Request ID changes when splitting
I'm not sure I'd even call this bug, but I've noticed this in Service Desk version 8. Let's say a request comes in with ID #2. and you want to Merge it with ID #1. The request gets merged but then you decide later you have to split it again. This time after you split it, it now has request ID #3. In prior versions it would keep the same ID. Not really an issue but curious. Eric

Unassigned Workstation and Workstation Scanned Count is incorrect
Under the Scan Summary section of the Assets tab the "Unassigned Workstations" = 29 but when I click on it I only see 6 listed. I've changed the filters and can't figure out where the remaining 23 computers are. ajax error when adding software license
Installed SD 8.0.0 Build 8000 with MS-SQL 2005 When I create a new License Agreement, I fill in all needed fields but when I click the "Add New licenses and associate" button the license window opens. Assign a Problem to a Group rather than technician
Any chance the Problem module can get a small change to match request module, that of being able to assign the work to a group and/or technician rather than just a technician. Suppose same goes for a Change as well, but my immediate issue is with problem management and allowing queue of work to be built up from some legacy issues that are have been migrated in as Incidents but are really Problems and want to get them out of the daily work queues and into the Problem queue for investigation and resolution.
