Resolving internal DNS Names
Has anyone been able to get Firewall Analyzer the ability to resolve internal dns computer names? I have set the Intranet settings to our local subnet but i don't where you have the program query your internal dns server. Would be nice to also get usernames but one step at a time...
Problem with feeding custom data for computers
Hi, Yesterday, I inserted custom data for computers with "Feed custom data for computers" tool, but today, I have saw that it didn't change in all the computers. Now, I have done the same and now it's all right. It is possible that the problem were the turned off computers. Shouldn't update this information when the computers are going to turned on? Or when we work with "Feed custom data for computers" does it only works with computers that are turned on? Regards,

We have a database server that has been operational for some time. However, some of the databases have been dismounted. Appmanager now generates a critical alert for each of those database. How do I mark the databases as down or otherwise stop the alerts? Is it possible to rediscover the active databases without losing historical data?

Hi I am fairly new to using Desktop Central and I am seeing something that is potentially a bit odd. Our Desktop Central is set to automatically scan, download and apply updates, however a few machines seem to need updates which are marked as having an approve status of 'Not Approved' - what causes these to appear as not approved and why do they need to be pushed manually.

Error on Linux deleting device v5580
I started it up. Installed it... added a single device. did a config backup via ssh real quick... then i wanted to delete it. Errors out says it failed to delete. Generates this in the ncm0.txt .. and yes I've restarted the service... still same error. Dell switch sync config
I just installed DeviceExpert and added some of our Dell switches to it. When I try to run the Sync Configuration for one of the switches it fails and shows this in the status window: Entered into the enable login mode successfully. copy running-config startup-config Overwrite file [startup-config] ?[Yes/press any key for no].... It needs a 'y' keypress to make it work but it does seem that it's being sent. Is there a way to fix this?

I received countless email notifications that the Biztalk Group services on the Biztalk server were down followed by a clear message 1 min later, and then another down notification. The Biztalk services by necessity are configured to reconnect to the SQL server, should there be a disruption, every 1 minute. opmanager login keeps prompting "Please enter the user name" even though credentials are correct
we are using Opmanager 8 and when logging in with the correct credentials remotely (from a pc) the login page continues to prompt the user to "Please enter the user name", any ideas?

We often us the Reply to the Requester function to send an email to a requester. The From field in the mail is set to "no-reply@mydomain.com". Is it possible to configure ServiceDesk Plus such that when a requester replies to the email that the email is associated with the request?

Hi I have added our resources to Manage Engine Pro 6.4 and all or resources are in Default group. Now I have created groups and I want to remove all resource from default group to related groups. I have edited groups and select related resources. and when I select that groups all resource of that group to be displayed but all resource still are in default group also. Problems with AD Single Sign on/synchronisation
Hey i have a problem with 2 things: i have set up some AD Securtiy groups which contain several users. these groups should be imported into the PMP, in future i do now want to add each single new user to PMP, a scheduled task should import these groups (and so all users in the groups) every night. Continuous Redeployment of Configurations
I would like to set up continuous redeployment of configurations, but it seems that once a configuration has been executed, you have to modify it, then redeploy it. My end result is, I would like to deploy a shortcut to a certain group of users' desktops. If one of them should delete it, I would like for the shortcut to automatically reappear again. The same with software installs, if I have to reimage a computer, I would like to have all previously executed configurations redeploy automatically
Fetched e-mail mising attachements / body
When ServiceDesk Plus is fetching (via IMAP) voicemails from our phone system (*.wav in an e-mail) or external e-mails it drops the attachement or body. This has occurred since we upgraded our mail server to Exchange 2010 SP1 We have recently upgraded from 7605 to 8010 as recommended however the problem still persists. Please advise.

I wanted to trial the new version of manageengine but sadly the installation is not going well for me I've installed the application clicked on open web client but nothing happens I'm trying to use the mssql option.
