Can't search after load archive ???
I'm using EventLog ver 6.0, and I change database to use MS SQL Server R2. Some settings: - Enable Archiving - File creation Interval: 12 Hrs - Zip Creation Interval: 12 Hrs - Encrypt Archive Data: Disable - Archive Timestamping: Diable When I load any archived file, it's successfully but when I click load, one windows appears without anything, any information. The windows is empty. So how I can search old data ? Please help me fix it as soon as posible because my system will be audited

Dear Sir, The folders under <ELA Folder>\server\default\indexes used up all my disk space. I checked on the forum that they are raw logs and working with the DB. However, i am using the MSSQL as my DB. Would like to check whether i still need it? Regards, Vince

How to add an ESX server without VM Monitoring Add-on?
I am trying to add ESX servers to Opmanager (9200). When I add the ESX server using SNMP credentials, I receive this message: This device been monitored using SNMP, monitoring VMware ESX using SNMP is deprecated from this release. Any idea what "NSSendRequest has returned with error code is :10061" means? We've changed our SSL VPN and we're in the process of opening the required ports for the Desktop Central agent to communicate with the server. We've added every port we can think of but we're still receiving the above error when "applying configurations". Does this stand for something other than unable to contact the server?

Name Resolution for IPv6 addresses?
I have my edge router exporting both IPv4 & IPv6 flows (using flexible netflow...) to NetFlow Analyser (free version). Now that I have real IPv6 flows and more and more traffic is IPv6 I was hoping to get to see the DNS names of the destinations (and sources) but NetFlow Analyser 9.6 doesn't resolve any IPv6 addresses. This is the 64bit version of the software running on a Windows 2008R2 server that has IPv6 enabled - I am accessing the NetFlow Analyser web front end via IPv6. Any idea when this

Am currently playing around with a fresh Netflow Analyzer 9.5 install in attempt to get a feel of the new Appflow reporting capability. (Until we get a chance to upgrade our prod deployment). Has anyone managed to get this to work? That is, to point a Citrix Netscaler to do Appflow exports to NFA server and actually see anything useful? I am in the process of installing office 2010 using desktop central at remote locations over 10 MBPS link. VLAN Interfaces on Cisco ASA
Hi, I have a Cisco ASA running 8.2(1). There are vlan interface, but NetFlow Analyzer doesn't discover them. With snmpwalk i can see all interfaces. Interfacetype on the vlan interface is "l2vlan(135)" in the snmp output, not "ethernetCsmacd(6)" like the others. Maybe this is the problem? All other Interfaces are working well with Netflow Analyzer. regards, Michael

Non-Business View Systems
Is there a way to list all devices that are not currently associated with a business view. I have over 300 servers and some are not in a business view.(added via discover multiple devices) I want to be able to see which ones have no associations and make the connection. Is this a possibility?
Permissions to Add New Product and Vendor
I'd like certain staff to be able to add vendors and products. Currently they don't have Admin permission and I don't wish to give them that. The user is our CMDB Librarian with Full Control of Inventory and View/Add of Purchase. What permissions do they need to add/edit vendors and products?
Identify systems with administrator access
I have been asked to try to locate all the systems on the network, where users have administrator access to their computers. Our computers are not using local accounts, but domain accounts. I can individually tell if a user is listed within the local administrator group on their computer, by looking at the information within the inventory - but this does not seem to work with the reports. The reports are only showing me locally created users within the local Administrators group, but not any "domain"
Alarm stuck in Opmanager

I have created a new Business View named Internet and added the related network devices. Wheoun I link two devices together the device name shows as name&ip address even though I edit the device and change the display name after sometime it revert back. Is there a way to fix this? Regards
Notify technician when new reply
Hi, we have just upgraded from v7608 to v8109. Before upgrading, the technician was notified by email if anyone replied to a request. After upgrading, the technician only seems to be notified if the requester replies to the request. Can the notification behaviour be changed back so that notifications are generated regardless of who replies? Regards, Alan.

Enable AJP Connector in 9200
Hi All, We have been running OpManager for a few years now with AJP / mod_jk listening on 8009 and a httpd running on a nother system that forwards / proxy requests to the opmanager system. Today we upgraded to 9200 and the 8009 connector has been disabled. I have edited the server.xml file but each time you restart OpManager it re-writes the server.xml file and removed the connector config. Does anyone know how to re-enable the AJP / mod_jk connector in tomcat? Regards, Ben
After upgrading to version 8.0.0 unable to see requestor details from Admin-->Requestor Option
In the past the only way we could get technician accounts associated with AD accounts was by adding them via the Change Requestor to Technician option in the Requestor Details Options. Now we cannot do that because the requestor details options do not come up. Instead it bounces to the beginning of our requestors listing. Anybody see this before? Is there a fix?

Hi all, I know how to modify the italian translation of the various field names by editing ApplicationResources_it.properties file. Example: by modifying this parameter I can modify the italian name of the "Request Type" field: sdp.requests.common.requesttype=Tipo di Ticket But it works only for the standard fields. High item count reports
Is there a report that shows the users with high item counts per folder? Our users tends to have high item counts in critical folders: Inbox, Deleted, Sent, etc. that it affect system performance.
Sending mail, text randomly placed.
Hi We have a problem where when you reply or forward a mail the text you enter randomly gets placed at the bottom (that I have found). I attached two images that shows the problem, one image shows when i typed the letter and the other image shows how its displayed when I view the mail in SD+. I marked with green the word that this time got replaced and in the second image in red where it ended up. The amount of text we have noticed is random and most often more then one word as in the example. Best
