A link in a notification redirects to the business unit from the last session
Hi all, This is an issue that was discussed previously with the support. I will post it however so that everyone can get a chance to vote for including this functionality in one of the hotfixes, prefferably not in the very distant future. When clicking on a link of a request, SC+ would not open the request itself if in the last session I had selected a Business Unit different than the one the request is coming from. Example, I get a request from BU1. but last time I was working on the SC+
Contact Details
There are some customized information that we have for a Contact.However, if you have a request open, you have additional clicks to see this information. It is great that we can customize categories and other information. But it would be helpful to see that we can customize additional information in the Contact Details. It would save time and clicks and also ensure we are capturing this information.
Scheduled Survey Reports
I have scheduled a survey report that is individualized and goes to each member of the team. Some weeks everything is great and the report goes to the right person. Other times it seems that one person's report is sent to several members of the team. Nothing has been changed. If I do add a new team member, and set up a report for them, it affects others in the group and again the wrong reports are sent out. Thanks Kathy
Router Health
For whatever reason, the router health area displays "No Data Available" in the Router Health area of the SnapShot page. I would like to do one of two things. Either have the area populate with the proper data or remove it from the snapshot page. The routers that do not display data are Adtran routers. We have Cisco routers also but the Router Health displays fine for those. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Thank you in advance.

While I was adding the 2 VMwares to the SDP, I got the error. (192.168.4.33 and 192.168.4.34) Manual test by ping, 443 https port telnet worked on CMD. (also these VMHost servers are added on OpManager without any problem) Thank you in advance.

Java consumes almost 100% CPU resouces - Windows 2003 server
We are having some problems with JAVA.exe consuming most CPU resources when a user logs on to opmanager. When CPU resources are consumed, the server starts logging numerous system down errors (I assume because of low CPU resources). This also causes the Opmanager application to have very poor response for users. Our OpManager platform is Windows 2003 Server (VMware VM) and opmanager 8021.

Hi, How exactly are windows users passwords changed automatically? I seem to recall RPC being used in conjunction with the administrator user being provided. Does this mean the admin user has to actually have the ability to RDP to the box or can RDP for the admin user be disabled. eg: As per security policy that may be in place. In the SupportCenter Plus iphone App, there is a problem with the Total Cost calculations when adding a Time Entry to a Request. When adding a Time Entry, you choose your support rep and let's say he bills at say $125 per hour. If you enter say 1 Hour and 25 Minutes as the Time Taken to Resolve, the Total Cost field disregards the number of Minutes in the calculation and only multiplies the number of hours by the bill rate. So for example: Support Rep Bill Rate is $125 x 1 Hour 25 Minutes Taken

Delegate user edit option for logon time
I want to know if with the ADmanager Plus I can delegate to Departament Manager the option to edit the time a user can logon a computer. Ex: Users in the sales departament only can logon after 8 a.m, but the Departament Manager wants a particular salesman works earlier. I want to delegate this option, this way the manager doesn't need the IT department. It's possible?
Question about the adsmuserreportresult.ibd File
My adsmuserreportresult.ibd file is 2 gb in size. I'm wondering if this file is exactly what it indicates it is - User Report Results. And if it is, is there a way to clear this out? It sounds like its cacheing report results. This isn't really needed by us, and it would save a lot of disk space if there's a way to clear it out. Thanks.

Any special instructions to use this app. We keep getting the error "authentication failed" and I know we are entering the proper credentials. We use active directory to authenticate so we created local passwords as well just in case but still no luck using build 8017 of SDP
Make tasks searchable
Currently we use tasks on our requests. The only problem we have is when you search for things by keywords and that keyword is in a task then that task is not part of the search results. MIBs in SDP 8
Hi I'm trying to scan (SNMP) a Big IP f5 load balancer. I've checked that the SNMP agent on f5 is listening at UDP port 161 and I've configured the correct read-only community string in SDP. However, my scan times out. I don't expect a problem with latency between my SDP server and the f5 as there is no firewall in between and the latency is very low (far lower than the 5 sec scan timeout). We used SCP since several month now and we have a big problem with contracts. We can't import contracts like for contacts or accounts. this part it's really important We have contracts during short or long periods, we have the modifications during all the year. I read that a some persons had already made this request for a long time but no success. This import will be possible one day in SCP?

Easy way to link assets to users?
Hi, Is there an easy way to link assets to users during the creation of a request? We find that on the default request screen there the field to search for an user assest and use that for the request but the next time the user creates a request the assest is not in the dropdown of the user. So is there a way to link the two during request creation?
Hyper-V Windows 2012
Hi, I am having problems with OpManager detecting that windows 2012 servers are Hyper-V enabled. I removed four Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V and removed them from OpManager. I then reinstalled windows 2012 and enabled Hyper-V on them Added all the servers to OpManager but they are being categorized as Server and not virtual devices Is this a known problem with a workaround or do I need to create a support thicket to have this looked into ? Technician Notifications
We are using the software to support users on two different domains. We have dedicated technicians that support the users on each domain. Is there a way that I can set it up so that the technicians for domain (1) only receive notifications for users in this group and the technicians dedicated to domain (2) only receive notifications for their group? I do not want them to see requests for each others group.
