Credential settings of SNMP V1\V2 combined.
I see in the new version of OPManager 7.2 you have separated SNMP V3 from the V1/v2 combined. We have had tremendous problems with the combined versions of V1/V2 and I've had to roll back opmanager to V7010 just to sort of that problem. Is there is any chance you could separate SNMP V1 and V2 again like in 7010. otherwise tell me is there a setting that I could change in Op Manager as I feel that paying for this software and having to stick with this Old version of the software and missing out on

Hi, Since we migrated to the new version of OpManager due to our hardware refresh, I cannot seem to get the EventLog monitoring going properly. Instead of having the Eventlog sent to the email address, can we just configure the monitoring of Eventlog to appear within the OpManager Alarms display? Upgrade to 7.2 with patch BUSTED OpManager!
I just installed the 7.2 patch to a test machine running OpManager 7.1 on a RHEL5 machine. I followed the simple instructions to the letter and also did the backup. I am SO glad I applied this patch to the test environment before deploying on the clients production server. moving OpManger to New Server

OpMenager only displays some info for WatchGuard firewall
We have a WatchGuard Firebox 500 firewall but we don't see the CPU and Memory Utilization. We are able to see the network interface and Rx traffic but not much else. I have the MIBs for Firebox. I am using the OpManager web interface. I am new to this. How do I get OpManager to display the rest of the firewall info? I have enclosed a screen shot of the Firewall fro OpManager.

Restart a windows process from Linux?
Hello! I have a web admin that wants to know if OpManager can restart a jrun process on the web server when OpManager gives a notcie that a URL is down. Right now we have a issue with jrun locking up at random causing our corp site to go down. They have setup a web page for OpManager to call if the site goes down that will restart the process. Is there a way to make OpManager do this? I would see if I can just restart the jrun server process but it is running on a windows machine and my OpManager

Hello all, I'm trying to do some direct SQL requests in OPManagerDB for internal needs (Web portal), and quite all "complicated" queries does not work. I can see MySQL DB version is 4.0.18-nt , which is an old one. Can we upgrade it to 4.1 or 5.0 without damaging OPManager application ? Is there an official way to do it ? Hi, After upgrade my OpManager to 7200 version, it don't start, just show invalid license file message, error code 535. The support team in Brazil (Inspirit) recommended follow the steps below: First, they send the opmanager_license.xml file. I follow their instructions but the problem continues. Server Process Monitors well but wrong CPU(%) value
Opmanage Monitoring Server proccess run ok. But the maximun CPU (%) for one program proccess alway 12.5% (see attach file) During here , on Server that Program used over 50% CPU. I don't know why? help me know. Thanks

Hi, I have a problema here about monitoring Linux processes and filesystems. I configured the snmpd.conf on each device correctly, got the OIDs correctly and everything was perfect until now. To add a monitor with an OID i have to go to linux templates, and each process OID will be diferent on devices (the OID on each process will be made by the "Proc process" order on snmpd.conf) It would be solved if i could add a monitor individually on devices without adding them on the device templates. Failure after migration to step 7200
Hello, after installing the Servicepack/Patch 7200 OPManager can't monitor process monitors. I deleted the monitors and want to create them new but then there is only thin error message: Error # Query was not syntactically valid. Contact support with logs. We installed OpManager on a remote PC used for monitoring When OpManager starts, it automatically tried to open 'localhost:8081' How do we either: (1) Stop OpManager from automatically opening the URL (we still want it running as a service) - we don't use this monitoring PC locally OR (2) How do we change the default startup URL from 'localhost:8081' to 'xyz.com:8081' - our SSL certificate recognizes xyz.com but gives us an invalid certificate error when trying to load 'localhost' Thank you

Disk Utilization for individual disks?
Hi I see your Disk Utilization seems to present some kind of average for all disks in the monitored server, but this isnt very helpful to me because if my server total disk size is 100Gig and my C: drive has only 200Mb free, but my D: drive has 50 Gig free, I do not want to see 50% free! I need to configure alerts so that i'm alerted to the critically low space on drive C: Can you help? THanks
