i have a linux server with ssh, i add a monitor user,and i can use the user to login on server with ssh,but opmanager always report cli timeout.i found the time of login on linux server is up to 10 sec. so i want change the cli time.how can i do it?

Picking one row in a SNMP table
Hi everyone Ive setup a custom SNMP monitor but having problems returning exactly what i want. The OID returns two columns: a process name, and a value for that process. The rows are lots of different processes. I however only want one particular process. If i do a table view from MIB browser i can see the row i want but when i set up the monitor i dont know how to specify a particular row from the table so it just returns them all. Please help! I recently upgraded to build 7202. I have two PIX firewalls and when I go to monitor either one Opmanager does not show my internal interface. When I try to rediscover the interfaces it properly identifies the interface but when I try to add them they do not show up.
SNMP dont get connection but WMI runs
hello, from germany, ich have install the trial version on a server 2003 system. before i have install the snmp service from the installation-cd. the service are running on the system. when i login from a console like a laptop and configure the services and process-scanning i dont get the connection to the server about the snmp credential. the WMI login are successful. i dont have found some information. or i dont have translate it wrong for me. MSSQL monitoring
How do I add MSSQL monitoring for different databases? I purchased Premium Edition Single Installation for 50 devices, so I would think I should be able to monitor databases & Active Directory, I just cannot figure out how to enable the monitoring.
Issue adding new network device
I recently upgraded to the 7201 and now every time that I add a new network device, it is added with no display name. Since there is no name, I cannot select the default name (usually the IP address or DNS name???) to rename the device according to the standard that we have been using. These devices don't have DNS entries, but that has never been a problem in the past? Has anyone else seen this? Any Suggestions? Thanks, Bryan

Problem in Vanguard
Hi, One of our client carry vanguard motorola, as usual we follow the add template in order to add the devices. Though we follow the steps in adding template, we still encountered problem. Domain Controller Category Problem
Hello, i have opmanager 7, build 7010, and i dont have licensing for AD Monitoring. The problem is that in discovery it found a DC and put it under Domain Controller Category and doesnt let me access it. When i click on it, under the Domain Controller View, is gives me the message that i dont have the add on licence. So i go to Servers and click "import". No notification received
hello there. I have setup Notification for Polls and SNMP 1 case, (picture 1 and 2) Ihave configured when OpManager receives poll(s), send a notificaiton to me, 2 case (picture 3 and 4) I have configured when windows services such as SNMP Service went down, send a notificaiton to me. Problem with downtime scheduler
Hello I have a downtime scheduled for several devices. When I add a second schedule and select a device, these devices appear in the first schedule instead of the devices selected for that schedule. The same thing happens the other way. I can therefor only have one schedule running with a set of devices. Rainer

SQL threshold notification
Hello, We're running OpManager 7202 with SQL Monitoring. I have a number of thresholds set under MSSQL Monitors. If I look at the Monitors I can see that they are working, because they display Violated or Normal. I wanted to set an email notification for the thresholds, but when I try to select a threshold in Criteria it tells me No thresholds have been set for this device. Please tell me how I can resolve this. Thanks, Tom
OpManager_7_wont uninstall
On Windows server 2003 sp2 When running "ManageEngine_OpManager_7_windows.exe" the install sheild wizard says "this will uninstall opmanager 7 do you want to continue?" After clicking yes the installshield wizard results in customer feedback page. Then select finish and nothing happens ....cant uninstall cant re-install. Why are all uninstall posts pulled from the forum? I see other members needing to uninstall have been directed to uninstall exe's links which are no longer valid

NIC speed 10 Mbps on bond0
Hi All, I am on the latest version of Opmanager but all Linux systems with NIC bonding show only 10 Mbps speed. By default only the bond0 interface is detected which is the expected behavior. The screenshot shows the list of interfaces after rediscovery I think bond0 should always be set to the lowest value either eth0 or eth1 is set to. Any ideas? Dirk
Adding srw2048 to OpManager
Hi, I am trying to add my srw2048 switches to OpManager. I have some experience with OpManager so i am not a total noob. But the srw2048 doesnt accept the credentials when i provide them with in OpManager. I have set up SNMP and set it to v2. The snmp looks like it works from OpManager but the CLI or SSH doesnt. Both cli and ssh is properly configured and could be accessed from any client machine. What am i doing wrong? Please advise.
Problem adding new device

Monitoring Dell Hardward Faults
I want OpManager to notify me of pwoer supply failures, temperature problems, fan problems, etc. I have uploaded the 10892.mib, and added monitors for the device, such as the PowerSupplyTable and the CoolingDeviceTable. When adding the new monitor to the device, can I just choose the table, or do I need to choose one of the choice under the table. Thanks

String Matching in Threshold settings
Is it possible to perform string matching when setting thresholds for a custom monitor? For example, I perform a custom monitor to read the availability status of a firewall. The two possible strings returned are "active" or "standby". I would like to be able to set a text based threshold, and trigger an alert if the threshold 'equals' a defined string.
