CPU Utilization - Geting started - Newbie question

CPU Utilization - Geting started - Newbie question

I have just loaded the software and am tring to get the above stats working. I can find how to get the opmanager side going but not the client side. At the moment just testign with 1 windows xp client so do I just add smtp ? Does this need configuring ?
