deleted Domain Controller Infrastructure
I wanted to remove the domian controller servers and instead removed the Infrastructure "Domain Controllers". When I add an Infrastructure the drop down does not have DC's How do I add this Infra?

can't select single value from SNMP
I'm testing OPmanager in our organization, but for I have a problem with the temperature sensor we are using. I created a custom monitor, loaded the mibs and it was very easy. My problem is that I cannot enter the OID manually, I have to select it using MIB browser. From the MIB Browser I can select .1.3.6.1.4.1.13045.1.1.2.2.1.4 which will return the temperature and humidity. I want to retrieve temperature and humidity as a separate value in order to create threshold. From MIB browser (From Admin)
OpManager for nodes monitoring
I need to monitor the status of about 300 devices with static IP address. Can I: (i) Import a list of sites with names and IP Addresses? (ii) View the status of all 300 sites regardless of whether the sites are active (active, green) or not (alarm, down). (iii) Setup the view of nodes using user defined names in a row/column matrix. Can this be done with OpManager? If so, how? Thanks,
Availability report
HI, I am looking for a custom report that needs to be scheduled daily, weekly and monthly; the requirement is to generate a single report mentioning the Uptime (%) for each host polled. For example, if there are 100 devices the report should provide the Uptime (%) of all 100 devices in one single report. Any help is appreciated. - Kris
MSP: high virtual memory usage on mysql
Can someone tell me why the probe has to use 480MB of Virtual memory for the mysql server? This seems WAY out of range just for a probe. I found the changememorysize.bat and change it from 250M to 100M but that did not seem to change the mysql usage. Is there a way to tune this down? all of the probes that we will use will only have about 10-20 devices. Thanks Rick

Switching from DNS to IP mode
How can you change a system from being pinged etc. via its name instead of a fixed IP? I see this has been introduced but I can't see how to change it.
OpManager - Add new devices to new site
Hi All, I am new to OpManager and looking for some help on "I already have a site 'AllDev' created on OpManager during the installation and more devices were added to that site. Now i created a new site and i just wanted to divide the IPs based on Branches (all branch IP routers should reside in Branch site) and others in the earlier created site 'AllDev'. How do i point the newly added devices to the new site 'Branches'; the reason because i want to schedule the reports based on the sites.", Appreciate

Hi, I am setting up a email notification that sends an email to SMS company, however the format that Opmanager sends (with plain text selected) is not supported. I have attached two text files: Opmanager(not working).txt - Opmanager plain text output that doesn't work Outlook(does work).txt - Outlook message that does work. Anybody know if we can change opmanager output? P.s I have tried HTML and both options.

Hello. I have configured a Juniper Firewall with OpManager 7.2. I have enabled SNMP on the firewall, so I can obtain data from OpManager. We aren't able to view the following data past the 7 Day marker; Response time, Packet Loss, CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, and Disk Utilization The only one I can see is Today's Availability. We need to be able to see past records of those statistics to measure for problems. Any suggestions?
SwitchPortMapper / Export / PDF issue
I have just purchased the latest verion of "OpUtils Pro". I demo'd the previous version and was able to Export to PDF the switchport maps just fine. NOW with this new version when you go to export as PDF/View the text is too large to fit on the PDF properly. It's not useable. Is there a fix for this issue or a setting somewhere that addresses this issue? thanks ooga

Missing Devices
I have a fresh install of the 7204 build with a MSSQL backend. When I add a device, it is added successfully, but then after I change the category to lets say firewall classification, I can't see it listed under that category, or anywhere else. Unless I go into reports and do an all devices report.
Fix Firewall's interface always missing
We are experiencing this interface always missing in 1 our Fix. The said interface is the most important interface for us to monitor since this is our main VLAN. Before, rediscovering the interfaces worked but now its not working anymore which is not also good since rediscovering from time to time results to lost data for the device. What do you think is causing this? Hope to hear from you soon.
PIX 515E interface always missing
Guys, What do you think must be done or checked? I have a FIX 515E and has 10 interface but the most important interface for me to monitor is always missing. IP Address Manager Schedule Issue
It appears that the IP Address Manager Scheduler doesn't work for me. I have the IP Address Manager scheduler enabled to run daily but when I check the IP Address list the subnet hasn't been scanned for almost two months. If I perform a ping sweep of the subnet then the subnet is updated in the IP Address Manager. How can I ensure that the scheduler functions correctly?

OpManager monitoring Exchange.
Hello, We are having some problems, when we try to add an exchange server to OpManager. After adding the server, and it report ok for a while, no errors on snmp or wmi, we go to add server monitor and after adding the exchange monitors, when we add the storage groups, we cannot proceed, as the following screen keeps coming back empty. If we add only one storage group then it continues, but the statistics are not correct. This exchange server has 4 private SG and 1 public SG Thanks in advance DM

PIX not displaying interface stats
Hi-- I added a PIX 520 to opmgr without issue ( blue star next to device and device info came up fine ). But i still have no interface stats. I've removed the interfaces, added them back, removed the PIX and added it back. OpMgr classified the PIX as a desktop and i don't see any information about the interfaces when i click on them. should i? thx
Bug in Availability Report
Hi, I found a bug in Availability reports. When I click on the availability pie chart of a switch element (see image device_snapshot.jpg for a real example) to observe the detailed report, it shows me a report with a state diagram containing blue unmonitored bars, and without the name of the element in question (see availability_report.jpg). However, if I click on the icon in the upper right corner of the availability box for last seven days (7>), it gives me the correct information (see availability_report_2.jpg).

Hi, I added my Brocade SAN switch to OpManager and I would like to associate ports to servers. The "Switch Port Mapper" fonction seems to only recognize network mac-addresses. Is it possible to associate the fiber channel switch port manually ? If not, is this function planned ? Best Regards

Opmanager does not collect data
Hi all, There are some problems that i'm facing with OPmanager although i dont know if the problem is Opman itself. Whenever i install opm it doesnt see all of the servers. The weird thing is that when i uninstall it and reinstall it it sees the ones that it didnt and cannot see the ones that once did see.
