SNMP Trap Not Returning Data
Hi,
I am puzzled; we have a few server which are monitored by OpManager and they all have their data being recorded; all except one.
The following is stuff I have done to date:
1) Restarted the OpManager service
2) Checked that the SNMP service has started on this server
3) Restarted the SNMP service
4) Confirmed that there is a PUBLIC trap available and that it is not locked down with security
5) Checked that the same user account that is pulling the data for all the servers is the same. This user incidently is defined as an Administrator on the server in question (for another purpose)
6) Used the MIPBrowser to try and connect to the traps on the server, but it just times out. The other servers respond accordingly.
This server used to be responding fine!!!
What in the world would/could effect this?
I realise that this is most likely an issue with the Windows 2003 OS rather than OpManager specifically, but I am at a loss and hopefully someone can offer some pointers for me to check; as I have run out of options...
Thanks in advance for your help!
