Is there any procedure to modify predefined monitors to replace OID if any device doesn't match old one?
I have few Devices of juniper which includes (Juniper M7i Router, SSG140 firewall, J6350 Router) which OIDs either not included in OpManager or not correctly responding in order to display required information. Also i wanted to create new Infrastructure view device category but i don't want inheritance monitor from predefined category however currently i didn't find any option to create new category without inheritance. Please help me out and i am ready to share SNMP OID's of devices if you need
Feature request. A new "Modify Device Template"
Been doing allot of work with OpManager and found that the "Modify Device Template" section is rather lacking. There are may thing that should be part of the template, but have to be changed on a system per system basis. Such as notification profile, or service monitors. So here is my idea. Make the "Modify Device Template" look just like a "Snapshot" of that system type. From there make all things editable. Like the dial graphs. Support things like binding dial graphs to different monitors. Any
Error: "Device already present in the System" but I can't find the device in the OpManager console
I am trying to add a device from Admin->Add Device, but I am getting an error message stating: Device already present in the System. I have looked through the console but cannot find a devices with the IP address of the device I am trying to add. Any idea how I can get this device to add in OpManager? Inconsistent data in Domain Controller
Hi Team, We get inconsistent data from a few domain controllers and Exchange. Some data like LSASS,NTFRS,Cpu,Memory works, but other data is all N/A, We run the wmiadap few times on the system, but the problem continues on the systems. Monitoring Exchange 2003
I'm using OpManager 8.7 and wished to monitor our Exchange 2003. I've setup the WMI credentials which have tested correctly and i'm able to see my CPU/Memory/Disk utilization with no issues. However, the Exchange dashboard is showing up as N/A. This has happened to 2 different Exchange servers. Is there any special step to configure our Exchange for monitoring?
Alarm dissapears once the problem has been cleared
Hi, We are new to Opmanager and I cant seem to find anything that may resolve our problem. Over the weekend we had an outage that caused a number of alarms to trigger , however when we look back at the alarm history we see all the clear status however dont see any other status once the problem has been cleared. We need to be able to review back over the alarm history to see when problems happened in a single view. Thanks Brett

i have created a mail notification, and associated it to a URL in opmanager 7.0 but i want to set the consecutive time, example if i set the time to 3, and the URL monitors fails for 3 times continuously, then only opmanager 7.0 should notify me. not for the every failure. How to do this?

How to monitor an attached iSCSI volume for availability
We have a RHEL Linux server which is a VM (the VMFS is hosted on a SAN storage device) but the system also uses an iSCSI attached volume from a NAS device for its database. How can we monitor/check the availability/capacity of the iSCSI attached volume from within OpManager.

Hi, I notice the OpManager will not send email notification if it is already sent earlier. Yes, it is okay to avoid sending the same notification many times while we are working on resolving the issue. But what if no one acknowledge the alarm? Suppress Alarm
Hi, I would like to check, is there a way where we can suppress all alarm related to the network interface? I can do this in "notification profile" (to avoid send email on network interface related alarm), but then in OpManager it will still trigger an alarm. I have student ports I would like to monitor for errors or discard excessiveness, but don't want events to come through when they connect and disconnect their computers. Will I have to unmanage the ports or remove them and lose everything monitored on them just to stop the updown events? Thanks.

Device Template For multiple 2003 servers with different thresholds?
Say I have several classes of 2003 application server. Monitors are using WMI. A) Type 1 that needs to say monitor free disk space by GB, threshold of less then 10 gigs. B) Type 2 that needs to monitor disk space by GB, threshold of say less then 50gigs. It would appear you cannot create two device templates using the same OID or name like "Windows 2003". So you make one with a OID "Windows 2003 A" and "Windows 2003 B" but now you cannot apply the profiles to any devices because the list of devices

CPU and Memory Utilization for F5 Big-IP 3600
Hello, Running OPmgr 8721. Trying to get CPU and Memory Utilization for a device running 9.4.6. I have downloaded and loaded the mibs from here: http://www.oidview.com/mibs/3375/md-3375-1.html It is a multiprocessor device. Most of the monitors that were created for the 3600 template work, except for CPU and Memory. This OID for CPU in the template returns nothing: 100-(.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.42.0*100/.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.41.0) Likewise for the Memory OID: (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.45.0*100)/.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.44.0

Is it possible to publish a report in html format, say every 5 minutes to an FTP site to be uploaded on a different web server? We have a web facing application utilising around 6 servers, the monitoring is done on a server that is not accessible to the web. We want to be able to provide high level visibility of the servers availability to the board and customers. Unexpected OpManager Shutdown
Recently our OpManager service shutdown without warning and we went a number of days without even realizing it. OpManager logged the event in the Windows Event Log as: "There were 2 failed launches in a row, each lasting less than 300 seconds. Giving up." Fixing WMI Errors in OpManager
Hi Team, I recently saw a Script in ServiceDesk Plus, which can free up Firewall ports, DCOM , RPC errors in Systems before the systems can be installed with the agent version in SDP ? Is there any chance to incorporate this script in OPManager and when we discover the devices and use the WMI Credential, this Script can be executed and free up the WMI errors. Now we using nagios monitoring tool, but it is not enough for our requirement, we need to get syslogs and event logs through a centralized monitoring tool. Notification Profiles Triggering stops working AGAIN
Hello, Running Opmgr 8721. Came back after a weekend to find ,yet again, that notification profiles were not working. The Opmgr service was running but no one rec'd alerts. Once I restarted the service, a ton of notifications were sent, all late. Is anyone else having this issue? I see no other solution at this point than to reboot the server every day. Please help! IN IBM-AIX MACHINE COULDN'T GET MEMORY UTILIZATION
In IBM-AIX device, I couldn't get the memory utilization using Host-resource.mib. We have use default SNMP of IBM-AIX. That is to say, we don't use Net-SNMP. In default SNMP, we couldn't get them memory utilization. But we could get the CPU & DISK Utilization. How to solve it? Thank you in advance.
