Monitoring SRX 100 Junipers routers
I monitor Juniper routers (Model: SRX100), when I enter to the detailed view for the device I cannot see CPU Util/Mem Util/ Assoc. MU graphs. I used the MIB browser utility to load the MIB: mib-jnx-chassis.txt (Object ID:.1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3) and it was to applied over Juniper SRX 100 device and it respond ok for SNMP GET query. Now pls note, that when i configured some monitor ( for exmple CPU load-PIC: 8x FE Base PIC @ 0/0/* ) and i wish to test the Monitor always appears the monitor didn't response (Threshold
OpManager in sub directory
Is it possible to move the OpManager URL to a sub directory - i.e. instead of http://localhost/ it becomes http://localhost/OpManager/ Thanks, Ant
Is default view for the device based on the host-resources mib?
I monitor several wireless controlers (Motorola WS5100) and when I enter to the detailed view for the device I cannot see CPU Util/Mem Util/ Assoc. I checked it - I Loaded host-resources MIB to external snmp manager and tested my device - only memory utilization gave me a good respond. The strange thing is that when I add performance monitor (memory util.) (from host-resources monitors)to my wireless switch there's still no graph
[Feature request] Remote server management
It would be great to have IPMI support in OpManager. Not only MONITORING, but hardware control too. Ability to reboot, power on and off by events. And as extension to this feature request -- ability to assign management interface to server. For example -- server has primary IP 192.168.1.1, and IPMI Remote Management interface (iLo in HP case) IP 192.168.254.1

Glance Command for HP UX
Hi OPM Team We faced this issue with one of our customers site. They are monitoring a few HP UX servers, which are constantly giving 99% memory usage, whereas, if they use this Glance command , it gives 84% or so. This is happening in most of the systems. We know, we can modify the file and change the command to our customers output, but is it possible to use this Glance command. please check this command output and OpManager output Thanks Gopi ME Tech
disk space usage
Hi Helpdesk I started the monitoring a disk space usage on a machine which is running on Win 2008 server. Is it possible to setup a disk space monitor with alert? E.g: I have C and D drive and I would like to get the alert when the D drive usage is higher than 80 %. Thanks Joe
Digi CM Console Server
Hi. I got 2 equipments called Digi CM with 32 serial and 1 ethernet ports. I uploaded the mib file and got all the information about them at the mib browser page. But when I add the device, the only interface that is showed up is the ethernet one. I must monitor the traffic at their serial ports. How can I do this? Anyone could help me? Thanks. delete default group
In IP address manager I created all of my nodes and moved the subnets into them. Now I want to delete the default group because it is not being used, however I do not see how I can do this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Monitoring Virtual Machines on ESX
We are monitoring ESX Servers. In the "Inventory details" of the snapshot of each server, the virtual machines panel, appears empty. ¿Is it normal?. The ESX servers hosted a lot of virtual machines, and in the tab "Resource Allocation" appears all.
Monitoring ESX
I dropped, by error, a virtual machine that existed. The machine appears on the ESX, but the snapshot of the virtual machine, isnt exists. When I try to discover it again pushing the Rediscover button of the ESX, the link of the virtual machine appears "disabled". How can i discover the virtual machine again?
How to configure a specific trap processor to clear the view of a message
I have a question about trap processor. I manage several Wireless Switch Controllers (Motorola WS5100) and I recieve traps generated by these devices. In most cases I was able to appropriate configure sent trap messages to make an e-mail notification clear and readable. but when i get messages like this I cound't config trap process. in right way: wsTrapWirelessRadioAdopted is received from 172.29.9.2 with the following related information : sysUpTime.0: 169 days, 23 hours, 39 minutes, 0 seconds.

Is there a way to alter the device details or snapshot page to show the total pages count for a printer. I have the total pages printed as a monitor but would like to show it on the snapshot or details page. Is this possible?

Decimal SNMP
I'm using an OP to monitor SNMP device that tells the temperature of the environment in real catch up. The value returned by the device is in numeric format temp * 10. To get the converted value applied the formula: (oid) / 10, but returns the value after the comma, like this: 271 is equal to 27 and 279 is also 27. You can now return the value with the decimal or approximate? 271 = 27.1 or 27 279 = 27.9 or 28 Thanks
How to create reports on syslog files.
I have a sonicwall firewall that I have setup for snmp and also have syslogging setup. I have added the firewall in to your software and I have also pointed syslogging to OpManager as well. I can see the syslog entries but have no idea how to query these results or create reports from them. What I really want to be able to do is list network utilization base on source IP address. That way I can figure out who in my office is using large amounts of data. Can this be done using either of the methods
Unable to poll devices from SNMP .
We are Facing an issue of polling devices through SNMP string from yesterday onwards. Port we have tried changing the PORT ffrom 162 to 151 , it initially starts from some time and again stops polling. Regards, Aditya

Monitor EMC Centera
Is there any way to monitor available space on a Centera via OpManager? I see that OpStor can do it, but it sounds like it's actually using the Centera CLI to do so, not SNMP. We have one that we'd like to do some capacity trending on, and it would be much easier using OpManager than having to do it manually.
False alarms when WMI crashes
Hello Gents, I see the following issue. Sometimes (1-3 times per week) WMI service is crashed on different Windows servers. Some servers have Windows Service Monitors. OpManager tries to check service status via WMI and can't do it. I.e. OpManager immediatly sends alerts about service down. There is no any settings to send alerts for two or more WMI checks. Opmanger reports a device is not replying to pings but can ping using CMD
I get an alert that a ping to an ip address is not responding when using Opmanager. However, when I go to a command prompt and then ping the device, I get a response. This means I get a false email alert. I have just upgraded opmanager to 8722 from 8050.

Windows 2003 SP2 WMI Win32_PerfRawData_W3SVC_WebService Timeout Workaround
I noticed when adding a WMI performance counter i couldn't get the Webservice details. It gave me after long time a error. It was only by the Webservice instance, the rest of the WMI counters worked perfectly. After digging i noticed that the listattributes.vbs is passing 'null' to the WMI counter and that resulted in a time out. By replacing the 'null' value by a '-' i recieved details from listattributes. So i came up with the following workaround. I just wanted to share it with you in case someone
