Can't delete old routers or create certain other ones?
Hi all. I have two related problems. 1) I have two entries under “Routers” that, when I click on them, I get the message, “Unable to find object”. I need to delete them and recreate them, since the devices with those IP addresses have changed. I tried the repairdb.bat/sh procedure, and it went through with no errors, but the problem remains. 2) I cannot create a device with one particular IP address of 192.168.y.z. Why not have a widget for every possible monitor?
I would like to create a dashboard or view that shows my routers along with their temperature and utilization in one so I dont' have to drill down into each device to see these values... It would be nice if OpManager gave more flexibility to the views you can create..

Problem Running Powershell in Notification Profiles
Hello, i have an issue with notification profiles. I have created a "Run system command" notification profile, that failed. Bellow i detail the configuration of the notification profile: Command String: powershell.exe -c "E:\scripts\EnviaCorreo.ps1" When i push the test button, it appears "Command Executed Sucessfully", in the task manager of the opmanager server the process powershell.exe is executed, but the script isn´t executed. Changes required in OpManager

To the Opmanager Team, Running Opmgr 8723. After using this product for years and struggling with stability and reliability issues, we have finally gotten to a point where the server can run for weeks without crashing or restarting the service. Old setup: versions 6-8721 2003 or 2008 Virtual machine with 2gb and 1cpu monitoring 500 devices (physical and virtual) Common issues were high cpu and memory usage and random crashes, constant service restarts. Existing setup: versions 8722->8723 2008 R2
Interface Reporting Statistics Period
We have a problem where we can't report beyond 6 or 7 day period on traffic statistics for a specific switch interface. Is this a known issue or are we experiencing problems with our install/config? We need to have the ability to be able to assess network performance and troubleshoot related problems. We are running build 8723 thanks.
Opmanager Notification
Is there a way with Opman notifications to know which service failed each time or Monitor, and have it maintain that information in the header of the sms message? Like Opman outage: SQL server, Windows Service SQL Server, or any monitored service? Or if its a file monitor that fails have it change to that? basically have teh SMS or emails be more descriptive with out being several messages long in SMS? -Jeremy Mayfield
No Data showing for 7 day
I'm getting the reports to work for all other date/time ranges except the Last 7 Days, this is happening in Disk Utilization/Memory Utilization/ CPU utilization monitor. I just updated to the latest hotfix 8723 to see if this would be fixed but we are still having this issue. Has anyone come across this and know how to fix it? Dan
ILO2 Management
Hi to all and sorry for my English. I have a DL380G5 server with ILO2 management card. Windows 2003 SBS is installed as operative system with SmartStart management software. OpManager found 2 server - Interface of ILO2 (with ILO2 IP) that is reported as domain controller. He found Active directory. He found this via SNMP but WMI check failed (i think obviously) with domain parameters. - Interface of Windows 2003 (with Windows 2003 IP) that is reported as normal server. Here my questions:

Not able to view device details on dashboard
Hi Team, I have added a device (Packet shapper 7500 series) in OpManager. I have also configured the SNMP in the same. But still details like cpu utilization, memory utilization interfaces details are not reflecting. I think it may be the MIBs issue. Temperature for Cisco devices.
I notice that there are no monitors associated with the cisco devices that I discover. Eg. Cisco Router 1841. I would like to know how I can obtain the MIB/OID to monitor the temperature. Please kindly assist or advice. Thank you very much. Cheers, Andy

Partition Details of the Device(%) not working
I am unable to get the partition details working for any of my servers. Disk space used and free, both in MB and GB is working fine, as well as any other WMI counter. I am currently running OpManager 8 build #8723. The DB was migrated to a new MSSQL server and the OpManager server was migrated to new virtual hardware, following the migraton steps outlined here. Anything that is known that is going wrong? -Chris

WMI failing in UI but not on command line
I'm trying to set up WMI monitoring on my Windows 2003 & 2008 servers. Credentials for WMI test successfully, but when I try to test the monitor I get "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". However, when I run "cscript cpu.vbs <hostname> <credentials>" from the command line of the OpManager server it works perfectly. This is not just one or two servers too, this is all of them I can't get a single WMI monitor to work. All firewalls are disabled and OpManager version is 8723, Any ideas?
Not properly detecting SQL Server on Virtual Device
When OpManager detected my Virtual Guests, some of them are MSSQL servers. OpManager does not however display all the counters associated with SQL Server, opting instead to display the Virtual Device counters. Is there a way to get these counters displayed? Thanks! -Chris

Is there a way for Opman when sending text emails to Phones or SMS messages i think they call it, to have them all appear in on thread for a single issue, like the trouble and clear all be in one thread vs having separate? No data for CPU Utilization (Linux) - CLI
Hi, CPU utilization for Linux server using CLI does not return any value. Looking at HostResource.xml file, the command to get the CPU utilization value under "Linux" poll is top b n 1 | grep 'CPU[0-9]* states:'. I am on Opmanager Version 8723 and when servers or equipment miss polls I never receive an email alert even though I have it setup in the notification profile. Thoughts?
Top Interfaces by Traffic Rate?
Hello friends! I am need to have Top Interfaces by Traffic rate in my Dash board.. How can i do it?? Currently the options available are allowing me to only add interface by Bandwdith (which means interface banwith like 1G, 100mbps etc) or Total traffic count. Is there a way to change the look of the alert email generated by the monitoring software. If possible I would like to have two separate styles. The current one generates a title, message, and alarm details with a link to the login page for OpManager. What I would like is to be able to send the default email to the IT Staff, but also customize a second style of email for the others that would be notified of any network errors such as office heads and supervisors. Graph SNMP OID over time in OpManager
We have OpManager 8, and we would like to produce graphs of certain SNMP OID values over time. These are Cisco MIBS, beyond the standard CPU/Memory graphing that is already built in. I uploaded the MIBs to OpManager, and I am able to manually do a GET on the OID from the MIB Browser, and it returns the value as expected, but this is a one time thing. Is it possible to have OpManager poll the OID every X seconds/minutes and graph it over a period of hours/days? Even better would be if we could
SNMP Question - Traps vs Non Traps
I am trying to monitor certain information via SNMP.. Specifically: Temperature Fan Status I have found a MIB for Compaq servers (CPQHLTH.MIB Compaq Server Health information) that is able to pull this information.. However, I can only seem to add them as "traps". In the OpManager MIBBrowser I can actually get the temperature but I don't see how I can add that as something I monitor.. URL Monitor Question/Idea
Is there any simple way to configure a URL monitor to alert/alarm when a configured URL becomes available? We'd like to be able to monitor specific URLs and when they become available send an alert.
WMI permissions not working
I am trying to setup a user for polling WMI information from servers, without having to be a domain admin. I am testing on a 2003 R2 and 2008 server. I have not been able to pull the WMI information from the server, event though I have granted all permissions for the root\cimv2 namespace. it will work as the domain admin, but not another user. Any ideas?
