since installing the new version I cannot login and get the following error "Oops looks like a few tables got corrupted. Don't worry.. Run RepairDB.bat from bin directory and restart the server " I follow the repair instructions and restart the server and get the same error. Any ideas ???

We have numerous people adding new devices into OpManager without telling me! Is there a way to easily identify what new devices have been added? Either on screen or in a report - or any method really! We have 500 devices, so it's not that easy to go through the list manually

Problem by capturing protocol information WMI in Windows 2008 servers 32 and 64 bit
Good morning. OpManager is not able to monitor features of Windows 2008 32 bit and 64 bit. As shown in a picture 1 he is accessing the server with the WMI protocol. Reading Memory Usage from Topas in AIX
Opmanager return 98-99% in memory usage for my AIX server. Reading from nmon is the same but topas return only 50% usage. How to make OpManager read from topas?
Business view Enhancement for Links
Dear Team, Today every Core switch and edge switch have more then two links for redundancy purpose. But in OpManager we can only Monitor 1 Link between two device. Uptime on Availability Seems Wrong
In availability report, uptime seems a bit nonsense. If i want a report for whole of April, i will start the duration from 1 April 2011 (00:00) until 1 May 2011 (00:00). A report will generate, and uptime will be "30 Days 18hours". How come there is 18hours while April will only have 30 days? Build Number : 8723

Threshold rule in notification profile : cannot disable threshold notification

OpManager MYSQL server does not start
Hello, I had to shutdown Opamanger and restart it again this morning, since it was not responding. However, when I now try to start the service, it says DBServer failed. Real-time monitor on high speed links
We are finding that the real-time monitors work well for slower speed links like a T-1 but for high speed links with say 15 megabits of traffic the chart jumps wildly. It will spike up to 200 megabits per second for one second and the next nothing then the next second back to 200 megabits per second. What are you using to find the interface speed per poll? Are you assuming a packet is 1500 bytes? Some of our links move a great deal of packets but they are VoIP packets so they are 64 bytes each.

OpManager service will not start
I have installed OpManager 8 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Every time that I try and start the service it instantly fails. This message appears in the event viewer. "The ManageEngine OpManager service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s)." I have fully uninstalled the software, rebooted the server and installed the software again. Still the issue occurs. Any ideas?

How to change Trap Severity based on EventSeverity or EventDescription values (in OpManager)
We have a new product on our network that it has a unique OID in its MIB for the traps. I would like to know is there any way to modify trap severity depending on varbind (Message value)?. Now all traps are listed as critical, but we want it to show EventSeverity variable value instead.
Opmanager not detecting MS Exchange / SQL server machines
Hello All, I am evaluating OpManager 8 to mange my servers. Opmanager is detecting my Domain controller machines correctly and showing it under active directory tab and showing all active directory services. But it is not detecting my exchange server machines ( CAS , MAILBOX ) , Opmanger show them like a normal machine and dont show any Exchange server dashboard and services. Same is the problem with SQL server machines. Basically it is not showing Exchange / Sql Server Dashboard , like it is showing
Trap received from a Virtual Machine
Hi guys, Yesterday we have activated on a VM to send traps from a software to OP-Manager so we can generate alarms. We have made the rules so we can see a lot of traps in order to define what trap processors we need. Then we will reduce them to only the needed ones. Other TRAPS are received by OP-Manager from CISCO and NETAPP devices in this period. After 12 hours no TRAPS are listed from this server (VM) in the UNSOLICITED. We are sending the same traps to multiple IP and using "SNMP Trap Watcher"

I create a sound alarm and apply it to all devices. But there is no sound when the URL is down. Is there any way to let it sound when the url is down? And the url is not a monitor of any server in the opmanager. It is a URL Monitor of URLs Category of Infrastructure.
Custom Monitor - Threshold and Rearm Value
Hello, I want to setup a custom SNMP Monitor. The OID counts the hosts in my network that have not virus scanner enabled. For that the Threshold Alert Value should be >0. But I can't save without entering a Rearm Value. If I enter 0 or values below 0 I get an error as well. How can I setup this custom Monitor. Thanks in Advance Marco

Last 7 days Report missing days of data points
If I run a report for the last 7 days on any of my reportable data, I am missing everything from 6/24 at about 10:30 PM through 6/27 at about 6:15 AM. If I run the report for a custom range that includes those days, the data is present. It appears to be happening when the data points change from 'Recorded' to 'Hourly' intervals. Remove serial number from SNMP collected drives
Im looking to remove the serial number and label for the Drives in the SNMP monitor name and the alerts. Its just more information then I need. Currently for example it says Free Disk Space in GB-P:\ Label: PageFile Serial Number 148908d1 I just want it to say Free Disk Space in GB-P:\ I tried running a sql query in the opmanger database to remove the serial number and Label. I would like to be able to specify the time to check for specific files and / or folder when using the associated monitors in Opmanager. For example: If I have a backup that runs and stores its file in a specific folder, and I want to verify that the size of that file is xGb, but I only want it to check after the backup runs, I'll need to specify a time.

hi there, i just TRY Opmanager V8, then i see that when i go to LIST VIEW , show me devices duplicates and even not all in the same page. SNMPv3 Issue
Hi, I have a question about SNMPv3 support of OpManager Build 8060. I configured my device with SNMPv3 Username and MD5 Auth Password. In the "Admin" > "MIB Browser" Tool I can call some MIB-II values if I configure the device in the SNMPv3 tab. So far, so good. If I add the credentials in "Admin" > "Credential Settings" and try to apply them to a managed device (in the "Passwords" dialog), it always says "Failed". So why is there a difference between the internal MIB Browser and the SNMP polling?
OpManager WOL for servers feature
Hi Everyone, Just as an idea I like how OpManager can attempt to restart services when they are down but it would be awesome if it was able to extend that to WOL when a server it down. Adding a WOL feature on the device page to wake it up or even when the device is down for a extended period of time automatically attempt to send a magic packet to the device. Thanks
