Hi, i try to connect 2 devices with multiple link, but it isn't possible. I try to use ctrl key but doesn't work. example : switch a with 8 interfaces, two of these connected to another switch. There is no way to do this ? thk so much

What Port Does the Server Receive SNMP Traps On?
Hello-- We just deployed a new Symantec anti-virus solution in our environment and it has the option of sending SNMP traps to a management server for things like outbreaks, etc. In the Symantec configuration it has a field for specifying the port number of the SNMP management server in addition to the IP address. Integration OPManager with DeviceExpert on different server
I try to integrate OpManager with DeviceExpert on different server. I set server name, port (6060), protocol settings (https), import SSL certificate from DeviceExpert (de.cer) on local folder of opmanager and set authentication detail, but when i test connection this is the error : "Unable to fetch values from DeviceExpert, The server might not be running or the network traffic may be too high." Ream value not working correctly when trying to setup Free Disk Space in GB monitor
Since most of the monitors want a value to go below a certain level to rearm, monitoring for free disk space is the opposite. If free space gets low, that is bad. The value to rearm should be higher than the thresholds. But for some reason, I am unable to get it to allow me to put in a higher value than the thresholds. Hi the community, I installed for test purpose the APM plugins on a OpManager server v11300. I put in place some config backup and full backup for OpManager part. What I didn't find till now is : When I backup Opmanager (full or config file) does it backup also the APM plugin part ? do I have to create another JOB scheduled to backup APM my Config : OpManager v11300 running on PGSQL (embedded database) with APM installed as a Plugin....

Hello, are there any recommendations for using OpManager with the APM plugin? I see a lot of overlapping features. Should Exchange and SQL be monitored in OpManager or in APM? Or both? Should APM be allowed to import data from OpManager in the Admin/Add-On setting? What are the implications? How much data will be duplicated? Will APM alerts show up in OpManager, or is APM a better choice for the main view? Thanks for any input.

The install guide does not say, does the Network Change and Configuration Management plugin get installed on the central server or the probe? I have both running on the same box and the installer is prompting for a location to install.... The Netflow and switch-port mapper plugins both install into probe automatically without prompting.

Cannot clean some monitorings on a MSSQL server
Dear support, the story is : I monitor a MSSQL server with X MSSQL instances using the MSSQL plugin. 2 MSSQL instances have been removed from this server. So I deleted the monitoring of these 2 instances,... BUT the servers is still raising alarm of "MSSQL - XXXXX service is down", even if these two monitoring have been removed. Hi!! I have a question about .mib files. I entry in MIB Browser and load a file .mib about DataDomain (from EMC). I discover this DataDomain but this Hardware isn´t well categorized. Need Advice on Unstable ME OpManager Service
Hello-- We are running OpManager build 11300 with a Central Administration and 4 Probes. *Each probe is on a dedicated VM server with ample allocated resources. The central admin, and 3 of the 4 probes run without problem, however, one probe "Probe 2" has a service problem every day. Basically, the web gui just spins, I remote into the server and try to stop the ManagedEngine OpManager Probe service, and eventually get an error that the service would not stop in a timely manner. Hyper-V orphaned VMs
Gents, Rediscovery works very strange. Ip address was changed on VM. Now I see two VMs with the same name. See the attached screenshot. 1 and 2 are the same. But I can't delete 1 or change its ip address. I can delete 2, but I suppose it will delete all my custom settings and monitors. 2 is the real running VM. Would be nice if you can merge VMs with the same name. Or administrators can delete any orphaned VMs. Thanks

Is it possible to remove specific services from being monitored by the windows service monitor? Im using the 30 trial version 11. I'm getting alerts that that the windows search and sql browser services are down. Which they are but they aren't needed on our SQL Servers.

OpManager won't upgrade to 11300
Hello All, I use OpManager at work, and to ensure things go well I also have a lab environment using the free 10 device version. I am practicing migrating the instance from one server to another. My old instance is on build 11000 and the new is on 11300, I know they need to be the same to do the backup/restore process so I'm trying to upgrade the 11000 version to the newest build. I downloaded the patch from OpManager, killed the services, opened the upgrade manager, pointed it at the upgrade file

Unable to save/open pdf report from OPmanager
Hi All, I am trying generate report for some servers for memory utilization and tried to save in pdf format but it is not opening and giving Error: the document is damaged and cannot be repaired. Adobe Reader could not open because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). Please help me out on this issue
Two questions about OpManager...
I have two (hopefully) simple questions about using OpMananger: 1. I have created Hyper-V hosts in the Virtualization tab, but they don't show up there or in the Servers tab. Why can I not see these devices? 2. How do I add a network device? I go to the Network tab, but I don't see anywhere to add a new device. Thanks in advance.
Memory of process showing as KB instead of MB

Pardon the dual post. I tried to do this "anonymously" but I can't find it. What suggestions do you all have regarding auto-starting the linux OpManager automatically. Good Morning, I just installed the latest version of OpManager on a fresh and fully patched server running 2012R2. I rebooted the system but when I try to go to http://ocalhost:8080 I get the login page, great enter the default login anbd password and then the screen stays blank. graphic error in device availability, appears as (unmonitored = 100)
I commented that I have problems to check current availability chart of all my devices, the device appears as I enter " unmonitored " and shows me the graph of the time in which he has been active or down. on-call and backup technician calendar
We run our department with several on-call engineers and we have to manually change the notification each monday to the next engineer. Is it possible to make an on-call (and backup) calendar and have opmanager do notifications to the current on-call engineer. Preferably using the backup engineer as escalation.
