How do you reset the admin password if it is lost or forgotten? Admin is the only user.
"Clear" Alert issue
I'm having an issue with the "Clear" status on our alerts For several servers notification profile, we have all options selected and it set to email out to specific groups responsible for fixing those servers when problems occur. We also have a reoccurring rule set to email them multiple times (up to 10 times) every 30 minutes until the problem is resolved. The problem is, once the issue is resolved, they don't get just one "clear" alert letting them know the issue is fixed. They get reoccurring
Close ticket in SDP
Hi, We have OpManager build 12000 integrated with SDP 9211. We are able to open SD tickets when alarm comes in OpManager. But when alarm gets cleared in OpManager does not close ticket in SDP automatically. Is this feature available in OpManager. Regards, Nikhil Kalwint
OPMANAGER-Manage Engine Data Collection Issue
Dear Team, I am new to OPMANAGER.I have tried to configure some performance monitors for NVR.However I am able to add that one but the I can't get the real time values and alarms for the monitors.When I checked in Alarm details for this specific device ,I have found that the data collection for this device is made daily once only.For the other devices I am getting real time values and alarms.Please find the attached Alarm list and other details. [OpManager v12] Is it possible to set a page refresh timer for the dashboard?
Hello, We recently installed OpManager v12. In v11.6 we were able to set how often the front page refreshed. I cannot seem to find that option in v12. Our issue is that we have OpManager setup to a large TV display in our office and it runs from an un-managed computer (no keyboard or mouse). But the page / alarms & events don't refresh! Which means our service desk cannot see if there are alarms that need to be looked at.

OpManager V12 Customization
Hi, I wanted to know how much customization can be done with the software, for example I noticed that in the business view a custom icon can be assigned to the equipments, however in the device template it can't be done neither in the google maps view. OpManager 12 and quick config Windows credentials association
Hi, Just installed Opmanager version 12 and detected servers by connecting to vcenter which worked to a certain extent but when I try to use the quick configuration wizard to associate the newly discovered vm servers to windows credentials there is not any servers which I can associate. We are currently running 11600 in production but plan to move this into live ASAP. Regards Paul O

Hi All, I’m trying to finish on the “Discovery” the OpManager Probe that I'v just setup. Although I’ve created the profile that I named “snmp” from “Add Credential” and save, I still get errored out. opmanager probe and ticket creation
Hi, I have SD MSP and some opmanager probe in our customers network. I try to connect the probe at the SD in order to create a ticket. I correctly connect the probe at the SD MSP, but when I made an "notification log Profile" can not select Category or priority or technician. The probe aren't able to see these value. If I try to test the notification log profile the probe create correctly an ticket but not is classified. My probe version it's 11600 and SD MSP version it's 9005. I read in the web
Problem with adding a monitor
Dear sir/madam, A problem occurred whilst adding a monitor. In the adding monitor setting it only shows the first 50 options. As seen in the print screen there are 162 options. The option to show more and/or go to the next page is not available. Thanks in advance, Fares

Hi Team In my Company we have a problem because we have many servers with linux installed. The problem is when the administrators tried to check the memory utilization monitor and the monitor don´t show the same information that the server when they run a command. My question is Is it possible to change the command line in the memory utilization monitor or is possible to put a new monitor about memory utilization for the linux servers. OpManager Google Maps
Good day: How does one go about setting the default location for Google Maps (under Business Views) in OpManager? I get to where my devices are and if I shut down the browser and open the map again, I'm in Palo Alto, CA. I've found that whenever I click the "Return to last result" button (on top left of map) it also returns me to Palo Alto, CA. I would like that button to take me back to my "default" view, any one know how to do that? thanks, --rob

interfaces not discovered in Netflow Analyser
Hi, I'm working with OpManager version 12. the devices interfaces are discovered in OpManager but not in Netflow Analyser module. Whar are the possible reasons?
Output Discards on switch port does not update to reflect new status
I have a problem. Multiple switches are showing a polled value of something other then zero. For example, I had output errors in a port and it says last polled value is 3299. after making a switch change I cleared counters and that port is saying zero discards for the last several days. What do I need to do to have Opmanager reflect this. Removing the counters and re-adding does nothing and still is issuing alerts from old data. Suggestions???
Layer2 Map - how to delete entries
Hello everybody, I have some Layer2 map entries that i want to delete. These entries were generated after errors when i configure them. So they appear in the list of Layer 2 maps but point nowhere , with this error msg : Device mapping does not exist for this map I suppose this is a entry in the opmanager registry but i don't know where and how i can delete it. not able to disable threshold under OpManager version 12
Hi, I'm traying OpManager version 12 functionnalities but i have a problem with editing thresholds. In fact, i made few notifications profiles and i associated them to windows server 2012 r2 devices and i configured tresholds for test so i got notifications. The problem is that when i tried to edit thresholds to stop notifications i still have notifications and i couldn't delete thresholds neither by trying to modify the device template or by trying to modify this from the devices snapshot. Modifying Monitor Values in existing Monitors OID Error message
I am being alerted when my Domain Controller LDAP Client Sessions are too high. I am OK with the sessions and I would like to updated the threshold. When I attempt to update the threshold I get the followiing message and it won't save. Enter the SNMP OID, however this has been entered long ago, I a just want to modify the threshold. We are running OpManager 10100 (64 bit) Is this a bug/ known issue? I gave a specific example, however I do not seem to be able to change monitor threshold values.

Hi, I have simple but quite annoying issue - when I add Windows 2012 server to Opmanager or (Appmanager) I can't monitor it via WMI as it says "Failed. Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided.Refer Troubleshooting for more reasons and solutions for them." - password for local ADMIN account is 100% correct as I can log on via RDP. BUT when I use domain account that has admin permissions on this server everything works fine, it's only related to local accounts. Anyone

Hi, I am testing OpManager V12 and I'm having some trouble with the "Last Polled Value of a Performance Monitor" widget, if I test the monitor gives me the correct value, however when I add the widget to any dashboard and select the monitor I ant to display it shows no data at all. Widgets refresh rate

Remove multiple monitors from a server in V12
in OpManager V11.6 if you wanted to remove multiple monitors on a single server there was a check box next to each monitor. You could select several and click remove. In V12 all I see is a trash can next to each monitor. Is there a way to select multiple monitors to remove in V12 or do I have to click on each individual trash can and click ok?

OpManager v12 (free edition) can recognize SNMPv1 trap but cannot recognize SNMPv2c trap
I had import the SNMP mib file of a device to OpManager v12 (free edition). I find that if my device set the SNMP version as version 1, OpManager can recognize the trap details. However, if my device set the SNMP version as version 2c, OpManager cannot recognize the trap details and treat those as "No Trap Parser defined". Please help to advise on this!
admin rights gone after migrate from MySQL to MSSQL
Hi all, I migrated OpManager 11200 from MySQL to MSSQL successfully. After migration we noticed that all the domain authenticated users that were admins on opmanager are not admins anymore. even when i delete them and add them again with admin permissions, they dont get the admin permissions. Like when they login, they can't see the admin tab, and they cant delete devices ... etc also some domain users that were there before migration are not listed in the users list, even they are still in the database.
