Resource Monitors
Since applying the new hotfix apart from the default resource monitors i.e. CPU, Disk & Memory utilisation if you click on them to show the graph you now get a Status message which says data is yet to be collected for this device. I have tested the monitors and they work in fact the alerts that we have setup on the partition utilisation monitors appear to be working but the graphs don't. The reports for volume usage also work. OpUtils tools in Opmanager?
Are there any plans to add the tools that are available in OpUtils to the OpManager software? I would think that since OpManager is OpUtils with Server management you would be able to use such tools. I was going to buy OpUtils but I also needed to monitor servers as well so I bought OpManager. I notice going thought the OpUtils demo that there are many many network tools and features that are badly needed in OpManager in order to manager a network but they are not included. When will OpUtils feature
Monitoring Multiple CPU's
Can OpManager monitor each processor running on a multi-processor server? I assume in order to do this is it a custom monitor right? I have a Dell 2850 I need to monitor each processor on.
Printer warning send email
Hi, I've just started comfiguring our OpManager so fogive me if this is a naive question. When I bring up the printers I can see that one of them needs a new drum kit. How can I configure OpManger to send me an email to tell me about these warnings? Thank you!
OpManager Support fot HP Procurve 5308 with E10.23 s/w
I'm running v6 OpManager which supports one of two HP 5308s switches though they both run v10.23 s/w. OpManager however reports v10.04. Is there anything I need to do to get it to report v10.23? Also, for some strange reason the second switch cannot be monitored in real-time to show CPU and memory utilisation. Have I missed anything? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Many Thanks Lee

How does one setup a monitor to check disk space on a server. That is setup a threshold to notify us if free space falls below 2GB.
New Windows Service Monitor
Hello, I am having problems adding any Windows Service Monitors to one of my servers. It's a Windows 2003 server. I know I am using the right username (domain\username) and password because if I add the user to the administrators group on this server, it works fine. However if I remove the user from the administrators group, it ceases to work. MSSQL Data Space Statistics
When we look at the graphs for the application monitor MSSQL Data Space of DB, the titles are all ".x KBytes". We believe this needs to be the name of the database. How can we fix this?
Assigning a graph profile
I'm trying to setup graphs for a server that does not have snmp enabled. In the manual (page 174), it states to 'Refer to assigning a graph profile to a Non-SNMP device for details' I can't find this section. I have WMI resource monitors setup and they are getting responses. Anyone know how to modify the graph profiles? Thanks Chuck

Create business views on Linux installed in console mode
Hello. I am just now testing the OpManager product installed on Debian in console mode. Is there some way to run the admin tool remotely since I do not have a GUI environment on my server? It would be nice if that functionality was available in the web client interface.

Windows 2000 Servers Not Monitored Correctly
Support, I have been using OpManager for a while now, and i am very impressed with how well it monitors windows 2003. However its ability to monitor windows 2000 seems to be somewhat hampered. I am unable to correctly monitor any Windows 2000 servers. I continually get authentication errors even when i know 110% that the usernames and passwords are correct and so are the SNMP community strings. Business Views do not appear under second user account?

Switch Link Speed In OpManager
HI, we are using Nortel Switches.Baystack 450 Switches. after adding the switch with IP address it shows Link Speed 2,000 Mbps on Fiber Port. It shows ethernet port speed 200Mbps instead 100Mbps. But if I telnet the switch & check this , it shows Speed of Fiber port 1000 Mbps & ethernet port speed 100 Mbps. So what do i need to do to rectify this problem. For example, we have a MSSQL cluster with 2 nodes. there are 2 instances of the databases, each with its own Windows Service (for example: MSSQL$DB1 and MSSQL$DB2). SD+/Netflor integration
I can't get the integration piece of OpManager to work with SD+ or Netflow Analyzer. I've tried it with the fqdn, ip address, netbios name, multiple different logins, etc. SD+ has AD auth. turned on. Netflow is just using the admin account. Please let me know what to check on to get this working. Thanks, Neil

OPmanager won't shutdown
I tried to shutdown OPmanager running ./ShutDownOpManager.sh from /opt/Adventnet/ME/opmanager/bin and nothing was shut down. I stopped mySQL and restarted it with ./mysqladmin shutdown from opmanager/mysql/bin and restarted it with bin/startMySQL.sh and now can't log in to the web interface. It asks for username/password then reloads the login page. Any ideas? Thanks, Kyle Echols
Monitor free space, % utilisation of disk drives only
Hello, I would like to monitor free disk space and/or % utilization of all my server's disk drives. I have many servers (> 100) to configure, so I used the "Quick Configuration wizard" to add the monitor -> "Resource Monitors" -> "SNMP based Resource Monitors" -> "Partition Details of the Device (%)". The problem is that this monitor also report "Virtual Memory", "Physical Memory", CD-Roms letters utilization. Is there a way to monitor only disk drives (custom monitor, ...) Thank you

Hi there. I would like to know if is it possible to do something like this : - i have the opmanager running in port , let's say , 9090 - i have a web server (apache) running in the same host , listening in port 80 - i would like to have a url like http://server:80/opmanager , instead of having http://server:9090 I believe that this could be accomplished using proxypass in the Apache, but so far i could't have working.
