add/change gauges snapshot view
Hi, I'd like to change gauges and views to the main page of a device (snapshot view). For example, when clicking on a server, there are guages for CPU load, Memory load, etc. I'd also like to change the disk utilisation to diskspace c: Anyone an idea ?

OpManager 7 - problem with linking CISCO ports

Windows 2003 Domain Controller reporting 100% CPU usage?
I have a windows 2003 server, domain controller and file server which is being monitored as having 100% cpu usage all of today. I logged into the server and checked the cpu usage in performance monitor and it is no where near 100%? what would cause this?
SNMP CPU/MEMORY/DISK Space Monitors
I am trying to setup OpManager Trial version to monitor 10 servers across 2 domains. All of the servers are running either Win2003 server, or Win2k Server. All of the servers have the SNMP SERVICE running, as well as the WMI Service. However in OpManager, some of the servers dont have the BLUE star that indicates that the server is SNMP enabled. Sometimes, files get hanged at some particular directory due to few reasons. Currently, these files are being monitored manually by checking the time they stay in particular directory. So, a proposal has been made to install a Monitoring tool which can monitor these file directories and send an email notification/alert
SQL Server Agents stopping
Has anyone else had an issue where OpManager with the SQL monitor add-on has just randomly stopped the SQL Server agents? Our main SQL server keeps having this problem and it didn't start until we installed the software package. Thanks!
Backplane Utilization in OpManager 6
I can not get backplane utilization from my Cisco switches. Memory and CPU utilization works fine. When I do a Test Monitor I get the response - The Monitor did not respond to the test request. I tried using the standalone MIB browser and used the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.1.8 and received a request timed out. When I use the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.1.8.0 I get a response without an error. Please provide a procedure to fix this error. Thanks!

Guys, We scheduled a report for a client installation to run one morning but the output is no data available. We tried to run the report manually and the report is had data. Database and OS compatibility
HI, I am evaluating this product for our MSP. we are seriously thinking to use opmanager and service desk. I wanted to install opmanager MSP edition and ServiceDesk Plus 7.0 Enterprise Edition. Please let mw know whether it is suitable for MSP. Next question is Can I use MS SQL 2005 and Windows 2003 with both latest patch. Or else please let me know which OS and which DB version is most suitable. I don't want to end up in incompatibility issue. Please help. Regards YAsh
Monitor Drive array or individual HDD status?
Is it possible to monitor the individual drive or SCSI/SAS/SATA/IDE RAID array status in a server? I would like to have the ability to be notified in case an array goes off line or a HDD begins reporting bad sectors. I am not sure if this is possible through SNMP? Or through OpManager. If it is, how is this enabled? Thanks

Whenever I right-click the menu item , I am able to open multiple windows of the same element or Instance. Since we are using JFrame the init() takes care of opening of new windows. My requirement is to open or show only a single(same) window even when user clicks the same menu item for several times. Please help me in achieving the above. Thanks.

OpManager stopping SQL Server Agents??
This problem only started after we installed OpManager with SQL monitor add-on. For some reason, our SQL Server Agents will just stop for no apparent reason. Has anyone else run into this? Is this a bug with the software package? Thanks! Emily
Exchange Monitor-service down
I have version 7 and the exchange monitor is reporting that exchange service is down. I have checked my exchange services and three of them are not started as they are not used. How can I exclude them from monitoring so that it doesn't report that exchange services are down?
Cannot get WMI monitoring to work
Hi, We have installed OpManager and are able to monitor all of our servers and devices with SNMP fine. However, when trying to add any WMI monitors, such as exchange, OpManager reports the service is down and an authentication failure alert is generated for that server. Now the 'windows' credential is being used and the domain admin account is put there. Suddenly can't establish connection to server
Hi... I'm succesfully installed OP Manager 7 but after few time, the web panel suddenly can't be viewed again. I had to restarted OpManager using sh StartOpManagerServer.sh again. After a few time again the web panel can't be viewed again. I already add Op Manager running as a service but when I tried issuing this command "service opmanager status" I received "env: /etc/init.d/opmanager: No such file or directory" Please advise somebody
Installing OpManager ubuntu 7.04
Hello, I sucessfully installed OpManager on Ubuntu 7.04. But when I try to start the OpManager Server I get the error message : "Failed to establish connection with web server. Only memory utilization works for Cat 6500 series switches.
I have a bunch of Cat 6500 series swicthes and I am interested in monitoring teh CPU and Backplane utilizations alongwith port mapping. None of the above works except the memory utilization. The BRIDGE.MIB is in the mibs folder but throws an error when trying to load it via the MIB brwser. The error meesage being could not open the file

problems monitoring exchange on SBS 2003 + probe
hello, When i want to monitor Exchange on a SBS 2003 (DC+Exchange+Probe) i get the following error: 80041064 - User credentials cannot be used for local connections. When using MS Visio, I can't seem to get a hyperlink to work and bring me to a snapshot reports page of servers set up. Instead I am brought to an overview page. Anyone else have issues similar to this one? thanks matt

I'm working on a project where I need to have a hyperlink take me to a servers report page. Everytime I set up a hyperlink I am brought to the page which shows: Average Availability Availability Distribution Top-N CPU Utilization and more bar graphs of ALL the servers set up. Has anyone dealt with this or know how a work around this?

Problem in OP7 adding switch
Hi,Op team I have installed OP7 in Windows 2003 Server,and used MS SQL as OP7's Database,when I add swithces I meet a serious problem. I added a cisco 2950-48G using 10 mins,I found that OP7 needs long time to add it's ports,then OP7 returns "add successfully".Meantime I check "task management",there only sqlsvr.exe using 45%-70% CPU and 201M memory.
