Packetlogic Custom Monitors Problem
Hi Team We are working on Packetlogic device and create custom monitor for them. But SNMP is working and interface is working, but when we create custom monitor it responds in mibbrowser from Admin page also in bin folder mib browser. Main problem is when device answers to snmp, it gives generalvalUsage.0-->>1 so we add custom monitor with both .1.3.6.1.4.1.15397.2.1.104.6.1 and also .1.3.6.1.4.1.15397.2.1.104.6.0 but when test monitor we get no response. Receiving alarms without monitor
Hi again! I am monitoring some printers. One of them has an alarm message that the toner level is 10% and the threshold value is 15%. The correct statement is that the toner level is 10%. But the threshold for this monitor is set to 5%. Therefore the alarm is wrong. I cleared the alarm. 5 minutes later it came up again. I cleared the alarm again and deleted the monitor. 5 minutes later it came up again. I remember that when I added the device (few months ago) I set up the threshold for the monitor

Ability to enhance message sent in alert
We often alert on errors in the Windows event log. many of the events have very cryptic descriptions and don't provide any information on what needs to be done to address the problem. It would be nice if alerts had a "custom message" field that would alow us to explain to the technician where to go to get information or how to address the problem.
Data for NIC interface are not collected
Hello, Since 3 days, data stopped to be collected for NICs interface for all devices. I'm using OPManager 8052 with MS SQL back end. I saw that for all edvices, it is not showed and maybe collected. Opmanager 8.7
I couldn't actually download 8.7 via the upgrade links because the UK/Britain/Great Britain/England is not listed in the country drop down. Undeterred I downloaded it from the trial link and installed it, eager to see the support for vSphere 4. Irritatingly, it has only picked up our 12 vsphere servers as linux boxes, exactly the same as 8.5 did, I've rechecked the community strings are correct, which they are. Any ideas please?

Can't add downtime schedule with end time lesser than start time
Hi all, I want to add downtime schudule for out office time from 5.00 PM to 8.00 AM but when I try to set downtime frequency by every day and set time from 17:00 to 8:00 the program don't allow this value like pictue below. Now I try to split downtime to 2 downtime schedule like this: 1. from 17:00 to 23:45 2. from 00:00 to 8:00 On rule 1. I can't set end time 00:00 because I lesser than start time then I will loss 15 minute for this configuration, please kindly recommend

Receive SNMP notifications from devices.
I've setup and started the Windows SNMP Service and disabled the SNMP Trap service. Then started OpManager and added my device's. But when I go to the website of a device and for example an APC UPS. And try to send a test trap to the OpManagers ip address there are no alerts showing up? I'm struggling with the problem now for hours, can't find in in the forum so a started a topic. Printer Monitoring
Hi I Have all my printers in opmanager and SNMP is working. When you go into the printers group though, it has the printer icon but not the box next to it which has the symbols. Hi OpManager Team, i got a problem here. Before this my company data center using AD 2003 and Windows 2003 Server. On last week we upgraded it to new server using AD 2008 and Windows 2008 x64 server. Problem restoring SNMP access to Cisco Switches
Here is my situation: I've had snmp working fine on my switches until recently. The change relates to the switch's management IP address. Issues monitoring Cisco Switches/Routers Interfaces
Hi, Last week I was able to monitor the cisco interfaces on our switches/routers. I now have the following issue: - No interfaces appear in the interface tab for the devices. If I press rediscover it finds the interfaces. I press add its states they are added but nothing appears in list. SNMP etc is working. Any ideas on what I need to check? Thanks John

Running OpManager in two OSs
I just found out that the Linux installation of OpManager is not going to support the monitoring of the installed Active Directory Servers, or the installed M$ Exchange server. We are seriously considering the the OpManager for Linux installation, can we run both the OpManager Deluxe on Linux and OpManager Professional for Microsoft, and have the messages forwarded to one console? Make them reportable from one Server?
