Threshold Value issue on opmanager
We have added our wireless device on OpManager for monitoring in that we have set threshold value 90% to send alarm and re-alarm value as 85%, but I am getting alert for 30% for same interface Below are the snapshots. I have searched almost all the options but couldn’t find the settings, I am randomly getting similar alarms for few server’s , VM Device’s & Wireless Device’s. Please let me know the solution. Hi. I am using opmanager 9 build number 9010. i have added cisco 3560 catalyst switch and enabled snmp on the device. i can verify the snmp credential from device snapshot page. i also verified it from mibrowser.bat under RFC mib sysoid . to make sure i re added performance monitors to the device.but when i edit performance monitor and cilick test monitor. it says "The monitor did not respond to the test request ". Timestamp different
Hi...Having some issues with the Timestamp for the alarms and other things in the system. Opmanager it self shows the correct format "20 Jan 2012, 14 : 48 : 32 CET" but the alarms shows "Jan 20,2012 02:43:55 PM" How can I change the alarm timestamp so it shows the 24 hour time insted of 12 hour?

SNMP Community Name Issue with '%' Symbol
Hi, I have a read-only SNMP community name for a Cisco router and it has a mixture of numbers, letters and symbols in it. OpManager is having a problem with the '%' symbol as it is excepted but then adds a '\' to the community obviously then stopping SNMP from working. I can't change the community name as it isn't managed by myself. Is there anyway around this issue? Thanks. Pete.
How to clear alarms automatically after processing them
Hi I have more than 100 devices in the opmanager 9, each time an alarm is generated, we get an email and one of us troubleshoot the issue and correct the situation. My question is how to configure and allow opmanager 9, after we correcte the situation, to double check that issue and clear that alarm. how to apply windows service monitor to multiple device
I need to monitor the same set of windows services on multiple windows servers. Do I need to manually setup each server one by one? Or is there a way to apply this to multiple windows server in one shot? I have a large number of servers. Therefore, manually change each one by one is problematic.
Question about the dell server temperature displays
Is it possible to change the label of the instance field to something like Ambient air or CPU instead of the .1.1 or .1.2? Also the monitor shows it in Tenths of a Degree Centigrade for example 434 instead of 43.4 C is there a way to put the . to limit confusion? I know that Dell OpenManage shows the temps as 43.4. Many years ago you use to be able to do custom graphs by adding the code to the xml file.
How to setup a notification profile for disk utilization profile
Hello, I have about 100 servers that I need to add an email alert for disk utilization thresholds. How can I apply a notification profile to all 100 servers without having to go through all of them? When I go to associate for the email notification profile, the only option for threshold is for all thresholds. Is there a way to do this in bulk so I dont have go through each device individually?

Hi, OPManager is generating false alarm of one solaris server. No graph CPU Utilization on the Linux Redhat
There is no graph CPU Utilization generated when monitoring. Both SNMP Agent from AdventNet and CLI failed the testing. When I test for Disk and Memory it also passed. What seem to be the problem. It cannot generate the necessary graph and data. Please help. thank you.. ffatullah

lsass.exe - CPU runing at 100%
Running Opmanger on a VM windows 2008 with 2 cpu with 8 GB RAM, still Opmanager is using the lsass.exe windows process at 100%. I think it has something to do with Opmanger is polling every x minutes because lsass.exe is the Local Security Autority. Anyone else?
Total page counts for monthly reports
Part of a maintenance contract we have on our printers requires a monthly report of total pages printed over the previous month. We cannot find a way to pull this information in an OpManager report. The SNMP polling is working and it is pulling page counts because we do see snapshots of pages printed throughout the day but no where can I find a way to pull total pages for the month or just total pages period and we can subtract from total of the previous month. Mainly using HP Laserjets.
Not recieving trap notification
Sir, I have set up NMS with Manage Engine and added remote switches, I'm able to access the memory and CPU utilizations and gets information about interface up down status. But Im not getting any messages or alarms when an interface goes down. I'm system admin and not a network specialist. I have tested with a switch having bpdu problems by putting it up and down. I dont get any messages indicating that. How to solve the issue This is the configuration I have done in that Switch snmp-server community

After successful adding, unable to find the device

Admin/Add Device - I clicked on the Admin/Add Device button. On the new page I added the IP, the netmask and the correct credentials to use (I checked it several times). - A new page appeared with the "Info: Device added successfully." phrase. - After this, I can't find this "successfully added" device. how to migrate db to mssql.
HI team, I want to use mssql instead of mysql. I have installed mssql on the same server with opmanager. I am using opmanager db configuration browser. DB Host - localhost port - 1433 username and password are same which i have provided at the time of mssql installation. I am getting an error "hostname or port is incorrect". Hello, We added few linux servers in opmanager and the devices are discovered successfully but no information is displayed in cpu and disk utilization dials. I used the mib browser and got the below result for the .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2 oid Sent get request to 10.12.11.22 : 161 Request Failed: Get Response PDU received from 10.12.11.22 Error Indication in response: There is no such variable name in this mib. WMI monitors stopped working
Good morning to everyone. Last Friday (Dec 9th) we updated our OpManager setup to V9 build 9010. Everything was running just fine for several hours after the update. That same day at 00:00 all WMI monitors stopped working. I can see reports up until Dec 9th 23:58 but nothing after this date and time. When I check the SNMP and WMI credentials they all pass. All monitored devices stopped responding to all WMI monitors. No updates were installed on the monitored systems or on the OM server except

Interfaces are not discovering
Hi, In one of our cisco router interfaces are not shown. As procedure I have done the following steps 1. Went to the snap shot of the device and then to the interface tab. (figure interface1.png). 2. I'm monitoring a URL and graphing the number returned. this works well enough. The issue is the apparent need to attach the script to a server .. the data being monitored has nothing to do with the server and confuses people when they see an alert ..
removing custom SNMP Monitors ..
I've been experimenting with the SNMP monitors and have collected a few that just don't work right. How do I go about deleting them from the lists? Annoying having to come up with new names when I adjust one. thanks
Displaying graphed data from a script monitors on the dashboard.
Example would be data we get from our service reporting the number of logged in users. The script is working and I can view the graph when I view the server I've attached the script to. I'd like this data to be displayed on a dashboard that we have setup on a big monitor. is this possible?

Server based monitors
We are rebuilding our opmanager environment, and over the years some of our servers have had process and/or URL monitors added to them individually to the server, rather than the admin console. This causes an issue because the associations are only shown from a monitor that's been placed in the admin console. I need a query that can be executed to identify all the process and/or url monitors associated to any given server. Please Help.
problem in adding a device
I am trying to add a device opmanager is saying "device is already present in the system" but when i am searching that device it is saying "no result found sorry your search returned no results". Before adding the device I checked it in mibsbrowser using mibbrowser.bat The device is a solaris server.

I am trying to install OpManager 9.0 but at the point of configuring the MS SQL server details it always fails with the following message: "Host name is invalid or not reachable" I've specified the details as follows: Hostname: mysqlserver\opmanager Port: 50490 Database Name: OpManagerDB Username: mydomain\opmanservice Password: ******** I know these details are correct but still it fails. opmanager migration problem
Hi all, We have problem with opmanager migration and i have a few questions about our issues. Currently we have 8052 build and mssql 2000 database on another physical server than opmanager. We want to migrate to 9011 64-bit version and sql 2008. I installed 9011 64-bit version on ws2008 r2 64-bit. During installation opmanager database was automaticaly created on sql 2008.
