SMS escalation in opm 12.3
We have a need for sms escalation localy on the opm-server. With older editions we have had sms-modem enabled but in release 12.3 there is a change in the setup-settings form. The sms-modem haven't been stable for us but sometimes it sends a bunch of messages... We are using opm to monitor default-gw and other network-links and are on a very isolated network so we need gsm-sms from the opm server not depending on external SMS-services/providers How can we setup this in a reliable way? 1.external
Migrating OpManager from 64 bit version to 32 bit version
We have an existing OpManager from 64 bit version and we'd like to integrate this with checkpoint firewall. But we're unable to migrate because OP Manager 64bit is not supported by this checkpoint. So, we'd like to migrate from 64 to 32. Thanks

Hi, I am trying to add a service monitor for one of our servers but I'm getting the following error: 'Windows services could not be monitored for this device. To enable windows service monitoring, you have to configure an administrator username and password for this device.' How do I rectify this?
Monitoring of a non-Member Server (Active Directory)
Is it possible to monitor a Server that is not a member Server in the domain. I defined a user/credential for WMI requests in our AD but we have also Servers in a DMZ for security reasons which we would like to monitor too. Is there a way to make this possible?

Hello, I moved our instance of OpUtils from an older server to a new one. I followed the instructions here https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/kb/articles/migrating-opmanager-from-one-server-to-another I am trying to run the program and getting an the error Ports.properties (Access is denied). I ran StartOpManagerServer.bat and it states port 13306 isn't available, Please free the port [13306] before starting the server. VM info, Services, and some other info are not displaying after discover a VM
Hello vCenter is added but for every VM that is newly created, information is incomplete. but when we add that vm manually as a separate machine it shows complete data. WMI monitors are working after discovery buy snmp is only working when manually added. vcenter and VM are ping by name and IP and there is no DNS issue. what is the problem?
Problem with version 123129 custom monitors
Hello After upgrading to 123129 then custom string monitors started to give me random values. They showed correct information before the upgrade. snmpwalk -v 3 -u user -l authPriv -a MD5 -A password -x DES -X password XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10.1.3.1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laLoad.1 = STRING: 14.40 This is load average 1minute for linux. License Issue - v12.3.119
Hi, Having issue with new probe. When logging in, says license NCM device license exceeded by 45 devices. Says I can delete/unmanage devices but does not show any devices in the list and I am unable to get past this page. Where is the correct location for the license file in OpManager? Hi all, I am getting yet more compatibility issues with OPMan and it is starting to become very frustrating. Last week I had to upgrade to the latest version because of Flash Compatibility issues with Business Views of Maps and now, I've noticed a scroll bar has appeared on the right hand side of the view when I'm looking at a device. This occurs no matter what browser I'm using - see attached image. Can you please advise?

I am looking easy way to create these records in every probe system. for example, can I use API to add / update / delete CI, notification and others records in probe? Linux CLI monitoring
I cannot get Linux CLI monitoring to work. when i add a device via CLI it shows up as Unknown and does not let me add monitors, if i manually set Type and Vendor for the added machine i can then add monitors and they work however once rediscovery happens it resets to unknown. How can i get a device monitor by CLI to show up as Server, Linux. I do not have or want to use SNMP i want to use Linux CLI.
Business View
Hi, We have a view of all our sites and they show as green, amber or red - depending on the issue. Recently I added extra devices to a few of the sites but when they alert and change colour within the view, they don't change colour on the main screen (see attached). Additionally, the Business View on the home page used to show the entire map of all our sites but now it cuts off the bottom half of the map - is there any way to fix this (also attached)?

Good afternoon, i have been asked to keep an eye on how many machines are being added/removed from our opmanager on a daily basis. Is it possible to setup a notification for when a machine is added to the monitoring either manually or automatically during scan? Add Custom Device Icons for Business View Maps
Support, I am currently running OpManager version 12.3.091. Could you please assist in providing the process required for uploading custom .PNG images for device icons in OpManager and which .XML file needs to be edited if necessary? I find the device icons included in OpManager to be very limited, so I'm ok with adding my own -- hopefully in a future update you could provide users with a larger selection of icons or even provide a method for uploading custom icons via the WebClient. Issues adding a Cisco Catos based switch to NCM
I'm trying to add a Cisco Catalyst 6509 to OpManager & NCM. The device is discovered correctly when I add it to OpManager but it fails to add to NCM even though the tick box to add to NCM is ticked. when I try to add it to manually all goes OK at first. I can select the correct vendor & device template (Cisco CatOS switch) etc but on the next screen when I come to select protocol I only get the options of "Telnet-tftp" or "ssh-tftp" - The device is only accessible by telnet. Hello How can I set up that opmanager starts to send email notifications when vmware datastores size goes under threshold. I can put it to create alert in web only, but there is no option to add notification profiles to device.
