We need to report when a device has fell behind on firmware, most SNMP records report back as strings. I can see that your defaulted fields correctly convert to numeric so why don't the custom performance monitors do this: Example: D-Link DSR1000ac OID - .1.3.6.1.4.1.171.20.3.11.1.4.1.1.4.0 This reports firmware 3.11 But the performance monitor converts this to 3 which is useless We need this to convert the string properly ie 3.11 Also we have the Billion 8900AX The firmware comes back as string
Interfaces - Billion Gateways
We have many Billion GWs (7800VDOX) deployed and need to monitor their interfaces adding as an SNMP with public community it comes up successfully however unlike other devices added there is no data on the network interfaces so we cannot monitor port traffic activity. What do we need to do to activate this? Note, an SNMP walk does report the data correctly. How to add ESX host in Opmanager
I am not getting ESX Discovery under Setting > Discovery> VM Discovery , only Vcenter Discovery is not coming . Can anyone tell how to add ESX host in Opmanager. OpManager version 12100 (64 Bit)
Is it time to upgrade or replace?
Last year we tested out the latest version of Opmanager at the time. It had too many issue for us to make the upgrade. At the time we decided to look into alternatives. Now we have the funds and the decision needs to be made for us to either upgrade or replace. I would like to know if some of the issues we had have been fixed? 1) Can non-snmp enabled devices be added? We could not get them to add when we tested. We have a lot of devices (100+) we only want to monitor with pings. They do not support

OP manager 11.5 widgets and correct oid for centos servers
I manage several centos servers, apparently the widgets display a different value it goes to show they might be using a different oid for example memory utilization is different on a linux environment thus it will show 99% utilizationn thouhg we all know that linux machines handle memory in a different maner Plus the built in snmp monitors are wrong, we had to create custom moniotrs for it to work is there any way we can correct this
OpManager to enable encrypted connections with MSSQL Database
We have recently enabled SSL encryption for connections on our SQL Cluster. However, in doing so it has broken our connections for OpManager. Is there any way to set OpManager to enable encrypted connections on it as well?

Hi, I'm currently running OpManager 11, and am looking for a way to view what port a device was on, on a switch 6 weeks ago. I have the MAC Address, IP and Name of the device, but I need to find out what switch port it was on. Is there any way to do this? Thanks Chuck
Installing a new OpManager
I'm going to ask you guys for help on one thing. The opmanager (11600) that we used was installed on a new server. when installing to the new server, select PostgreSQL as its database and complete the installation. We can not add the backup file we got from the old server to our new server. Why is this problem causing?
Monitoring of Domain Controllers
Hello there We are looking into monitoring our D/C's from OpManager but will not allow a service account to be a domain admin. I have found https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/kb/articles/how-to-configure-a-non-admin-user-for-wmi-monitoring but Domain Controllers do not have security groups to add a user to . Can you please advise what permissions are required for a service account to actually monitor multiple DC's? I would like to see replication traffic if possible.

Hi after i backup data and restored to a new opmanager server my switches interface's graphs have nothing to report ad show me "No Data" instead of this in,performance report also show me No data available in this period when i change the period to data before my backup everything is ok but after that is nothing also i try to add a new device but the new device also interface graphs has no data what ca i do for this problem?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is an issue with the software or not but every time I click on Dashboard>Infrastructure Snapshot>URLs, all I get is a blank screen (see attached). This is a little frustrating as I need to make changes to some URL monitoring and I can't get in to view them. Can you advise?

Add DHCP Server scan failed
Hello, after adding the DHCP server to monitor the scopes, it gives an error saying scan failed. The DHCP server is runing on a windows 2016 server and have the scopes replicated to another server. Any idea on how can i troubleshoot this problem? Thanks
Migration OpManager 11.6 to 12.X with NetFlow and IPAM Standalone
Hello, we're still running Opmanager 11.6 (+ Application Manager Plug-In) + NetFlow 10.2 and OpUtils 8.0 in Standalone mode. I would like to upgrade to the latest versions of OpManager step by step now. I followed your video tutorial, but it only shows how to migrate with NetFlow & IPAM as a plug-in. How would I have to proceed now? Request an upgrade pack of Opmanger incl Application Manager Plug-In without OpUtils and NetFlow? And then transform my standalone licenses of NetFlow and OpUtils into
WMI Monitors section missing
in opmanager 12.3.024 there is a section for WMI monitors when adding a monitor. These include helpful monitors such as CPU Utilization and Partition details of the device. in opmanager 12.3.048 this entire section is gone and there appears to be no good way to add these monitors. Can we get this section added back I have attached screenshots of what I am referring to.
Executing Powershell after alert triggers
Good afternoon, I have setup a folder monitor and when it triggers i need to execute a powershell script to remove the offending file. I have had a look through workflows and cannot see anywhere to execute a Powershell script. Is there any other way or am i missing something within the workflows?

Folder Monitor - Path not found
Using OpManager 12. When adding a folder monitor on a server monitored by WMI I receive a path not found error (after clicking on Test Monitor). I know the path exists and can be accessed using the account used by WMI in OpManager. The same monitor worked in OpManager 11. We are just looking to monitor that a particular folder exists and alert if it does not exist. Thank yo.

I have applied added some monitors to a device template in this case Windows 2008 R2. However when the monitors get applied they are set to "no, just alerts" under store data. Is there anyway to set them to "yes,i need graphs". without having to go to each device and change it?

Monitoring stopped. Only few devices are collecting data. Check "Devices/Monitors by DataCollection Failure" widgets under System Performance Dashboard to analyse the problem.
Good morning, We are having a constant issue with our OpManager 12300 stopping monitoring. I have rebooted and cleared message and it will reappear within a couple hours, if not straight away. I have a suspicion that it is caused by one WMI query but i am unable to track down which one. The logs are two big to attach here so can you provide the link for uploading it via FTP? Many thanks
Bandwidth Report- PDF Option
In the Bandwidth Report when I click on the "PDF" button the report saves as "application/octet stream". I've tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer, neither one will save the report as PDF. We are on build 12300 and need the ability to save the reports as PDF.
