Device not monitored
Hi, I recently set up a number of monitors for wireless access points so that we would know if they were up or down. One of them is currently down and I knew this when setting up the alerts but wanted to test how it alerted. Whereas the others are saying 'clear', the one circled in the attachment says 'device not monitored' when you click into it yet on the map it is green as if it is up and pinging. How do I amend this to show that the device is actually down?

HTTP URL Monitoring
I've found several other discussions concerning URL Monitoring of https sites with TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2. We are running the current build 12.3 and need to know the current status of this issue because it's appears to be unresolved. I attempted to setup two monitors this morning for a site using TLS 1..2 and neither monitor worked.
Change of time window in reports

FTP Port 20
I've been informed by my security team that they have detected traffic from our OpManager server to all of the clients on Port 20, the originating port on the OpManager server was 44858. Why is OpManager querying or attempting to connect to our Windows and Linux clients, and all of our switches, firewalls, etc on port 20. _Total in MSSQL metrics
I have several DBs. Most of these are having Log Files Used Percentage lower than 50. One of these has about 98. And I have _Total as 97. I wonder how the _Total counted and if there's an option to monitor without this confusing element. Edit: After shrinking the log of one of the DBs from 98 to 75% the _Total changed to 11.
Monitoring via ICMP
In OpManager, Can anyone tell me that If the device is monitored by ICMP not by WMI and SNMP, Can I still receive the email or sms alert if the device is down ? Thanks

Process monitor
I notice one of the the OpManager process monitor value is not pooling the same value as at the system that i monitored . The value in the Linux systems using top command is different from the OpManager process monitor value.

Dear Netflow team, I watch on Netflow Analyzer with information below: - On the "Edit interface detail" tab, the "Bandwidth Capacity IN/OUR (bytes)" line ~> i understand there are byte parameter (Byte/second), not bit - On the "Traffic" tab, the "Utilization is calculated with Link Speed of xxx.0 Mbps. xxx.0 Mbps" line ~> i understand there are bit parameter (Megabit/second), not byte. So, i don't know how to understand it right.

Event log
I have created a new event log alert. But when I go to the server Event logs is not on the list to be monitored. All that is theres is Performance Monitors, WMI Monitor, Exchange Monitor and MSSQL monitor. How to I add event log to the list.
12.2 OpManager VCenter sessions
We have over 900 Active sessions to our VCenter server that are coming from one of our OpManager probes. The service account that we have assigned to monitor VCenter from the probe has over 900 Active sessions and is causing issues for other users. Is this normal behavior?

Problem with network monitor
I install ManageEngine OpUtils 8 on Windows 8.1. Sometime I must restart PC to ManageEngine send alert email of Network monitor tools.
OPManager stops polling snmp for few devices - What do I have to check ?

V12300 Dashboards
Since the upgrade to v12300 our dash boards are not displaying correctly on our wall board. As such some of the boards are displaying on two pages which is no good to us as we need them on one page. I think the reason maybe because the real time graphs are now displaying some stats below the graph? is there a way to switch this off? Also our business view is going onto two pages for some reason that we cant work out. We have also got the same issue of the CCTV views resetting themselves that we experienced

Hello, I feel like I'm missing something very basic here. How do you reclassify alerts? I'm trying to make it so that a device that misses 3 polls is marked as Critical rather than Trouble. I haven't found how to do it anywhere in the interface. I'm aware of how to modify thresholds on the device profiles to classify alerts generated through those, but not for 'Device Down' scenarios. Hi Guys, So i was setting up OpManager and i created a configuration to monitor 4 servers, The Alarms and Notifications coming from the servers should not be triggered Real time, The CPU as an example can spike up and down frequently so to avoid in a way the spam i would like the CPU alarm to be delayed or perhaps be checked a few times more before it sends me an email. so i have these two screenshots and what is the combination of these that would allow me this. Opmanager Performance monitors
Hi I currently have an issue with Opmanager (Build 12300) where as the performance monitors are not triggering, so even though (for example) a disk has reached its threshold, the monitor stays as normal and doesn't change to Violated, this then meaning no email is sent. When I run the test monitor it connects and pulls back the violated percentage, but it doesn't switch the threshold from Normal to Violated. Any suggestion would be really appreciated. I have deleted a server and re added it all back
Upgraded from 11.6 to 12.2, custom hostname for Opmanager not working
I've just upgraded from 11.6 to 12.2 (Essentials) . I can log into the server using the actual hostname of the server. But can no longer connect using the custom host name. The SSL Cert (which matches the custom hostname) is still working, as can see it load with the local (incorrect) hostname. Even when connecting to the custom hostname, the cert loads and reports valid, but nothing else loads- no login screen. It seems like a host header entry is missing somewhere perhaps?
Impossibile to delete custom "Performance Monitor"
Hello everybody, I'm trying to migrate OpManager Build 11000 to the version Build 12300 into a new machine. Into the new version I'm trying to add some "Performance Monitors" and for some reason my new monitors don’t work. So, I want to delete my “Performance Monitors” that I’ve created but there is no way. How I can delete it? Another important point is that: if I try to edit my first monitor that I created (name is “DATAPROBE IN01”), in the edit box there is no data, no SNMP OID, etc… Any idea?

Has anyone tried doing reports using the SQL DB? The build in reports are not very useful nor very nice to look at. So I was wondering if anyone have tried pulling data from the DB to excel in order to get a better view of the data
Not collecting
OpManager seems to be working (page is up, db is on, services are running) but we can't see any movements on the console. Please advise if you have had a similar issue
