No interface utilization Details display
Sir, I need to monitor the serial interface in a cisco 3700 router. I can see the interface traffic. But no interface utilization Details display. Why? Sam.
Loading mibs in a certain order
My understanding is that all mibs under the mibs folder will be loaded on startup correct? After watching OpManager boot several times I have to problems/questions. 1. Is there a place to see what mibs are already loaded in memory at bootup? I have check using MibBrowser.sh and it only shows the RFC 1213 mib loaded until I tell it to load all mibs. 2. When OpManager boots it does not load all the mibs. I find I have to go into MibBrowser.sh and tell it to load the mibs 3 or 4 times to load them all
How does Opmanager DB link together?

Problem with DB configuration
I am having problems with the DB migration. It comes up with the message "connection error, please verify the details" . However, if i change either the password or username i have provided the message returned is "login or username incorrect". If I change the host or port details the message returned is "host or port name incorrect". Which password do I need to provide in the opmanager DB configuration. Any help much appreciated! Domain Controller Alerts don't work
Hi, I'm testing OpManager, and so far it looks very promising, except for the fact that I have a domain controller (Windows 2003) added as device, but when I configure a threshold, the alarm for that threshold is never activated. I added all the monitors under Active Directory Services (which include Memory Utilization). Then I go to System Monitors and set a threshold for Memory Utilization). Cisco Router and PIX monitoring don't work
helo, I'm trying opmanager for view online status for cisco 2800 and pix 515e. where I can find simple configuration for cisco? I tried set some snmp-server commands, but it didn't work. server with opmanager and both cisco are in the same subnet.

Feature Request - Reports - Domain Controllers
Would like to be able to run these reports: - Inventory by Business View This report should include any routers, switches, servers *including domain controllers. With Sub-headings for each category type. - Would like reports to include selectable custom fields. For example one of the custom-fields I've added is "Server Role", I would like reports to include that, and perhaps our propertyID tag etc., - Server Inventory Reports currently do not include Domain Controllers, and there is no built-in report
Network and Performance Counters for Domain Controller
I've just installed the free version of OpManager. I've added a domain controller, and get statistics for cpu, memory, disk, lsass, ntfrs, and ad store, but network and performance counters only ever display "N/A" (been running for a couple of hours now). Dell PowerConnet 6024
Hello, new to OpManager, loving it so far, however I dont think I yet grasp using vendor specific mibs. I want to monitor about 10 Dell 6024 PowerConnect Switches, I went to dells website and downloaded the mib files for the 6024. Inside the zip file I downloaded there are 73.mib files. I put them into the mib directory, but what do I do next to allow opmanager to view specifics on the device? Regards

I have some routers and the discovery process didn't find routers interfaces without IP number. I use the interfaces with "ip unnumbered".
Wrong Icons Displayed for Domain Controllers
Greetings, I have seven DC's in the Domain Controller Infrastructure View. Of those seven DC's, only two are displayed with the DC icon. The other five show up as Win2K servers. If I go into the Snapshot screen for each one, they are identified as DC's. What can I do to get them to use the correct icon on the various views?
Managing Laptops
This is an issue on our network as we have approx 30 laptops that come on and off the network regularly. Login account for Service Desk Integration
I am trying to evaluate these two products and have integration working fine with the default administrator account for SDP. However we only have two techs and want to use them for SDP but I get Unable to fetch values from ServiceDesk Plus, The server might not be running or the network traffic may be too high. I have Active Directory authentication enabled in SDP and most likely need to include a domain in the login, but DOMAIN\USER is not working, can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here?

Resource Monitors
Since applying the new hotfix apart from the default resource monitors i.e. CPU, Disk & Memory utilisation if you click on them to show the graph you now get a Status message which says data is yet to be collected for this device. I have tested the monitors and they work in fact the alerts that we have setup on the partition utilisation monitors appear to be working but the graphs don't. The reports for volume usage also work. OpUtils tools in Opmanager?
Are there any plans to add the tools that are available in OpUtils to the OpManager software? I would think that since OpManager is OpUtils with Server management you would be able to use such tools. I was going to buy OpUtils but I also needed to monitor servers as well so I bought OpManager. I notice going thought the OpUtils demo that there are many many network tools and features that are badly needed in OpManager in order to manager a network but they are not included. When will OpUtils feature
Monitoring Multiple CPU's
Can OpManager monitor each processor running on a multi-processor server? I assume in order to do this is it a custom monitor right? I have a Dell 2850 I need to monitor each processor on.

OpManager Support fot HP Procurve 5308 with E10.23 s/w
I'm running v6 OpManager which supports one of two HP 5308s switches though they both run v10.23 s/w. OpManager however reports v10.04. Is there anything I need to do to get it to report v10.23? Also, for some strange reason the second switch cannot be monitored in real-time to show CPU and memory utilisation. Have I missed anything? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Many Thanks Lee

New Windows Service Monitor

I know I am using the right username (domain\username) and password because if I add the user to the administrators group on this server, it works fine. However if I remove the user from the administrators group, it ceases to work. MSSQL Data Space Statistics
When we look at the graphs for the application monitor MSSQL Data Space of DB, the titles are all ".x KBytes". We believe this needs to be the name of the database. How can we fix this?
Assigning a graph profile
I'm trying to setup graphs for a server that does not have snmp enabled. In the manual (page 174), it states to 'Refer to assigning a graph profile to a Non-SNMP device for details' I can't find this section. I have WMI resource monitors setup and they are getting responses. Anyone know how to modify the graph profiles? Thanks Chuck

Create business views on Linux installed in console mode
Hello. I am just now testing the OpManager product installed on Debian in console mode. Is there some way to run the admin tool remotely since I do not have a GUI environment on my server? It would be nice if that functionality was available in the web client interface.

Windows 2000 Servers Not Monitored Correctly
Support, I have been using OpManager for a while now, and i am very impressed with how well it monitors windows 2003. However its ability to monitor windows 2000 seems to be somewhat hampered. I am unable to correctly monitor any Windows 2000 servers. I continually get authentication errors even when i know 110% that the usernames and passwords are correct and so are the SNMP community strings.
