I configured the proxy settings and downloaded the GeoIP database, but when I click the "Show Geo Locations" button, I go from this: To this: Is there something else I need to do to show the locations?
Are there invalid data in Netflow analyzer
Hello, Am seeing CBT protocol in top N protocols. According to netflow analyser application mapping CBT uses port tcp/udp 7777. Why is it being listed in protocols? I did a search using ip_proto flag in netflow and i can't see any protocol by that name all proto i can see is tcp, udp, gre, icmp and esp. Thanks. Regards, Kaviraj
Statistics wrong?
Hi, After using Opmanager to monitor bandwidth for a while now, I yesterday activated the netflow plugin and configures our CISCO ASA accordingly. Most things seem to work fine beside that the statistics I get seem to be wrong. We have a 15 MBit line. But the traffic statistics show up to 500 MBit (seen netfow screenshot attached). At the same time, monitoring via SNMP shows the correct information. (see SNMP screenshot). What could be wrong here? Thanks Robert
All interfaces are detected in Netflow but NO Traffic In/Out for CiscoASA 5500-X
I know I have configured my new CiscoASA 5516-X and 5525-X FWs right according to my existing CiscoASA5520. I just copied the same procedure in ASA from SNMP and Service Policy Rule based from my ASA5520. The OPManger Netflow has already detected the ASA devices and interface and even showing status is up and updated flow. However, I still havent gotten any IN and OUT traffic. I need help where I missed. See attached the issue of IN and OUT
Netflow real time / live data
We are evaluating Netflow Analyzer. I am trying to find out if the traffic I am looking at under All Devices -> Interface View is live or real time. Or is it delayed by an hour. Because whenever I look at the time range, the end is always and hour form the current time. This also happens when we drill down into the traffic details. We need to be able to view the traffic as close to real time as possible so that we can rectify any immediate issues. Thanks.

report data unreliable after upgrade to NetFlow Analyzer 9.5 build 9500
Following my upgrade to the recently release Build 9500 update, my reports have become unreliable. I've seen a number of odd issues, such as: some reports have a new title when displayed, something like Aranajam data is inconsistent. e.g. a report with certain criteria with a time frame of the last 24 hours shows 12 flows, but if you change the timeframe to the last hour, and regenerate the report, it shows 279 flows (which is probably the correct number). The two reports are clearly inconsistent,

Netflow analyser 9 pro, Received alerts dont match the traffic graphs.
Hi Guys We are having a problem with our alerts on Netflow Analyser, if for example I configure an alert to tell me when a link exceeds 95% utilisation - 15 times - in 15 minutes. I receive an alert that says the link is running at 97% so I go to the graphs to check whats happening; and i see on the link in question from the graph and metrics that the link is running at 93% utilisation and reviewing over the hour or 30mins of even the last 15mins shows the link didnt exceed 95% utilisation. any ideas?
Runaway Java processes?
Hi All, Recently installed NetFlow Manager (64bit - linux) - and it all is nice and well. We have noticed however that since running NetFlow Manager, that it is starting an huge amount of java processes, and they never seem to be killed. As the attached graph indicated, we litterally have a linear growth in process count, and they never seem to be killed at all. I am worried that the amount of java processes spawned, will eventually kill our server. We currently have 452 java processes running,
Unaccounted or no data
Hi, I am using the 8.5 Porfessional Plus Netflow and have the following problem: All my data shows as “Unaccounted” in the Application, Source, Destination. And the Conversation tab doesn’t show data unless i set the time filter to “Last 6 Hours” and above. If I set it to "Last 15mins" or even "Last 30mins" it just shows as "Unaccounted" and the conversation shows nothing. Please help with this.
Only reporting Outbound Traffic
We have just upgraded to version 8 proffessional and since then we only get Outbound traffic reported on most of our Cisco router interfaces. This was fine on previous version , can you please advise what I can look at to fix this. Nothing has changed on the routers at all. many thanks for any help.

Netflow - Admin menu wont drop down
Hello, The admin menu in Netflow V9 wont drop down. this occurs in IE7,8 & 9 and Safari. Is added to local intranet zone and Enabled or Prompt selected for all options for this zone. Netflow server was restarted with no change. With script errors turned on getting - Line: 262 Error: Unable to set value of the property 'innerHTML': object is null or undefined Any ideas? Reporting mismatch

What is the difference (algorithm) between the IN/OUT Traffic counters from the <Interface View> Tab and the "Avg" counters from the <Speed-Graph> screen (see the following pictures). Hello! I downladed trial version of NetFlow Analyzer 8.6.8600 for test purpose. I activate NBAR on Tunnel interface my Cisco router ((C3845-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(22)T). I configure custom NBAR protocols on my Cisco Router by followed commands: ip nbar custom cifs tcp 445 ip nbar custom rdp tcp 3389 ip nbar custom kaspersky tcp 13000 When i use command show ip nbar protocol-discovery on my Cisco Router i see statistics for this protocol, but in NetFlow Analyzer 8.6.8600 i see this traffic

Hello! In Netflow Analyzer 8.6.8600 i see dashboards with Top Protocols for last 1 hour (screenshot in attachment), 78% + 37% + 4% + 3% it's bigger than 100%. I understand why i see such statistics.

I have installed NetFlow on my linux server under root and it looks like it is collecting successfully. I can log into the app using http://[IP]:8080 and when I click on the "One Min Graph" on the Interface View then there is a Java error shown below. Netflow Analyzer 7 Professional Post Crash Problem
We currently have Netflow Analyzer 7 Professional running on a windows 2003 R2 SP2 server. A couple of days ago we discovered that Netflow had crashed. When you tried to access the Netlfow Analyzer web-console you got an "Apache Tomcat 404 error". Starting the Netlfow Analyzer console from the servers start menu shortcut caused the browser to hang and not display a window. Hello, The reports are all 6 hours behind the real time for exemple the last hour report generated at 14:00 will be between 06:00 to 07:00 I think that the netflow is getting the time from the host on which is installed any idea on how can I get the right time Netflow version 6 Regards
Apparent loss of historical traffic record
Hello, We're running NetFlow Analyzer 7.0 (build 7000) on RHEL 4.0 and recently noticed that the historical information has either disappeared or is no longer being displayed. Traffic graphs and data points display for no longer than 15 minutes at best (often 10 minutes). Disk space is NOT an issue. We're configured to maintain 3 days of raw dataand we've only used 67 of our licensed 100 interfaces. Restarting the services on the server has not helped. If someone could please point me toward

Netflow Analyzer 6.1 Build 6100 PDF reports graphs not looking correct
Anyone have this issue? Been using this feature for over 2 years and recently my PDF reports of interface activity (the graphs specifically) are looking goofy By that I mean, the colors that display in and out traffic are all messes up in the graph. When looking at the graph in the application, it looks fine, its just the PDF version is messed up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

6509 NBar not supported
I just upgraded to Netflow Analyzer 8 (fresh install). It correctly found all my devices and used SNMP to identify them but I'm having some issues enabling NBAR. NBAR support is correctly identified on most of my NBAR capable switches and I can use the software to enable NBAR on them. I am having problems with several Cisco 6509 Switches with Sup720 and Sup720-10GE supervisors. The software says that NBAR is not available and not configured, even when I manually configure it.
IPGroups Order By Traffic
Hi, We've seen this throughout a number of versions and doesn't yet seem to be fixed. When we're in the IP Group view we cannot order by actual IN / Out traffic. When trying to order by traffic it does not differ between bps, kbps and mbps properly, i.e. it will list like: 107Mbps 90Mbps 87bps 10bps 5Mbps Ordering by actual utilisation is fine, however, utilisation is of no use to us. I am receiving auto generated mail regarding storage, I already checked the option "delete row date when free space is less then 45%" but i think it is not working well. Problems with ASAM Install
I've recently (last week) tried to install 7801 with ASAM and eventually had to back it out. Here is the synopsis of what happend. Downloaded 7801.exe Confirmed we're running v7600 Shutdown the Netflow service copied both data and mySql folders to another location (overlooked renaming the log folder) ran the update manager and selected 7801 Update completed without problems restarted Netflow service logged into netflow and appeared to be operating normally w/the ASAM Added some administrator level
Massive memory leak(?) on startup
Immediately after booting, with NetFlow service disabled, my winXPsp3 machine normally uses 390MB. After enabling the NetFlow service, and rebooting, the machine is using 1.35Gig! That's almost 1GB ram used, for what is essentially a program to listen to datastreams and log them into a database!!!! When I look at Processes running, there are two: mysqld-nt.exe = 125MB jave.exe = 115MB Even just looking at these figures, I can't believe how much memory these guys are using, for what should be a relative
DNS resolution not working in Build 9000
I've recently updated to Build 9000 and have noticed that DNS resolution is no longer working. I'm running on Ubuntu 10.4. DNS resolution works on the machine the build is running on and I've not changed any default settings in the admin panel. When I click 'resolve DNS', it looks like it 'tries' to, but then just shows the IPs again. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Netflow Analyzer showing traffic from ASA5510 in wrong direction
I am currently running the free edition of Netflow Analyzer 7 (Build 7600) and I have noticed for a while that the direction of traffic shown in Netflow is opposite of what ASDM is telling me. For example, if the ASDM is showing we are using 10Mbps downstream on the outside interface Netflow Analyzer says we are using 10Mbps upstream on that interface (which is wrong). Is there a setting I can look at to adjust this inside of Netflow Analyzer or do I need to examine the Netflow export settings
