STEP notification doesn't work
Actually it works on schedule but not sending emails. No presence of email attempts found in log. Smtp server is configured. Problem editing dashboard widget
When trying to edit a "Real Time Traffic" widget on the dashboard it will not let me select the interface I would like to monitor. It states that the "Interface Not Available". Thanks, Joe

Emails not being appended to tickets
Hi guys, got an odd one - the mail fetcher is working fine according to the wizard as is outgoing mail. New requests are being emailed through, however any updates issued by ticket requesters via email are not being appended to the ticket. Any ideas on when to start? Additional Info:Mail is accessed via IMAP - fetcher is set on the correct port, interval is 1min.IMAP is accessible, and the username and password are correct. This was verified by a telnet session to the server from the helpdesk server
SNMP Not working for Cisco Switch and ASA
I'm running OpManager Build Number 7100. I can get SNMP info from two Windows servers without a problem. But I have two Cisco switches and an ASA that I can only ping and not get any SNMP info from. They are configured correctly and I have the same model switches being monitored correctly at other client sites. Any ideas? Thanks,
Wrong disk information
Hi forum. I'm having problems with OpMan showing wrong disk information. On a backup server I have serval stacked disk arrays (HP MSA) and OpManager can't find out how to find the total size. (See attached pics.) Can anyone help me on this? Regards Kaspar Brygger
Can't delete alarm
Hi everybody. I'm having trouble and get an error when trying to clear or delete an alarm. It's only if a "Service" has been reporting problems and not in other categories. If I restart the server the alarms can be cleared/deleted but I don't want to restart every time I wan't to clear/delete a "Service" alarm. Anyone? Regards Kaspar Brygger
Interfaces not recognized in OpManager
Dear All, Recently I have upgraded and updated my OpManager version 7 (build number 7200) to version 8 (Service Pack 0 2 4). In the last weeks OpManager have faced problems reseting by himself (this problem already happened before) but in the last week the problem was major and was necessary to repair DB. WMI Monitor Issues
When trying to monitor CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization using WMI It fails to get results. When performing the test I noticed that it looks like there is a bad path when trying to run the scripts. Scheduled Reports Issue
I have set up a couple of alert summary reports (monthly and ytd) for 2 different monitoring groups that are supposed to go out the first of each month, but didn't run. Service Desk Plus hangs when geting large images
We had a serious issue with Service Desk Plus build 7514. Yesterday one of our client replied to a request putting in the email text a very large photo. On the server side the java process started to take 99% of cpu, and the whole application hanged. We resolved the issue by deleting the problematic email from the server. But for the future we expect Service Desk Plus to cope with such emails, or just drop them.
Primary server shows H/A not configured
Hi, I've followed H/A installation instructions and now primary server shows that HA is not configured, while secondary server shows "Connection Status: Alive" "Primary server is running at host: <correct IP of primary server>" According to the instructions primary server should also display status of HA sync. Issue with Service Desk Plus 7.5.0 Build 7514
Since upgrading from version 7 to 7.5 we have had a couple of issues the link between service desk plus to opmanager no longer works which is used to before. Secondly the contracts field description has been truncated so that you can no longer see all the information as previously in the older version
Category and subcategory editing
In helpdesk settings - category, we can see categories, but not subcategories. There is only add function, not view or delete for subcategories. Tree view cannot be printed if longer than one window. How to delete or rename items and subcategories? Also when deleting categories, it remain there, in grey colour. I find it very difficult to manage categories.
Info in email fetching
Dear Team I keep getting this error. Server started at : Wed Nov 04 10:42:03 GMT+03:00 2009. Current time is : Wed Nov 04 10:50:09 GMT+03:00 2009, which is less than 1 hour from server start time. Hence not checking mail checker for this time. The version is 7.5.0 Build 7513. Thanks
Missing information after license renewal
After a license renewal some "tabs" are missing as shown in the attachment. The search for assets, workstations and requesters is also not possible. In the Configuration Wizzard we now only see the Helpdesk, Users, User Survey and General-tasks Please help us out.
Group ID field all set to blank
We have been using the AdventNet helpdesk for a few months now and have several groups that tickets get categorized under like IT or IS, or programming request. It works fine and we've had no issues but just recently every ticket lost it's group, newly created tickets have no group and all the old ones don't either so everything is super messy now. Any ideas???

On two seperate computers I can log on to servicedesk web page. On a third it says page not found. The url is correct. What does the browser need in order for it to work (java, cookies, flash...) Thanks
Running OpManager and OpUtils on same server
Hi, I'm running OpManager and OpUtils on same server. The problem is that when I login to OpManager I get logged out from OpUtils and viceversa. How can I solve this problem?
Numbers instead of group names
After update from 7506 to 7514, group names are not presented. Instead there are numbers. When I want to change group, names are presented ok, but after changing in the request the group name is again presented as a number.
Real-Time Dashboard Widgets do not indicate when a threshold is breached
Hello, Real-time dashboard widgests should be customized to enable flashing RED or another color when a threshold is reached or breached. This way one would not need to remember the various therasholds for each monitor. Cheers, LeRoy

web page rendering problems in some Requests
Some requests, not all, affect the rendering of a page. The effect is that almost all names are highlighted as hiperlinks. You can see what i mean in the attached file.

Today we added a new UPS to our systems. We gave it an IP of 192.168.1.31, added the hostname and IP to DNS and it is working great. When we tried to add the device to Opmanager we got the following error: "An interface with this IP already exists for the device calnt19.teraint.net" This is not possible, as calnt19 has no interface with that IP. File attachment not working
I am using AdventNet ManageEngine SupportCenter Plus 7.0.0 and recently found out account users are not able to upload files as an attachment in the request they are submitting. When i click on attach file, it pops up new window for file attachment, by selecting file and clicking upload, it does not do anything. Can not figure out what the problem is. A lot of exception occur while using MSSQL
I'm using MS SQLServer 2005 (SP3, English) as my db. Problem is I can't see any status while monitoring my Active Directory (Domain Controller), all status and monitor give me "NA", but it can monitor its health, of course, health is OK. I try to find where the problem is, while seeing stderr.txt under logs folder, it shows A LOT OF exceptions such as Nms.store.NmsStorageException: Invalid object name 'AM_Script_Numeric_Data_10000011' java.sql.SQLException: Invalid object name 'AM_CAM_COLUMNAR_DATA_10000011'
Receiving "Updates failed"
Hi! I try to set an IP address at one device which only shows 0.0.0.0 If I try to set it I am only reveiving a javascript error message "Updates failed". If I click on "Ping device" I am reveiving the right IP address but I can't fill the right value into the IP address field so it generates an error that the device isn't available. I don't want to delete the device and readd it because there are a lot of values collected which I don't want to loose. I am using OpManager 8024. Hope you can help me
