Total allocated bytes show wrong values from oracle tablespace monitoring
We are testing Application Manager and some of our oracle tablespace monitoring is showing wrong values for Total Allocated Bytes. Below is the image of a problem monitor. See the users tablespace is showing 32,767 Allocated Bytes and only 640 Allocated Blocks(that is the correct size of tablespace 5Mb).
Cannot delete technician
I have deleted a technician from the technician list but he is still being assigned tickets via the round robin feature. The only place he shows is in the scheduler and under technician when trying to create a request. He is not listed as a technician or requester. it seems as if his technicain account is hidden. I saw a relationship associated with the department he used to be in but when I clicked on his name I received an error.
helpdesk tab of dashboard not showing for site restricted technician
we are trying to set up a site specific help desk where that sites technicians respond to that site's users. we have configured the user roles, assigned the site to the technician. when the technician logs in they see only their site tickets, so this works fine however, on the dashboard view, they only see the Change tab (part of the 'Problem and Change' tab), as they do not have problem access, and they do not see the 'Assets' tab as they do not have access to Asset - this is good behavior so far.

Underscores in usernames not being filtered out
We're setting a report that only shows usernames that haven't been added to the "Except" field in the report definition. This works fine for normal usernames, but doesn't work for usernames with underscores in them (e.g., DB_User). We've tried adding spaces and also HTML encoding (e.g., DB%5FUser) but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas of how to get this to work?
Technician Auto assign - all requests from 1 site on 1 tech
Need an option for auto assign, when requests is registring in system (in a day) and they are from 1 site, assign it to a 1 technician. I have 2 technicians Have 50 sites Some times users write requests and after categorization 1 request from a site #1 is going to tech #1, 2nd request from site #1 is going to tech 2. So tech #1 is working out only with 1 request, while he can resolve the 2nd request too. Can you make an adjustmets?
setting status of a task that is completed does not remove from task list
Running SDP Enterprise 8210 I have created a status to be used in our PM module called "Task Closed" I have set the type to "completed" When a tech is assigned a task in our PM module and has completed it, he is to set task status to "task closed". The problem we are having is when setting it the task status to task closed, it does not remove it from his task list. Only if he selects the status "closed" does it get removed from his task list. Problem with view requests by specific requesters
I recently had an issue viewing requests by specific users that wound up being an end-user issue that was resolved by Manaj. However now that I'm actually able to view requests by specific requesters, I'm noticing an issue. I know that requesters have an individual "requester id #" which is mainly just for the backend. Remote office DS License not compatable error
Hi team We are having an issue where the SOM Remote Office shows there is an "Incompatible License for Distribution Server ". We are seeing various inconsitancies in the application at our remote sites, including, remote hosts not installing client when pushed (but will if admin logs into host and deploys), software not deploying to remote site. Opmanager upgrade from 10000 to 10200; web interface no longer responding, etc...
Just upgraded our 10000 instance to 10200 and nothing seems to be working anymore.. I don't see the child processes pinging or sending SNMP requests. Crystal Reports: Closed Tickets by Customer changes counts when adding Priority Grouping

In ServiceDeskPlus On Demand, when editing a software license that is a CAL (Client Access License), the list of users that have been added to the license is not sorted. View Requests by specific Requester doesn't work
When I go into Admin>Requesters and click on a Requester; then click "View Requests", it never shows any requests by that requester. No matter which Requester I select and click View Requests, it says "No request found in this view". Am I doing something wrong? Please see screenshots below.

Adding "description begins with" Spam Filter
Hi, I noticed an issue when trying to add a "description begins with" spam filter. Once I add the filter "description begins with ...", it shows up properly. See below: But once I click save, it changes "Description begins with" to "Description ends with"... I've found that after doing this, I can add a "Description begins with" filter again, and then it keeps after saving. But then I have a "Description ends with" and a "Description begins with". Broken Attached Image in description after editing ticket
I'm having an issue (that only occurs sometimes) but is a pretty big nuisance. A requester puts in a ticket with an attached image; I then go in and edit the ticket in order to set the request details (without touching the Description). After saving the edits I made to the request details, the image in the description doesn't save properly. And when I check on the History of the ticket, I can see that it says the Description was changed from ".... [image]" to ".... [broken image]". Please see

Display issue with SDP iOS app
We have an issue where text that is entered for description/Worklog/Notes is sometime displayed incorrectly. By incorrectly I mean it displays the HTML formatting. See attached image. We even have one ticket with two Notes where one note is displayed correctly and another incorrectly. This occurs on IOS 6 & 7. This displays correctly on all other platforms.

DTC Agent
Hello All, I am new to Desktop Central and have taken over administrating it from a former employee. I have updated DTC to 80269 but I have noticed that the agent has not updated on the clients. Does the client automatically update or do I need to deploy the newer version to each client? I noticed that the previous admin had downloaded the agent for each site and put it in a common share. Then he created a GPO for each site to deploy the agent. Should I update the MSI for each site? Thanks, Liam

Linux 64bit SMS Gateway Problem
Hi, I installed opmanager 10.2 to Redhat 6.4 on vmware vm. It is working but there is one problem with sms gateway. My sms gateway connected with serial port. After sms configuration from admin page, whenever i enter the sms gateway configuration page then opmanager service stops. I manually start it again. But after entering the same page then stop again. i write only /dev/ttyS0, then i applied.
Can't create request for a specified user
My first line of support can't create request for a specified user. When request is created and saved, error dialog screen is reporting: "You cannot create a request for this user. The user belongs to a site for which you do not have access". Can't see where can I change site restrictions for my tech. What I did wrong?

Like other DFS implementations, we've deployed and configured two-way replication between our 2 file servers for fault tolerance purposes of files. asset name changed but can't scan it
Hi there, SDP version 8.2.0 build 8208 We scanned a cisco switch using default SNMP settings (public) and it successfully populate the IP address and subnet. After we change the name to SWITCH03, leaving the value of IP and subnet as it is, it failed to scan. It seems that the scan method always look for the Name field, regardless of the IP value. I do understand that this is mainly utilized for workstations since their hostname is registered in DNS, but do you have an advice for those snmp devices

windows 8 crashing
We have a windows 8 machine which frequently crashes beyond repair. Only a fresh install is possible. Once the system is rebuilt and put on the network, the DTcentral client gets installed via GPO. It crashes again. There is a error at event viewer as Unable to rotate the log files in Desktop Central Secure USB Collection. Anyone come across this ?

Hi, We are having a strange issue, where for quite a few software procucts, multipl entrys will be generated in the software inventory for the same versions of the same software. For instance i will see "SoftwareName" detected on most machines, but then the same software will be detected as "SoftwareName [Enterprise Edition]" and "SoftwareName [Express Edition]. This is three entrys for the same software. If i investigate the user machines, i see no reference in add/remove programs to Express
