SSO and AD Authentication failing for a single user
On a deployment with 800+ requesters, a single requester is having difficulties logging in. The user in question logs into windows just fine, and can access all other network resources without issue. When launching the ServiceDesk Plus website the SSO fails, and the user is shown a login screen. When he attempts to log in it kicks back an error saying invalid username/password. It works well over web browser on PC etc. But when we edit Request over mobile app(both Android, iOS), one of additional field(UDF_CHAR4) can't change. ADManager Plus not opening in Frame AD360

I'm relatively new to Desktop Central, but I found that this security update for Office 2007 seems to be missing from the database, either that or I'm looking in the wrong place, One way or another when I run Windows update on my Windows 7 machine it is reported as being needed, but DT Central sees my machine as up-to-date. I cannot assign the person with SDAdmin privileges with a change manager role
Running SDP build 9020 (postgres configuration). My account has the SDAdmin role and as such, I am do not see the listings of roles in my account details area and cannot add other roles to my account such as the change manager role. I am therefore not listed as one of the change mangers for changes. Not sure if a bug or I am missing something. Wayne
Call Closed emails not sending

With the exception of Windows and the first device added for Linux and Cisco devices, the icons for our devices are not displaying properly in the host list. They display as indicated below. I have two technicians that are no longer visible in the Technician list after I deleted a Role that they were a member of. If I attempt to add the accounts back I receive a message that the user account already exists. I need to figure out how to get the user accounts back in the list so I can add them to a different role. Thank you.

Are there invalid data in Netflow analyzer
Hello, Am seeing CBT protocol in top N protocols. According to netflow analyser application mapping CBT uses port tcp/udp 7777. Why is it being listed in protocols? Desktop Central integration with Service Desk Plus
Hello there, we have configured our Desktop Central and Service Desk Plus servers as described on page https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/help/configuring_desktop_central/dc_sdp_integration.html The connection test in SD runs successfully and does not report errors. Nevertheless, no asset data is posted from DC to SD, or at least no asset data is updated on the SD side. We are running SD build 9118 and DC build 91099. Any idea of what is going wrong? Hi Team, I have a user facing subject error while opening SD+ Test page He is able to open Production page but this error is only while opening Test link and this issue is only with one user other users are able to open Test and Prod both pages properly. Email alerts from Notification Profile out of time window
I created a separate notification profile for Virtual Device Performance Thresholds so I could turn off alerting overnight when backups are done. However I'm still receiving alerts after the time window expires. All of these emails are threshold alerts.
SDP 9.0 incorrectly detects IE11 as IE6/7
Hi there, Since updating to v9.0, accessing SDP using IE11 presents the following warning: This doesn't appear to affect any functionality (IE11 largely appears to work with SDP 9.0) however it can be confusing for users and prompt unnecessary calls to the service desk. Is there a server-side fix for this? Changing settings on every client isn't going to be a practical solution. (Note: this has been confirmed on Win 8.1 although it likely effects Win 7 too) Thanks, Richard
Migrating from postgress to MS SQL fails every time; no support either
Hello I tried to migrate several times from Postgress to MS SQL, I followed step by step the migration instructions in the FAQ but no luck. It seems that everything is ok but when I restart ELA nothing has been imported/restored I also tried to contact the support via email and phone several times (5 at least) but I received no call backs or replies. Please review the error next: When the applicant's name has a special character (' ; ^ ; ~ ; Ç ) and the user tries to create a new incident, the system is not recovering the details and displays the following message: "Requester Name does not exist. Device Templates not working
Good day I've taken over monitoring at our company and started working on a pre-existing probe. When working on the Windows Server 2012 R2 device template, I set the monitors and their thresholds and everything else, but when I hit Apply I get a blank page. I've logged out and back in to the probe, even restarted the server, but nothing helps. We have other probes setup of other enviroments and it works fine on there, so I know how it's supposed work. What do you think the issue could be? Issue
Does deleting open project tasks delete a project?
I have a technician in a role that allows them to delete project tasks but not projects. The technician deleted there open tasks at the same time leaving only completed tasks on the project. They were then project back to the main project page and all history of the project has been removed. I can't find the project anywhere in service desk? Is removing open project tasks supposed to remove the project? I wouldn't think that's the case but that is what happened.

We are able to pollit and discover all the interfaces successfully: - interface name - interface speed - interface status However there is no data for RX or TX. Hello. On my test SDP (Free version) I have problem with custom triggers. When I try to open Custom Triggers in Admin module I have: "The Change module is not enabled due to licensing. Please buy Change Add On license". So I cant use custom triggers on requests.

The first thing I try to do is to fetch all ci of ci type Database Serverer where we currently have 87 object According to your documentation the following should give me all ci:s " http://localhost:8080/api/cmdb//list/database server " but I get back 51? Desktop Central HTML 5 Viewer
Myself and a few of my coworkers are having remote control problems with the HTML5 Viewer. We have had to remote numerous times to the same machine. The viewer will not connect and displays message "Agent not Reachable" or it will go back to status of "disconnected". I have tried rebooting the client machines and the server. Neither worked, and we are still experiencing the problem. Some machines after trying to connect 7 or 8 times it will finally connect but then after a minute or 2 the session

Op Manager - vCeneter discovery
Good day, I seem to be having an issue with Op Manager doing a discovery of my ESX hosts and vm's. I have successfully added the two vcenters but the it never adds any hosts or vm's. I can do a CSV import but I would like to get this working as we will be adding 40+ vm's in the next 3 months and adding them manually is not an option as we want this automated. I have stepped through the instructions that are in the help section but the instructions seem to not work, any assistance would be OpManager

Dear forum members, in new Chrome browser ver.45 we faced a problem with opening SDP through HTTPS with self-signed certificate, because since that version (and as Chrome projects page states, that it may be backported to earlier versions too) only keys of 1024-bit or bigger and strictly with DHE RSA accepted. Does anybody has an idea, how to renew certificates to met new requirements? It is obvious about required length, but is it possible to create certificate with DHE by standart keytool? Or
Technician Auto Assign Exclusion List
Hi, We have the "technician auto assign" enabled in ServiceDesk Plus with a list of technicians to exclude. I'm trying to add two more technicians to that list, but when I click on their names, nothing happens. I can see the link for each technician name is a javascript action, but when I click on the names, they don't get added to the list. This was working before. Any ideas? We're running build 9107. iPhone SDP MSP Application Update
Since the new iPhone application update it appears that we can't log into our MSP system. We get an error "Provide a correct server" even though the server is correct and it will not save. Then if we exit the application and re-load it we can get the user name/password screen and it comes up with: "Request Failed. Status : 403" It is affecting everyone in the office that uses an iPhone application.
Form: unable to edit Description text after disabling field
For some forms we chose to turn off, or hid, the Description field to Requesters and turn off the Mandatory requirement. Now if we go back to the form and turn the settings back, the Description field is not editable. From the Requesters view they are able to see the Description field but from the Admin side the Description field is no longer a dialog box. How do we reset this field so we can repopulate the Description?

Cannot uninstall
I've been having a problem uninstalling ServiceDesk Plus and was wondering if there is an uninstaller program (For V8 and V9) out there that will remove this from our system so we can install fresh? We are performing an upgrade of V8 > V9 . Andrew
