Cant start the SDP server after backup restoration
Hi All, The server doesn't want to work after restoring of a full backup. The SDP build is 9200, the DB server is MSSQL. I'm trying to restore the backup to our test environment. Can't start Desktop Central
Can anyone help me start Desktop Central? I'm getting an Error ID 7024 in event viewer. A window also appears saying "If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 1." I'm trying to run this with a Domain Admin user, so rights shouldn't be an issue. Thanks!

not able to disable threshold under OpManager version 12
Hi, I'm traying OpManager version 12 functionnalities but i have a problem with editing thresholds. In fact, i made few notifications profiles and i associated them to windows server 2012 r2 devices and i configured tresholds for test so i got notifications. The problem is that when i tried to edit thresholds to stop notifications i still have notifications and i couldn't delete thresholds neither by trying to modify the device template or by trying to modify this from the devices snapshot. Hi, I have simple but quite annoying issue - when I add Windows 2012 server to Opmanager or (Appmanager) I can't monitor it via WMI as it says "Failed. Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided.Refer Troubleshooting for more reasons and solutions for them." - password for local ADMIN account is 100% correct as I can log on via RDP. Hi, I've generated a query of what time calls are being raised by hour and I'm getting strange results in Summer months. It would appear that British Summer time is not properly applying as calls are raising on average exactly 1 hour earlier for 6 months of the year I've checked the personalise screen and I have a star after my time zone so daylight saving time should be applying? Hi, I am testing OpManager V12 and I'm having some trouble with the "Last Polled Value of a Performance Monitor" widget, if I test the monitor gives me the correct value, however when I add the widget to any dashboard and select the monitor I ant to display it shows no data at all. New Task in Home Screen, Group can't be assigned, Task not accessible anymore
Hello Now in build 9208 there is a new problem with the tasks. If I create a new task in the home screen (without linking it to a request) it's not possible to access it anymore after I created it, because it's not possible to choose the support group. Our technicians only have acces to their support groups. Cannot add new resource group as the web page does not load completely
Hi using Chrome and selecting Add Group displays just the top of the screen with the two radio buttons to select criteria or pick options shows but the rest of the screen is blank. I checked and the server is not running low on any resource and even restarted it just to be sure. With Chrome you get the wait rundle and nothing happens. Occasionally it will show the remainder of the screen but it's more normal to look like it's just hung. Using IE is worse you just get the menu header and nothing
OpManager v12 (free edition) can recognize SNMPv1 trap but cannot recognize SNMPv2c trap
I had import the SNMP mib file of a device to OpManager v12 (free edition). I find that if my device set the SNMP version as version 1, OpManager can recognize the trap details. However, if my device set the SNMP version as version 2c, OpManager cannot recognize the trap details and treat those as "No Trap Parser defined". Please help to advise on this!
admin rights gone after migrate from MySQL to MSSQL
Hi all, I migrated OpManager 11200 from MySQL to MSSQL successfully. After migration we noticed that all the domain authenticated users that were admins on opmanager are not admins anymore. even when i delete them and add them again with admin permissions, they dont get the admin permissions. Like when they login, they can't see the admin tab, and they cant delete devices ... etc also some domain users that were there before migration are not listed in the users list, even they are still in the database.

Hallo, ich setze ADAudit Plus aktuell in eriner Trail Version ein. Zur Verwaltung des Tools habe ich eine OU-Gruppe als mögliche Technician an. Die User der Gruppe werden bei erstmaliger Anmeldung angelegt. Jedoch wird der User bei Entfernung aus der OU Gruppe nicht im ADAudit nicht gesperrt bzw hat keine Auswirkung. Ebenfalls auch eine Änderung des Passworts im DC zeigt keine Wirkung im Tool. Lediglich eine Deaktivierung des Users im DC zeigt eine Sperrung des Logins. Könnten Sie mir hier helfen?
Missing information - Availability Report
Hello All. I have OpManager Build Number 8811 and I´m facing a weird issue. Monthly I create manually an availability report of my devices about its availability on last 30 days, Sometimes reports shows only a couple of days. It seems that information aren´t recorded on database. Only after restart services the data are recorded again, but the missing information isn´t recovered. AD Report - Users with Empty Attribute not working properly
Under AD Reports, the report called 'Users with Empty Attributes' appears to not work correctly. With a single attribute selected: Mobile (Mobile Phone Number), the report generated includes ALL USERS regardless of whether this field has data in it or not. Can you help us decipher this? I have created a ticket but not received any response, so I'm posting here. I have an issue where one user is getting an error when trying to put in a resolution. It says "Failure: Exception occurred while performing the operation". This only occurs with that one user. Replying to work order fails
Good Morning, I have a problem where when replying to a work order (or forwarding) you get the window to type your email. You type it and press “Send”. The message goes away and you are left with a blank window and no message. When this happens usually all I have to do is exit the window and then hit reply again and type the email again. Remote Control will not connect successfully.
I just upgraded Desktop Central last week to Build 92029. The Remote Control (HTML 5) which was working great is now not connecting and stays at loading or when I click connect it will go back to connecting and then will just hang.This is urgent since the majority of the computers we use are remote and now cannot connect to.

Hi, like many of you, I can't get the outgoing mail function to work. I first tried using my Google Apps Account but to no avail. Secondly, I tried the mailserver of my ISP, which I know to work (in other applications). No need for authentication, just use smtp.telenet.be on port 25. nope, not in ServiceDesk :( I changed the servername to ip (195.130.132.10) but still no mails are being sent... Hi all, Yesterday i did a new installation of ADSELFService, and i have buildt the GPO for enrolling to the clients. But when i start my windows 7 pc, all i got is an empty page with a cancel button. Extra email sent to technician
One of our technicians got an extra email and I think it is a bug. The tech got a 'your ticket has been updated' email when the request was closed, he is not the original requester but was cc'ed on the email that created the request. See the attached pics for more info.
Service Catalog - Additional Fields
I have a problem on 9020/MSSQL whereby when Service Catalog items are being designed and you add an additional field through the designer these sometimes disappear and merge into an existing one. It's slightly annoying as the item simply disappears and merges with another you've added. It doesn't appear in the main list, so you have to delete what it merged with as well if you can figure it out ! Example: Add additional fields A & B through the designer, B disappears and when you view the main list
