Hello, under the admin tab i saw something called "Business hours". but i can not find any explanation on what it does. Does it still monitor but does not execute alerts / actions What is the difference with downtime scheduler?
Graph Setings Application Manager
Hi, the Application Manager graphs show as default only the last hour (data with polling interval). Older data are shown only as hourly average. Is there a chance to get data graph e.g. for the actual day or the last two days, with polling intervals? For me it would be important to see more detailed graph data (not only hourly average values). (Using Application Manager 8 Build No 8500 on Wondows2003) Thanks, Henrik

Hello, I am very interested in the product Application Manager, and especially in the Transactions Web J2EE. I have downloaded your demo version, but I have difficulies running the J2EE component. Firstly, the Web transaction agent only collects data on one url of my application (/enterpriseserver- web/ContentAccess/... and no data for /pdm/...) Does it need a special configuration ? J2EE Web Transation monitor
Hi, We are using evaluating Applications Manager and one of the monitors that we have configured is J2EE Web Transaction. While this gives data for the standard J2EE classes, we are not able to collect data from application specific Java classes. Note - as per instructions we have wta.props file defined and we have added -Dam.wtaconf.dir =<directory in which the wta.props file is present> in JAVA_OPTS Please suggest a way out. management server CPU
I installed the service pack 5 upgrade and the CPU on the management server has been at 100% since causing the program to be unusable. Task Manager shows it to be the mysql process. Even after uninstalling the SP and putting it back down to 8.4, it had the same problem (I put it back to 8.5). We're running Windows 2003. There are no erros in any of the windows event logs. The support log is in New Folder (71) on the ftp server.

Sending alerts for Database Job Status
In the MS SQL monitor, the database jobs are monitored with their end status shown; Failed, Cancelled or Successful. I would like to send alerts for the jobs that finish with the status "Failed" but when I configure alerts with the attribute "Job Status" I can only associate a Threshold Profile with Numeric values & not String values? How can I send alerts, if I have to use Numeric values? Does 0 = Successful and 1 = Failed or Cancelled... Please can you clarify this point?

Tomcat Monitor

The file sapjco.jar (renamed from sapjco3.jar) and the sapjco3.dll is already in workdir/lib, but the SAPDebug.bat program is already saying that not found JCO.... Hi, I'm currently evaluating Applications Manager and I am really impressed. Would like to know how the CPU utilization is calculated for HP-UX server monitoring. Shutdown Applications Manager?
While I wait for support to debug numerous issues I'm having I periodically have the need to restart Applications Manager. What's the best way to do this? I tried shutting down via the 'Admin' tab (that doesn't work because I'm having issues with the web responding at all). I then go to the server where it's installed and shut it down that way. wscript.exe process hanging
I created a Custom Monitor Type and setup 3 monitors that run the vbs script with different arguments. With all 3 monitors managed, the wscript.exe process will hang - no errors on the system, no alerts, no nothing. How can I tell why or which monitor is failing?
