Distributed setup giving errors since update to 116100
Hello, Since upgrading our monitoring env to build 116100 our admin server is reporting that it can no longer contact the Managed servers. But nothing has changed to the network, these servers are running fine and we can connect to them directly. Also, the polling of data is working according to the status. However we get these errors in the EESyncErr.txt logfile: SYNCERR: Unknown column 'ALERT.SOURCE' in 'where clause' java.sql.SQLException: Unknown column 'ALERT.SOURCE' in 'where clause'
Does AddMonitor RESF API work at all?
I am using REST API to create a Tomcat server monitor and try to add it to a group. The monitor was created but no addition to the group. EUM Agents not sending data to AppMan server
Hi All We have been running with AppMan for a few months. I recently deployed a number of EUM monitors and created scripts. These worked perfectly, but then the machine that they were deployed to crashed and needed replacing. I have replaced the PC and redeployed the agents. The agents are showing as running in AppMan and I have assigned the scripts to them. However, I have not had any data back. 100's of logins per minute in event viewer from Application Manager
We are trying to troubleshoot an issue we are having with our Application Manager. On many of our servers we are seeing 100's of login/logoff events per minute in the Windows Event viewer. Our polling interval is set to anywhere from 2-5 minutes though. Any ideas why this might be or where we can look? It is almost as if for every metric we are asking for (CPU, memory, eventlog errors, application status, and service status) it is doing a completely separate login.

Unable to delete monitor
Hi, I have a couple URL Sequence monitors that I am trying to delete but am unable to. If, while viewing a monitor, I click on the Delete Monitor button, I get the popup asking if I want to delete the monitor. I click Ok & am brought back to the Bulk Config View...yet the monitor is still there. We want to use appmanager for monitoring a JBoss 5.1.2 instance. I placed a jbossagent.sar in the deploy directory and restarted. But AppMan cannot reach te server. How can I check if the sar is netatly deployed? On which port this service will be adressed? Cheers
Mobile App not working: Invalid API key
Hello, I am having trouble getting the Mobile App to work with our environment. Every time I try to log in to either the Admin server or one of the Managed servers on port 8443, I get the following error: "Invalid APIKey!Please relogin" Can anyone offer any assistance? Monitoring specific databases
I have a SQL 2008R2 cluster that hosts many databases for many different applications. What I would like to do is have a monitor for only database A in the monitor group for application A, and a monitor for only database B in monitor group for application B. Hello, I need help yet again! :) I have another situation! We just ran into an issue where our server is showing that there is no issue but in actuality we have a critical job that failed. Here is what is going on: - We have a Critical job that fails at 10 pm. The status of that MSSQL monitor is Critical/RED. Hi, I need some help. I have MS SQL Monitors that I want to monitor certain MSSQL Jobs and need only those important SQL Jobs to affect the Health Status of group. As of now all if any of the jobs fail the health status becomes critical. I do NOT want this to occur. I need only specific jobs to affect the health status. Hello, Can someone please tell me if it is possible to create Templates with Multiple Monitors such as IIS, Windows Performance Counters, Windows Servers, etc and Apply them to Multiple Servers. We have multiple front end servers that essentially serves the same purpose and it is really difficult to maintain same set of thresholds on all those servers if it is done manually. hello, I have this problem with OpManager and configure the plug-in ApManeger. I have to monitor my vmware cluster. all hosts are detected properly but the VM powerd off continnuano to report errors. I have selected the VM from "Monitors> Virtual Machine - Bulk Config View" and I selected "unmanaged and reset status" and the alarm disappears, but after a few minutes (next to pool) machines are re-recorded and put on alert. meadow in the command "unmanaged" seems not to work. tips? We have a AIX server monitor, where there are some File monitors (section "Monitors in this system"). The Health status for one of these File monitors has the status critical. But this status is not reflected / propagated up to the Health status for the whole server: The Root Cause Status for the server is Clear/Green. Is this normal behavior ? MeAPM iPhone app and notifications
Hi, we've over a period of time had some problems with the MeAPM app and not getting notifications and the problem seems to occur whenever there is a newer version of IOS installed on our iPhones/iPads. Our solution has been to uninstall the MeAPM app and thereafter reinstall it, which of course isn't doable in the long run. We've made sure to check the push settings towards Apple and we don't have any problems to Telnet to the gateway from the Application Manager server (gateway.push.apple.com 2195) .

Apache OR Tomcat Service Down Alert
Hi, Recently we are getting Apache and Tomcat services Down alert(Please see the below sample alert mail) and its automatically changes the status in next polling. After checking the Apache and Tomcat logs we found Requested URLs was success and where served the end clients. Even no single errors found in logs. Reason behind this alert :- Whenever number of Requests are high(eg:- More than 40,000) we are getting this Apache and Tomcat Down alert. But theoretically alerts we are getting is wrong,

I updated to build 11500. I get the error "Failed to establish connection with web server. Gracefully shutting down Applications Manager." after all services start. All services then shut down. I uninstalled the update but the issue remains. Now I cannot use Appmanager at all - and our production systems are unmonitored. These kinds of issues are completely unacceptable in and app that we are paying for - this is probably the fifth issue I've had in less than a year. Please advise ASAP on
